    Literally the best-looking crossover Toyota’s ever made 😍. So athletic/aggressive looking. If it comes to the US, I hope it has the power to back up the looks, which rarely happens with TMC.

  • @springertube
    @springertube 11 месяцев назад +18

    That's a definite yes for this and especially a Crown estate! Either a 100% improvement over the sedan. Love the front-end treatment and the fact that they have restrained from the big gaping maw that has infected the whole Toyota world the last several years. Agree, the back-end not its strong point. Color array okay but not outstanding... but at least great if there is an array at all. Sorry Kirk, not a fan of the yellow or bumblebee though I can see the appeal for some. Missing some cool greens and blues, light chalk /cement, Etc. Need some more interior options. Honda really missed an opportunity with its Civic and / or Integra - should have had this or better yet estate form for the five-door/hatch. Accord team are you listening? Admittedly a completely different class but can't believe Porsche is getting rid of its Gran Turismo Panamera, if I heard correctly. What the H is wrong with buyers?

    • @springertube
      @springertube 11 месяцев назад +2

      @@mottom2657 +1 maybe a Crown estate could be just that. The last Camry wagon in the mid-90s was a cool vehicle, unique with that reverse cant D pillar treatment that - though perhaps not everybody's cup of tea - was different. But, I believe it never was sold in the top luxe trim available on the sedan or maybe more would have bought. I remember the dual rear wipers! I had the relatively rare 2-door coupe version in the top "sport" (luxe) SEV6 trim , the precursor to the Solara (which I then also had), which were great cars. When it came to camping and hauling time, I remember being envious of the wagons I would see! My first Highlander sorta scratched that itch, blending (most of) the best of both.

I hope the two gentlemen seen driving the new Crown Sport in the official Toyota video are at least 6'4" 🤞🤞By all means, Toyota should bring that top class, RWD sedan to North America😁If necessary, smuggle a Crown Estate home in your carry on luggage and start a continental tour campaigning to bring it to our market!! 🤩🤩

But I am excited about the Crown Sport, in bronze with the brown interior. I've looked at the Crown sedan/crossover offering we have here but the only way to get the bronze color is with the Platinum and the tu-tone. It's not a very exciting car, should be a 5 door I think. But the Crown Sport well wow! That is really what I want, it's very good looking. I keep looking at the RAV4 and Prime, but I'll wait for this Crown Sport instead. .Please tell all your friends over there they have a buyer who's going to wait for the Crown Sport to come to the US. And I'd love the Crown emblems too, it's a Crown it should have those on the hood at least! I'll put all my buying efforts on hold and hopefully get on a list with a dealer with no mark-ups! Tough to find here in California though.

    Also, I could almost see Toyota merging Lexus back into the brand and offering a Crown level package.

    Red and Red/Black are the only colors that look good on it IMO.

    Toyota may bring the rest of the Crown lineup stateside and perhaps turn it into something of a Buick-like sub-brand acting as a wedge between Toyota proper and Lexus.

    397 Liter cargo room for the trunk is cute.

    Toyota is doing great things. The only part that's unfortunate is that Toyota gets good stuff first and the trickle down (trickle up?) to Lexus feels slower. Maybe it's because Lexus is going EV anwyay.
