Prodigal Son on a Lowly Mountain Banjo

A five-string banjo inspired by historic instruments, specifically the Haitian banza, the Sloane strum-strump, and the banza in the painting “The Old Plantation”. Elements of each were combined and mated with modern playability standards and various aging techniques to create an old-world vibe.
