Thanks to JB video of Squall, i made a Earth limited team to beat the lightning meta, just made a video whit 20 winning streak beating multiple variants whit Squall, the data of JB was crucial to know the weackness of the meta teams and the variants players going to build. My Team: Oberon 140 whit 45 reincarnations, 115 Eurel, 140 Lorenzo whit 85 reincarnations. unfortunately JB doesnt have a twitter so i can share the video on his TL to know his opinion. For Irving i want to use Reagan/Oberon/Irving, JB gives me some good ideas. PD: Oberon and Eurel TMR's gives me the debuff needed to nullify the Meta, the LB of Lorenzo ends the debuffing whit all remove bonus (and got really good reach). @@JB79 My problem is what im a FTP, i dont believe i can have 2 or 3 teams ready for the next season of WDL, so my progresion whit Eurel has been slow. im still working on Pelene, i like your team whit she in dps, great mobility too, so i tink in make a team Pelene/Reagan/Irving.
JB, I have a question that needs you help. I am wondering which version of Platinum Armor do you recommend? (The one that had unit and strike resist) Vital has 930 plus HP and shield has 20 Defense. What do you think?
Not to say that it was perfected, but I feel like Barret was a gunner tank. Would definitely be interesting to see if they can revamp this idea. Seems difficult given what gunners are supposed to do. But I guess you could make a gloves like user that’s a tank with missile attacks. That would make some sense.
I agree, that's what they wanted Barret to be, by the time they got it right with his 140 and his new weapon, the power creep had passed him by, if those upgrades had come to him pre 3rd anniversary power creep, he wouldve been amazing during that Ice missile meta last year. He was one of the prime examples in my mind of the tanky gunner that Gumi has failed with, along with someone like Summer Lilyth, although she has also gotten some nice upgrades over time the power creep at this point has really passed her by outside of maybe some manual pvp usage.
Ill be going Luartha gun + Ragnarok + Sandals/Genji for him. Had to hard pity and im completely strapped for vis so wont be able to go crazy like I do for other dark units.
Nice, could be a good build to maximize his follow up attack. Laras Pistols +6 is another good option, or even an extra 10 DEF pen from thornlet. Sorry you had to pity, at least you can get some good use out of him in manual.
I definitely agree with what you said at the end of the video about Bridal Alaya having all but obsoleted missile units. Unfortunately for ice (and myself), that cuts off one of the primary team comps in Alaya/Eliza. When you add to that how lackluster the units ice has received in recent months have been, and the fact that their elemental pairing is water which has basically never been favored in GL WotV, ice feels nearly unplayable in the current meta. I really wish Jayden hadn't been so devoid of meta relevant abilities. It's especially stark since Alaya is so damn strong. Jayden just looks pathetic when compared to her.
I have found some success using him with Dialdo and Rinoa via Dark Golem and some of the pierce synergy. However, outside of that I agree overall, Jayden is very lackluster compared to BAlaya - which is pretty unfortunate since they're essentially released at the same time.
@@JB79 it’s puzzling to me as well why mainline ff seems to be getting the short shift, I understand if it were to reign in balance. Maybe they want fans to work for there desserts.
They know we refuse to pull on regular pool units. Exact reason Alaya was busted. They want us to spend crazy money like JP does. Sorry gumi, we dont see the value so we're not doing it, period.
I think its just the overall cost being untenable, JP revenue has dropped off for the same reason in my opinion. The game should not be expensive to Pull AND expensive to build. Maybe with Hiroki stepping in as producer they will change their approach for the 4th year, maybe they finally notice the drop and will look to make it a bit more sustainable.

Probably for the best, unless you're a hardcore guild raider I'm not sure he's worth the cost!
