Nobody in the movie recognizes his mouth. Lewis recognized the gun spin trick and Emial recognized the line “dead or alive you’re coming with me.”
It baffles me why nearly all I’ve seen react to this movie don’t get that.
Quite a few reactors also call the commercials cheesy and overacted and fail to understand that it’s satire and meant to be cheesy and overacted.
The thug at the gas station recognized Murphy because he said the same line "Dead or Alive you are coming with me"
It's not from the bottom of his mouth, Lewis recognized him from the gun trick he did, and then that one guy at the Gas station recognized him because he said the same thing to him before "Dead or alive your coming with me."
I clocked this the 1st time I watched the movie. At age 9 😂
@@SA-zoom1same for me in 1988, but I was 14.
A lot of reactors ALWAYS say the mouth 😂 even when how emil recognized him in the gas station. 😂 8 year olds in 1987 had better comprehension of movies they watched i swear to god 😂
@@burnikshrapnel people have low attention span nowadays.
The Emergency room people weren't actors, they were an off duty ER team, the director brought in to make the scene look authentic.
Thats the whole ongoing point of the film,- de-humanisation, with a contrasting black comedy twist.
he recognises the words "dead or alive" just as lewis recognises the gun twirl
I swear "Robocop" predicted reality TV with that recurring "I'd buy that for a Dollar" comedy show. With reality, I'm constantly thinking, "How is this entertainment? How is this fun? How is this even on?" Every time Bixby Snyder comes on, that's the Carsedans right there.

Please don't mock these people, that there was an actual real-life medical trauma team, and that's their genuine professional lingo, largely ad-libbed. I really love that bit.
😂😅 my apologies, someone did inform me that they were an actual medical team😅but in the moment they did sound weird to me🙄😂
@@RouxReacts
Well, they're not professional actors. I like it when "regular" people get a shout-out like that in big-budget Hollywood. Most of the extras in "Jaws", for instance, the grieving mother just did local amateur theater.
Oh cool, never watched jaws!😅 I’ll definitely have to check it out!
You're making fun of the Doctors in the hospital scene but i'll let you know that those Doctors were real.
They hired a real hospital staff and told them to do what they would if it were a real life event.
They're not recognizing RoboCop by the bottom of his mouth. They're recognizing him by the stuff that he says.
My apologies!😂😅 that’s really cool that they were actual medical professionals, but in the moment they did sound weird😅
@@RouxReacts Yep,those guys were actual medical professionals there no
actors which made the scene more realistic !!!
@@RouxReactsThey aren't acting weird. Just how do you expect them to behave?
You think that doctors would act emotional in their job or matter of fact?
If they sound unattached, it is because they see this on a regular basis daily, and are not supposed to be emotionallt attached to random people, they are expected to save their lives and part of that is being able to communicate in matter of fact way with the staff, not screaming or even acting rushed. That seems obvious.
@kennymendoza1581 Well it sounds awkward ,I understand they should be emotionless due to dealing with similar situations on a daily basis but it doesn’t sound natural it sounds robotic and a bit forced, but regardless of that I still like the fact that they are an actual medical team and I did like movie quite a bit!😁
Please react to Jaws, a classic from 1975
They don't recognise him from his mouth, they recognise him from his gun spinning and he reuses phrases eg "Dead or alive you're coming with me."
Fun fact about Robocop's thermograph vision. The director couldn't afford the hire of a thermography camera on the movie's budget. So he had all the actors and actresses wear body suits and painted them to mock the thermograph effect. I think it worked out great.
Okay cool,😂 that’s actually crazy, cause it’s super well done!
He recognised him at the petrol station because he used the same phrase, dead or alive you're coming with me.
You notice the strangest things and miss the most important and obvious details lol
The script idea came form the Scree Writer seeing The Terminator, and he thought what if Terminator was a Police Officer.
Okay haha thanx for info, that’s really cool!😁
If you like Robocop, I suggest checking out Starship Troopers (which was also directed by Paul Verhoeven). The CGI Bug effects were top tier for it's day, and frankly stands up by todays standards. The movie left out a lot of crucial parts of the Novel, but captured the essence of Heinlen's (sp?) book.
Okay cool, Thanx for the suggestion!
I love watching RUclipsrs react to films I’ve seen as a wee lad….
I had such a good time watching!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 So glad you blurred the gore 🙏🏻 Enjoyed all the laughs 😂 These oldies have become entertainment at last 😄
Bob Morris is played by Miguel Ferrer, most liely you saw him in the TV series Crossing Jordan, or Twin Peaks,
The Blob (1988) if you want some great practical effects.
Highly recommend District B-13. Best Action film ever.
Cool! I’ll add it to my list!
We are waiting for the continuation of parts 2 and 3. pliz)
Thanx for your support, it is on the way, I am currently editing a couple projects but I have filmed number 2!
OMG my childhood very classic RoboCop directed by Paul Verhoeven starring Peter Weller, Nancy Allen, Ronny Cox, Daniel O'Herlihy, Miguel Ferrer, Kurtwood Smith and music score by Basil Poledouris. This film has two sequels and one remake RoboCop 2 (1990) RoboCop 3 (1993) and RoboCop (2014 remake) thank you bro great reaction 👍👍👍
What's the charge? You don't know the guy that's been on the news for being involved in the deaths of 31 cops?
Movies to check out _ Predator, Alien, Aliens, Blade Runner, Die Hard, Excalibur, Audition (1999 J Horror), Running Man, Commando.
Unfortunately I have already seen Predator, all the Doe Hard movies, and all the Alien movies😅 but I’ll definitely check out, Excalibur, Audition, Running man, Commando, and district B-13 don’t think I’ve seen any of those!😁 Thanx for the suggestion!
Oh no when choking boddicker thats all murphy...its personal
23:59 - Bob didnt hire them. He clearly didnt know them. Why would they kill him if they worked for him? They worked for Dick Jones, who hated him.
It's called "suspension of disbelief". Use it!
no one can figure it out - do i blurr this or not sooo good luck
Masterpiece of a movie.
"I work for Dick Jones!"
The people involved in writing at the time could not get the rights to Judge Dredd, so they wrote this based on the dystopian comic "2000AD".
The Movies "Judge Dredd" and later "Dredd" came out afterwards. Both have their merits (if you can get past Stallone's ego in JD), but IMO the Karl Urben version is far superior.
Starship Troopers is from the same director, you might want to check it out.
Thanx for the suggestion I’ll add it to the list!😁
It is weird that this movie has some of the most advanced SFX of the time but that fall at the end looks soooo bad. Still, it's a fantastic movie and Paul Verhoeven is one of my favourite directors, Starship Troopers is another great one from him and if you don't mind a movie in Dutch the WW2 film 'Black Book' is also fantastic.
Yeah that’s scene was bad😂 but I really enjoyed it! Starship troopers is on my list, and I will add Black Book!😁
Its an original idea, but inspiration was taken from Judge Dredd.
It's based on animation
The movie came out first. The cartoon came later. Just like the Toxic Avenger
What animation?
