Nah facts but tbh most Batman games have always been good. Before this I grew up playing Batman Begins (2005) on Gamecube and even that game had similar stealth and gadgets and the fighting was good
When I was a teen and I played this game, Killer croc and his area scared the heck out of me. I would boot up the game, get to the sneaking part of the area and when I got caught he would scare the crud out of me. The death cutscene would play and I would be done for the day. Today, on November 8th, 2020, I finished the croc level and beat the game. I feel so dang proud of myself. I even had a big one person party, I had wine and some old new years eve party hats. It was about as fun as a one person party could be.

Man, I just realized, when he taunted Cash with "Tick tock, tick tock, is that a crocodile I hear?" he wasn't referring to Killer Croc! He's calling him Captain Hook!
When joker say at 1:05 that was a nod to Batman the animated series. Batman was committed in to an asylum and he says “ joker has a bomb” lol I love these Easter egg 🐣 🐣 🐣

Greg Moore well, that's the genious part....he didn't have to escape...it was all a trap...he let Bats catch him and was dropping hints that the security was already on pay role. "with all the new guards hows a guy supposed to escape?" "dontchu think is funny they transferred all my crew here?!" Joker was home the second they brought him through the door.

Because Joker considers the asylum as his home and Batman is his guest.

It's hard to believe that Batman Arkham Asylum 2 or Arkham City will be Mark Hamill's last time voicing the Joker ever. What a sad time that will be, but I'm assured that since it's his last time doing it. He'll go out with a bang... A big bang.... A really, big bang with millions laughing and crying.
I remember playing this when it came out when I was 9. I was staying at my Aunt and Uncle’s for the day and my dad worked close by so he went out of his way to drop it off so I could play it on my Uncle’s xbox. I didnt see the big deal at the time because super hero games were never that great imo. As I went through this intro, I became hooked and it was easily one of, if not the best games of my childhood. Because of this game, i had never built as much excitement for a game as I did for Arkham City.
Maybe it's not my favorite part of this trilogy, but the opening itself is one of the greatest of all time ,,Hundreds dying in shame and fear, All there lives coming to a horrifying conclusion, all thanks to you and a book of matches”
I love how scary this feels compared to the other Arkham games. It’s like Batman meets Outlast. The scarecrow nightmares, Croc’s lair, the insane lunatics, and the creepy asylum setting. All of this fits perfectly and feels like more than just a kickass superhero game. It’s a suspenseful horror game. And Batman was always dark brooding character, so this is the perfect setting for him and his villains.
