We'd love a like and a subscribe, of course.
Thanks so much for taking a look.

Meals look great, as usual. Glad the running-around-and-screaming about "ultraprocessed vegan food," currently reaching a fever pitch, hasn't fazed you guys! Eat like you used to but without dead animal things and with more veggies. That's it! Not hard. Felt envious seeing you and the senior Broms at that restaurant in Manchester; such simple but delicious looking food. Thanks for posting 🙂
Oh, definitely, veganised versions of stuff I loved previously. Sausage sarnies. Shepherd's Pie. Spag bol. Pizza and salad. Fish finger sarnies. Baked spuds with grated cheese and salad.
But some new stuff as well of course. Lentils. Chickpeas. Quinoa. Seeds thrown in everything (and flaxseed in baking) and a much wider range of nuts than I ever ate previously. And fruit and veg I'd never tried, and all veg and salad stuff in much larger quantities than pre vegan.
I'm new to your channel , I'm not vegan (yet) but I'm starting on a new journey ...I think you two are the loveliest people I've seen on RUclips , I'm definitely a fan and love your cooking 😊😊😊 xxx
Come on and join us.
We're a friendly bunch. 😁
I've just finished a vegan fish from plant pioneer, chips and mushy peas for tea - lovely!
Just a quick note to those of us in the UK, from Thursday 18 April, Lidl are having a Meat Free Week, with things like Quorn vegan pepperoni, vegan tortellini, those brocolli nuggets that Paul and Jason had in the past, Linda McCartney vegetarian chicken burgers(i believe they ARE vegan, but check the ingredients to be sure) - might be worrh Jason and Paul popping in and making a vid?
Anyway, just thought I'd let ya'll know.
Also, in case you don't know, if you go early enough (opening time) they have big boxes of fruit and veg (coming to the end of their shelf life, but still fine for 2 or 3 days or so - sometimes longer) for £1.50. I think Paul has already mentioned this on another video, but I thought a reminder was due. 😎
I appreciated the reassurances regarding the restaurant gravy situation.
One of my favourite things is veganising foods that I used to eat. I think it brings on such great creativity in cooking that I lacked before. That said, it has been fun also discovering new, whole food, Plant based recipes. Really though, who can resist vegan fish n chips!
thanks for the inspiration! nice comforting meals in this awfull weather, stormy here in cornwall lastnight and next couple days not looking good. anyway take care, thanks
16:20 @jason that soup looks good, look forward to the other soup u mentioned review.. will have to look out for them cheap tesco vegan soups do u remember flavours? anyway keep warm n dry guys
I really enjoy these mealvlogs.
Even though a lot is not available over here (the Netherlands), I do get some inspiration from your meals.
I even started drewling when I saw the tofu in the beginning. 😋😅
Glad you like them!
In our area we used to get the Gardein frozen fish fillets, now we have to go to a restaurant. Your lunch out with Stuart looked absolutely amazing. Hmm what a great idea, sausage roll sandwich, unique. Yummy looking wraps with the vegan chicken strips. Your Sunday lunch at the Allotment looked fabulous. All your meals are so good, as usual.
I love that I’m just there demanding that you shit the salad during the live 🫣😂 food this week has looked sublime lads!
Both meals out looked particularly delicious 😋 The Allotment is never a bad place to be 💚 x
I'm making your Korean braised tofu this week, I ordered the ingredients and it's on the meal plan. Your short vid was super useful because I just went to that when I was ordering to see what I needed, thanks! x
Hope you like it!
Always love your weekly meal vlogs. The African peanut stew looks incredible. Also the food at the restaurant looks lovely
I've been buying tinned soup over the past few months. People get snobby about it, but it's a good quick fix. Low effort to microwave.
I swear you guys are so spoiled in the UK! I am in Kentucky, and the only Fish substitute I can get my hands on is Gardein, And after having vegan fish in England,, I can tell you that it doesn't rate very high. But I'm still grateful to have it! I'm lucky enough to be able to find the bachelor's mushy peas, though, so I have that same meal quite often!
watched this within minutes of it popping up, would be rude not to! ;) thanks for all you both do x
Mum and Dad Brom are adorable, and it's a beautiful thing that they eat mostly vegan 🤗
It really is!
@@ThoseVeganGuysit'd be a dream for most of us. Noone in my family is even veggie let alone vegan and there's zero interest in making any changes. I'm the weird, difficult one, in their eyes, and I FEEL that way when I'm with them 😔
Meals look lovely as always. Oumph have brought out 4 new vegan & gluten free items at Iceland, crispy buffalo tenders, crispy chicken, lemon and herb chicken and swedish meatballs all look really good!
We love aldis vegan fish, also tried mushy peas with garden peas it's one of our favourites.
i like the salt and vinegar plant menu fish fillet. i have mine with sweet potato fries. mushy peas is a must, i add mushrooms to mine.
Sounds great!
What an amazing price for that soup!
Thanks to this I just remembered I need to add some Linda sausages to my weekly shop! Thanks 😹😹😹
Don't forgot farmfoods if you have one. Bags of ten for a couple of quid.
Ahh lovely 😋
Great vlog guys. Must admit we were worried about the Sunday dinner gravy situation. Thought a carrot and parsnip barrier would have to have been constructed!🤣
LOL. Twas lovely to dunk rather than pour over. Bread came in handy
Ooooh that tofu ❤
Great food vlog, love you guys 🇨🇦
Love the sh*tting arpeggio which you sing together 🎶🥗
The best vegan ‘fish’ and chips I have ever had was in a vegan restaurant in Godshill, Isle of Wight which, unfortunately has now closed. It was a banana flower in seaweed flavoured batter. It was delicious but I have no idea where to buy banana flowers. Do you?
Yes, most supermarkets sell it now in tins. Banana blossom
Ocado has the tins of banana blossom.
@@ThoseVeganGuys thanks - no supermarket here on the Isle of Wight does it but Amazon does - hurrah!
@@debbiepalmer1094 Thank you - unfortunately Ocado don’t cover my postcode but I can get it on Amazon. Didn’t realise it came in tins!
You mentioned using Flora spread on your bread and it got me thinking how strange it is to see Flora UK advertising their spreads as "rich and creamy, without that weird cow bit" when in NZ and AU their spreads all still contain dairy! Hopefully they'll change their recipes here soon 🙃
I’m getting ready to warm up my version of Korean Braised Tofu. Didn’t have all the ingredients but close. Thanks for taking us along. Eat healthy. Take care. Love to all.
We don’t have a fish alternative in NZ anymore 😢 We used to get Gardein but that’s stopped now. Loads of vegan stuff is disappearing atm, including a very lean and healthy NZ made chicken, steak and mince alternative that was low fat, gluten free and soy free (not that I mind gluten or soy). I don’t know that I’ll do without it 😢
The gravy and roasts at The Allotment looks 🤩
Gutted
Korean tofu looks great
My favourite fish alternatives are Marksies Plant Kitchen ‘fish’ fingers. Best out there and fab on a butty with mayo & ketchup ❤🌱
I had completely forgot, what you guys had on the mukbang 😂. For sum reason I thought you'd had a brinner. That's beer brain for you 💚
LOL
Have you tried the Lockwood frozen mushy peas? (You can get them ready made or peas you have to boil)
They are nothing like the "mushy peas" you get in tins and one of my favourite foods (pre and post vegan)
btw - I have been vegan 25 years and almost never have tofu ;-)
We haven't, but I think I've seen frozen ones in heron but only marked veggie. I'll check.
@@ThoseVeganGuys I have just checked and you are right, they do all seem to just say vegetarian but I just checked the ingredients and it is "Rehydrated Peas (99%), Bicarbonate of Soda".
BTW - They are best with lots of vinegar or even better still mint sauce.
The food at that restaurant looked amazing, I would definitely order a vegan omelette if I ever saw it. What was it made with?
Chickpea flour x
🎉Soup alway nice cosy grub, do you both have a pre made ready meal you go to? What would it be? and what shop from?
We don't. We rarely ever have ready meals other than Jason at work.
@@ThoseVeganGuysthanks, Have you tried the lazy vegan meals? they are good the pasta one is nice from sainsbury's.
Spotted your Bisto meat free spaghetti bol video shame can't find that meal now or the Linda McCarney fish cakes
What is your best go to meal to cook that is simple? thanks for the reply so far
First 🎉
I don't eat a lot of fish substitutes as it wasn't something I went for much pre-vegan but I liked the Quorn ones. I do tend to go with vegan substitutes in general - anything worth eating can be veganised!
