So,,, I became your #1 fan when you found your son's social security card in the binder. I can sooo relate. 😂 I stitched on my Unconventional XStitch full coverage Frida Kahlo while I watched/listened to your extra. All while a large bag of fabrics need to be organized. -Karen 🐶🐶
Ohh loving the Rose Medley💐 I really am glad I watched this video. I recently bought more patterns and wanted to share them on RUclips but was a little embarrassed to. But now I realize that I really don’t have a lot of patterns. Thank you! Now I can go and buy some more😂🐘🐬🦁
🦆 I was working on a small sampler while I had this video on and am almost done with it! Thanks for sharing so many patterns…and we love Robin Hood in this house! The classics are the best! One of our family’s favorites is The Three Cabelleros from 1944!
I've put x-stitch magazines in Binders, yet my leaflets / charts go by theme (4 separate seasonal, holiday, floral, animals, patriotic, Christmas, sayings, Mira's, samplers ...) into magazine holders that sit on a shelf. You don't need to buy any more fabrics or charts until at least the end of this year, lol. I want to start my Cinnamon Stars too. Write video show ideas into the old planner per month or write Charts you want to begin in those months. Stitching a Shepherd's Bush kit, Be Thankful. 🐦🐈⬛
I'm stitching on Summer Sampler by Butternut Road! It's a new start that I wanted to get ahead of for next year because next year is going to be very busy for me at work and I know I'll hardly have time to stitch until at least July. Loved your video! I don't have enough paper patterns to organize them in binders so I just keep them in a plastic scrapbook case together.
🐳 I got so much done one Cathedral Woods Goddess watching along with you! I also need to organize my patterns. I forget what all I have because they’re not all together.
I am constantly looking at my stash and saying "you dont need anymore you could go the rest of ur life and never run out of stash to stitch stop buying stuff" and then immediately go to 123 and add to 🛒. The struggle is real and the i-must-have-it pull is too strong to resist 😂 I have no willpower when it comes to patterns lol
I was interested in how you are doing your organization of patterns. I am organized, but need more room to store my patterns. They lay flat in a tall drawer cabinet that is narrow and has 6 drawers. Each drawer holds 4 letters by designer name (in alphabetical order), the last drawer holds 6 letters. They are getting very full as the drawers are not very deep. I am on the look out for a cabinet that has extra deep drawers. Problem is my stash is in my sleeping porch, and while it's a good size, it's not the Taj Mahal. sigh... need that lottery win! LOL I could get something like Husky shelving unit and put the patterns in extra large tall bins with covers. But I would rather not spend the money on something that wouldn't make my heart sing. So the hunt and the ideas keep coming in. The struggle is real for anyone with a hobby like ours. LOL I hope Allison gets better soon, and thank you for a peek into your world. Hugs and Love, Jennifer PS Forgot to mention I don't separate my patterns by season or type of pattern - strictly by designer. I have an excel file that I use to list all my charts, and it saves me time from running upstairs to check to see if I have a chart or not. Currently, I have 716 patterns. 👀👀
I filemy patterns in page protectors and three ring binders by designer. Magazines I take out the ones I want to use. Do put them in a page protector in a different binder. Toss the rest of the magazine. Yeah it’s come back to bite me because some thing caught my eye that I didn’t keep in the past. My bad.
Would it not be easier to organize by designer? Thst is how I have organized mine. I have patterns like you thst I know I am not going to stitch but do not want to get rid of. Also have plastic canvas patterns that I want to do in cross stitch. I find I organize constantly and one day maybe satisfied with a system. Organization is a work in progress all the time

Great video, Stephanie, I need to do some organizing too. Thanks for the inspiration 😊. I hope that Allison feels better soon..
You can use those comic book blanks to stiffen up those page protectors. It helps. Happy stitching
🐶🐢organized with you! Still more to go!
