The xv20i that was just installed at my hone is vibrating excessively and very loud. It puts a vibration on the exterior wall and a loud drone that hurts the ears. Wouldn't install one again. Trane doesn't give a damn about their problem products.

It's possible that something was installed incorrectly, but your contractor should be able to assess any installation or general service issues.
