This song stopped me in my tracks I was walking out the church for good. I sat back down and cried because I was dealing with an illness that was robbing me of my life. That was 11 yrs ago. I sought Jesus and I'm still in church today. I always come back to this to remember how far He's brought me.
Ruth Graham was my sunday school teacher at Montreat Anderson College in 75. I had the priviledge of doing the worship music each Sunday, before her teaching. She later asked me to do some mission work for her. A part of who i am is because of the Jesus i saw in her. I will never never forget that time in my life.... i miss her.
My wife says that if she doesn't start off with Jesus in the morning, it's not a good day. Jesus , the Holy Spirit and God, are the most important people, in the entire world. God loved us so much that he gave his only Son. If we admit, believe and commit to Jesus, we'll go on with Him to eternity.
that's beautiful ,,yes,I believe they hear you while in a coma, because this one elderly lady I visited in the hospital and sang old hymns to her while she was dying and some words I couldn't remember,I made them up in my songs and she blushed, she knew I made a mistake..so you see how sweet it is to sing or visit with them in a coma...

I saw Fernando perform this live in 2001 a few days after 9/11. It was pretty much like this rendition, except no guitar or cello, just Fernando playing the grand piano. It was the closing song in his set. When he was done the auditorium was absolutely silent, stunned. There was no applause because it just didn't seem right. What a moment. That night was awesome, because Twila Paris was the featured performer. She closed with "God Is In Control", which lifted us all up in light of 9/11.

One year later, Gene was a counselor at the Billy Graham meetings in Sacramento helping others receive Christ as he had done one year earlier. This song touches me on several levels. First, I've followed Billy Graham for many years. Second, my father just passed away at age 90. He was a devout Christian. So the first verse reminds me of how he started his day. He was "alone" for 27 years after my mother passed away, so the second verse grabs me. And of course the third verse hits me hard. My consolation is that he is now reunited with his wife in heaven, and he has been given Jesus face-to-face.

I sang this song at my school during the Easter season I practiced for two months and it was beautiful. Half the of the people in the pews were in tears by the end of the song. I love Fernando Ortega music and have sung others for my church as well. Thank you

In 2012 I was hit a chronic panic disorder and I was already in Christ for like 7 years. It just came out of nowhere. Panic attacks everyday along with migraines. And I was at weakest point where I wanted to just walk away from God permanently. I was in church which was really hard for at the time. I panicked and I was getting ready to walk out. A brother on the worship team started singing this, and I paused right at the door. Stopped by God's presence and felt God holding me up. I'll never forget that day. Evertime I hear this, it reminds me of that day, when Jesus heard my cry.

My Mom would have loved this song, She has been with our lord and Savior some 34 years to us. Time has no real meaning in Heaven I believe. So many of my loved ones are there with her. Many of these also had a testimony of Loving Our Lord and Savior, and some I just barely knew or remember. I hope so many of my family and friends come to know Him as Lord and Savior also. To know His love and patience and longsuffering towards those that know and even don't know Him, yet "God is not willing any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." So He gave His only Begotten son to heal our relationship with Him and provide the perfect Sacrificial Lamb to pay the debt we couldn't pay. Some day I will be so glad to bow before my Lord and King and finally see the face of the God who showed such love for me and the World. The debt is paid just believe accept and Repent of your sins to become a child of the King!

Obviously, Ruth Graham was a driving force behind the Family, conducting them all to Leadership, Love of Family.................Love of the LORD-JESUS, THEIR/OUR SAVIOR. It says in the bible to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. When I'm feeling pain about something, I remind God of His word and ask Him to take the pain and He carries me through it every time, often taking the pain away immediately. Whatever it is you are going through, whether it be mental pain or physical pain or a difficult situation, He carried it on the cross. You just have to trust Him with it. Thank you Jesus for taking it all onto yourself 2,000 years ago. I love you always and forever.

I think as a christian when i pray , whole heaven will pray becouse if we are body and one bodypart is suffering why we dont go and try to heal it. God knows everything and i have tried to make some improvement. In one month i go 2 weeks- Russia awake action from Finland. I remember when momma let this world. I had tearful talks with her before she passed. I told her "momma it is okay..we are okay. It is alright you can now go now to Jesus..you kids and grandchildren will be okay..I know it true because that is what you taught me. As promised I am taking carry of Kathy..you charged me with that responsibility..and I am doing as your and Christ asked. I miss you terribly but I pray that I will be with you in Heaven when my time comes. For some reason this song has special meaning..maybe because of brother Billy Graham and all his inspirational, Biblical messages. I came here right after finding out the passing of Billy Graham. I just wanted to be reminded what's more important in life. I was like that too, thinking I am worthless and insignificant in His eyes. I have done so many sins against Him and am still now. But He will always remind me that I am still important to Him just like any child He has. He loves the sinner but hates the sin. At the end I prayed to Him seeking forgiveness and thanking Him that He still loves us all and never forgets those who love Him. My friend don't forget that because you are not alone. He hears You when you cry in prayer and He knows you are broken-hearted. He will never fail nor forsake you! So lay all your burden on Him and He will give you rest. We can make them stop in Jesus name. I hear the lies that I'm a loser and worthless all the time. So I either beat myself up about it even when I didn't do anything wrong to let Him down, or turn to thanking Him instead. I still get beat up, but I think it's just the D-evil trying to limit my prayers because our prayers limit him. See how he hid his own personna in his name... Jesus is crazy about you! I have engraved you on the palms of my hands and your walls are ever before me. Isaiah 49:16. He knows the very number of hairs upon our heads. He knows the words we are about to say before we even think them, much less speak them. Does this sound like a God who would ever forget us? Satan is just trying to steal your joy by reminding you that you are not worthy. After all, he is the father of lies. Here's the thing though - we CAN'T be and never WILL be worthy. If we were, we would not have needed Jesus. Jesus was the only person without any sin. Grace is when we get something we don't deserve. Nobody "deserves" to be saved and loved and forgiven. Not a single one of us. We are human so we all mess up and we all fall short of His glory. If we deserved his love and his mercy, it wouldn't be grace. God doesn't want you to be perfect because He knows you can't be. He just wants you to love him and try your best. He knows your heart and he knows when you're really trying. His loving kindness and tender mercies are new EVERY morning so whatever we did yesterday is dead and gone. If you repent and truly mean it in your hearts, let it go. The Bible says that when He forgives us, He forgets our sins. Well, if He doesn't remember them, why should we?
Faith without action is only a lie, love that is unspoken will fade away and die. Neither could be said of Billy and Ruth. Though they're gone home ,we can take to heart the truth they lived by. When it's all said and done "give me Jesus"!!!

I'm Catholic and I love this song so much during this Catholic retreat I went to they played this song during Chapel time which is when we really open up to one another at our table. Chapel time was right after my talk that I gave on prayer. When it was my turn to share how the retreat was affecting me so far and what has been on my heart and what's been going on in my life I went i into detail on how my terminal illnesses are progressing and that my folks are really having a hard time caring for me especially since I move into a little catholic Village for those with health problems. And due to other circumstances This lady that I am close to at our table knows me well so this Retreat we got to know each other more and more on a whole new level. When she saw the fear coming out and when I said that I know that when it's God's time to get me it's time for me to go I am still really scared for that day right now she reached her arm out for me and gave me her shoulder to lean on since I really opened up I began to weep and that whole time she embraced me with a securing hug and let me lean on her shoulder and while she was hugging me she was praying prayers over me in Arabic and then the rest of my table members gathered around me and just started hugging me as I was leaning on her shoulder this other lady that was sitting on my other side put her hands on me and prayed over me in Aramaic. The person that I I'm really close to the one that gave me a shoulder to lean on told me this. Don't forget I used to be a nurse in Lebanon I may be retired now but from now on I will be your nurse. Don't Be Afraid Anymore. I will help you with everything. from eating solid food and Tube feedings and breathing treatments all the way to your IVs your shot when you go on nighttime oxygen if you need someone to go with you to the store or to the doctors for tests and appointments whenever you're admitted into the hospital for two weeks or more due to all the treatments you have to receive I will stay the entire duration of your hospital stay I will stay there with you I will not leave your bedside. I will even get a cot in order to lay next to you. And whenever it is time for you to go be with God I will be that person to Hold Your Hand as you go to a better place. if you need someone to take you out for your daily walks and exercises to keep you healthier or at night if you need a calming voice to hear do to your severe breathing episodes or if you're really scared or your health is giving you so much trouble and you want someone to accompany you I will be moving closer to you so anytime you need me I will come and stay the night with you and pray with you. From now on I will be your Jesus and your Mary. The other lady that was sitting next to me used to be a home health care nurse and she told me that if the first person I talked about isn't available at any time she will come and help me. And the rest of my table Partners said that they will always be available to chat to pray with. this girl in her twenties that's in the church choir with me told me that whenever I'm feeling up to it and whenever she's not busy that she will take me to Daily Mass and every other Sunday she'll take me out for lunch. This other lady told me that whenever she's around she's call me and see if I want to go to the Adoration Chapel in the village I live in and she would be happy to take me. And this guy who was at my table told me that whenever he's not working and as long as he doesn't have anything going on I can just call and we can go hang out we can go do whatever I want he jokingly said we could even go to the bar and have a few drinks I laughed and I told him I'm not 21 just yet I'll be 21 next year. And the lady that I'm really close to said no drinking for you mister in a joking manner. All of my table members told me that when it is time for me to go be with God they will all be at my bedside. the girl that is in choir with me told the lady that I'm really really close to that I don't know how you do it but whatever his health is flaring up or whenever he is scared you are the person that calms his fears. our Retreat leader came to tell us that chapel time was almost up but she could see the beautiful moment we were all having together and she let us be in Chapel time for another 5 minutes. That wonderful time took place 2 months ago and ever since that lady I'm super close to from Lebanon has really taken the position of being my nurse to Heart. My table Partners all have the feeling that this was the first time my health really got to me and they all told me that if I need anything I just have to call and one of them will be there

Fernando is so heartfelt with his music. When I listen to him, I feel like he opens a direct channel to heaven. Granted, we all have direct access to Jesus, but Fernando helps break down the walls with his music so I can focus on Christ and my faith.

Ruth Graham was my sunday school teacher at Montreat Anderson College in 75. I had the priviledge of doing the worship music each Sunday, before her teaching. She later asked me to do some mission work for her. A part of who i am is because of the Jesus i saw in her. I will never never forget that time in my life.... i miss her.
My wife says that if she doesn't start off with Jesus in the morning, it's not a good day. Jesus , the Holy Spirit and God, are the most important people, in the entire world. God loved us so much that he gave his only Son. If we admit, believe and commit to Jesus, we'll go on with Him to eternity.
I played this song for my daughter as she lay dying. She was unconscious, but I choose to believe that we both received comfort.

I saw Fernando perform this live in 2001 a few days after 9/11. It was pretty much like this rendition, except no guitar or cello, just Fernando playing the grand piano. It was the closing song in his set. When he was done the auditorium was absolutely silent, stunned. There was no applause because it just didn't seem right. What a moment. That night was awesome, because Twila Paris was the featured performer. She closed with "God Is In Control", which lifted us all up in light of 9/11.

What an amazing woman to release her husband to travel and do what God called him to do. Which meant she had the burden of raising their children mostly alone and run the household. Wow.

This song touches me on several levels. First, I've followed Billy Graham for many years. Second, my father just passed away at age 90. He was a devout Christian. So the first verse reminds me of how he started his day. He was "alone" for 27 years after my mother passed away, so the second verse grabs me. And of course the third verse hits me hard. My consolation is that he is now reunited with his wife in heaven, and he has been given Jesus face-to-face.

In 2012 I was hit a chronic panic disorder and I was already in Christ for like 7 years. It just came out of nowhere. Panic attacks everyday along with migraines. And I was at weakest point where I wanted to just walk away from God permanently. I was in church which was really hard for at the time. I panicked and I was getting ready to walk out. A brother on the worship team started singing this, and I paused right at the door. Stopped by God's presence and felt God holding me up. I'll never forget that day. Evertime I hear this, it reminds me of that day, when Jesus heard my cry.

My Mom would have loved this song, She has been with our lord and Savior some 34 years to us. Time has no real meaning in Heaven I believe. So many of my loved ones are there with her. Many of these also had a testimony of Loving Our Lord and Savior, and some I just barely knew or remember. I hope so many of my family and friends come to know Him as Lord and Savior also. To know His love and patience and longsuffering towards those that know and even don't know Him, yet "God is not willing any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." So He gave His only Begotten son to heal our relationship with Him and provide the perfect Sacrificial Lamb to pay the debt we couldn't pay. Some day I will be so glad to bow before my Lord and King and finally see the face of the God who showed such love for me and the World. The debt is paid just believe accept and Repent of your sins to become a child of the King!

When I'm feeling pain about something, I remind God of His word and ask Him to take the pain and He carries me through it every time, often taking the pain away immediately. Whatever it is you are going through, whether it be mental pain or physical pain or a difficult situation, He carried it on the cross. You just have to trust Him with it. david cully Of course the Lord loves you and He always will. Never tell yourself that He doesn't love you at all because He loves you so much as you would ever imagine! I was like that too, thinking I am worthless and insignificant in His eyes. I have done so many sins against Him and am still now. But He will always remind me that I am still important to Him just like any child He has. He loves the sinner but hates the sin. At the end I prayed to Him seeking forgiveness and thanking Him that He still loves us all and never forgets those who love Him.
My friend don't forget that because you are not alone. He hears You when you cry in prayer and He knows you are broken-hearted. He will never fail nor forsake you! So lay all your burden on Him and He will give you rest.

david cully I feel the same, even though in my heart I know He loves me. He shows me constantly in His cool ways. I believe it's lies from the enemy. He whispers lies into our ears. We can make them stop in Jesus name. I hear the lies that I'm a loser and worthless all the time. So I either beat myself up about it even when I didn't do anything wrong to let Him down, or turn to thanking Him instead. I still get beat up, but I think it's just the D-evil trying to limit my prayers because our prayers limit him. See how he hid his own personna in his name... Jesus is crazy about you! I have engraved you on the palms of my hands and your walls are ever before me. Isaiah 49:16. He knows the very number of hairs upon our heads. He knows the words we are about to say before we even think them, much less speak them. Does this sound like a God who would ever forget us? Satan is just trying to steal your joy by reminding you that you are not worthy. After all, he is the father of lies. Here's the thing though - we CAN'T be and never WILL be worthy. If we were, we would not have needed Jesus. Jesus was the only person without any sin. Grace is when we get something we don't deserve. Nobody "deserves" to be saved and loved and forgiven. Not a single one of us. We are human so we all mess up and we all fall short of His glory. If we deserved his love and his mercy, it wouldn't be grace. God doesn't want you to be perfect because He knows you can't be. He just wants you to love him and try your best. He knows your heart and he knows when you're really trying. His loving kindness and tender mercies are new EVERY morning so whatever we did yesterday is dead and gone. If you repent and truly mean it in your hearts, let it go. The Bible says that when He forgives us, He forgets our sins. Well, if He doesn't remember them, why should we?

I'm Catholic and I love this song so much during this Catholic retreat I went to they played this song during Chapel time which is when we really open up to one another at our table. Chapel time was right after my talk that I gave on prayer. When it was my turn to share how the retreat was affecting me so far and what has been on my heart and what's been going on in my life I went i into detail on how my terminal illnesses are progressing and that my folks are really having a hard time caring for me especially since I move into a little catholic Village for those with health problems. And due to other circumstances This lady that I am close to at our table knows me well so this Retreat we got to know each other more and more on a whole new level. When she saw the fear coming out and when I said that I know that when it's God's time to get me it's time for me to go I am still really scared for that day right now she reached her arm out for me and gave me her shoulder to lean on since I really opened up I began to weep and that whole time she embraced me with a securing hug and let me lean on her shoulder and while she was hugging me she was praying prayers over me in Arabic and then the rest of my table members gathered around me and just started hugging me as I was leaning on her shoulder this other lady that was sitting on my other side put her hands on me and prayed over me in Aramaic. The person that I I'm really close to the one that gave me a shoulder to lean on told me this. Don't forget I used to be a nurse in Lebanon I may be retired now but from now on I will be your nurse. Don't Be Afraid Anymore. I will help you with everything. from eating solid food and Tube feedings and breathing treatments all the way to your IVs your shot when you go on nighttime oxygen if you need someone to go with you to the store or to the doctors for tests and appointments whenever you're admitted into the hospital for two weeks or more due to all the treatments you have to receive I will stay the entire duration of your hospital stay I will stay there with you I will not leave your bedside. I will even get a cot in order to lay next to you. And whenever it is time for you to go be with God I will be that person to Hold Your Hand as you go to a better place. if you need someone to take you out for your daily walks and exercises to keep you healthier or at night if you need a calming voice to hear do to your severe breathing episodes or if you're really scared or your health is giving you so much trouble and you want someone to accompany you I will be moving closer to you so anytime you need me I will come and stay the night with you and pray with you. From now on I will be your Jesus and your Mary. The other lady that was sitting next to me used to be a home health care nurse and she told me that if the first person I talked about isn't available at any time she will come and help me. And the rest of my table Partners said that they will always be available to chat to pray with. this girl in her twenties that's in the church choir with me told me that whenever I'm feeling up to it and whenever she's not busy that she will take me to Daily Mass and every other Sunday she'll take me out for lunch. This other lady told me that whenever she's around she's call me and see if I want to go to the Adoration Chapel in the village I live in and she would be happy to take me. And this guy who was at my table told me that whenever he's not working and as long as he doesn't have anything going on I can just call and we can go hang out we can go do whatever I want he jokingly said we could even go to the bar and have a few drinks I laughed and I told him I'm not 21 just yet I'll be 21 next year. And the lady that I'm really close to said no drinking for you mister in a joking manner. All of my table members told me that when it is time for me to go be with God they will all be at my bedside. the girl that is in choir with me told the lady that I'm really really close to that I don't know how you do it but whatever his health is flaring up or whenever he is scared you are the person that calms his fears. our Retreat leader came to tell us that chapel time was almost up but she could see the beautiful moment we were all having together and she let us be in Chapel time for another 5 minutes. That wonderful time took place 2 months ago and ever since that lady I'm super close to from Lebanon has really taken the position of being my nurse to Heart. My table Partners all have the feeling that this was the first time my health really got to me and they all told me that if I need anything I just have to call and one of them will be there
