Because golden buzzers are reserved for the sad story, or sub par act, which shows promise to grow.
People like her, don't need to worry about progressing. Either on the show, or through producers that think she has a much stronger wide audience appeal. In which case, she won't win, because they don't want her stuck behind the shows contract.
Its been proven time and time again that many of the non winning acts go to have much better careers than the winners.

My goodness...as soon as she hit the "I see Red" line I instantly got goosebumps! I love when a singer has that linda of power and emotion to make you physically feel it. Absolutely amazing job. I wish this young lady nothing but happiness and success where ever her path takes her in life. She's definitely meant to sing!

Allways perfect hair and nails, on a diet 24/7, plastic surgeries on every bodypart, dressed up like a doll and acting unnatural and fake. This girl with her beautiful voice gets onto the stage and shows more confidence in herself and her talent in that 5 minutes then the rest of the females in the jury will ever gain in their whole life. Because all she really cares for is singing. And that she has a stunning voice should matter the most, not how she looks or what her body index is. But saddly in this industry priorities are different.

What I noticed right away from the song (other than the heebie jeebies, and my soul being called)- was how many women immediately got up out of their seats. She really showed a side of herself that was a big part of her soul. I was “she needs a heart!”Love her rendition. Amazing.

I must confess I had not heard this song before, but after doing some research and listening to the original and most of the interpretations by other singers, this girl's version is hands down the most powerful and moving that's ever been done.
I get chills every time I replay this performance.

Her voice SHOULD BE the only industry standard. She doesn’t need autotune, her parents aren’t industry moguls, and she doesn’t dress or act like an infamous woman so they’ll reject her. It’s a shame too because she beautiful, and most importantly, TALENTED.

She has an amazing voice and I do believe she'll make it. I don't think the industry standard ,which is based on looks in most cases, will hold her down. Young people today are far more open minded and accepting than 40 years ago. I'd love to see her make it big time.
Very cool to have a Fellow Texan up on the stage ( Kelly Clarkson 1st winner of AGT ) after all was from Burleson, and Kristen is from Crowley ( Crowley and Burleson are back to back - next to each other) Not too far down the road... I have friends that live there.
