      He said: "I want to obtain French citizenship so I can be selected to play for Les Bleus. I don't want to play for any other national team."
      They did. He then double crossed them and decided to join a loaded team. That is EXACTLY Embid in a nutshell. that's one of many reasons why he is hated.

Because you may favor playing-for-calls, but in the playoffs those defenders are also star players.     Embiid is so immature, I think that's his biggest fault. Regarding his health issues, as he gets older it's only going to get worse. He's got joint issues and arthritis, that doesn't improve especially in a big man of his size. I feel the more he realizes that, the easier it is for him to shift the blame and put down others because he knows his NBA future isn't the brightest.
    I really wish Team USA would've gone with Chet instead of Embiid.

    You forgot to mention in the video that Joel Embiid also has the largest ppg drop off from Regular Season to Playoffs as an MVP.. ever.
    No MVP has ever performed as bad relative to their regular season performance. If that doesn't tell you everything you need to know, then I don't know what does.

    As a person who watches a lot of playoff nba, and max 15-20 regular season games per year (mostly Christmas), for me Embiid is not even a top 25 player. But I know his regular seasons are great. Simply never seen the greatness in the playoffs.

      a) not taking recovery, conditioning as an injury prone person (let alone pro athlete) should
      b) plays too risky without any thought for consequences
      His last injury... He has a HISTORY of injuries and, at that moment, hurting knee... Yet, he dives into a crowd for a loose ball in a irrelevant game. That is not a freak accident. That is pure negligence.

Another option is to not whine about "freak" injuries and use them as an excuse. And finally, he can continue as he is and be criticized by random broke dudes on the Internet. Personally, I would like the first option the most because everybody deserves health and both his fans and his haters deserve a better game of basketball.

    Team u.s plays under lebron's system and philly plays to feed Embiid. It's kinda obvious why lebron and steph look better. Embiid has to adjust to the fast pace offence.     When Jason Tatum, has made 4 conference finals, in 5 years, while Philadelphia cant even make it past the semifinals, thats y Jimmy Butler left him and also made 4 conference finals, the difference is that Tatom, showed up, they made it past the 1st round, while Joel chokes in the playoffs, I mean his points will be down, compared to his points in the regular season, even winning scoring titles, but once the playoffs starts, he chokes, unlike Playoff Jimmy, who plays better in the playoffs, than regular season and another example is LUka Doncic
