@@MiniatureRealms Thank you, that’s much appreciated! I’m not sure if it would have come up in your notifications or not but likewise, I subscribed! Because I was such a Dredd fan, it was that GW Judge Dredd RPG that introduced me to tabletop gaming so I’ll always be grateful to 2000AD for that as well as the amazing stories! I’m looking forward to seeing more of your stunning minis, cheers again for sharing!
I picked up the “I Am The Law” set at a convention last year. Haven’t played any previous games but I loved the comic books and both of the movies for different reasons. Haven’t done anything with the models so far but they are on my list of things to eventually get to work on
I’m hoping it will be a fun small project that can happily sit in the cabinet until I fancy a game, at least it’s only a small addition to the pile of shame/opportunity. 😅
Nice painting and I have the original box set along with loads of the figures. I find the actual game to be a bit dull though, I used What a Cowboy instead of the Warlord rules and enjoyed it far more! But each to their own, innit? I did find it needed a proper QRS and I made one that I posted in the files section of the BGG page for the game.
Only skimmed through the rules so far, not sure I will ever play it regularly enough for it to be a huge issue. I may even be tempted to use the minis to play the RPG again.
I played the 1st edition role playing game from GW, I'm sure I still have it along with a lot of the original metal miniatures somewhere in my piles of shame in the garage. Great job on the ganger, I'll be interested to see how you paint the judges.
Figure looks great as usual, had a look at the game on the Warlord stand at the weekend, and I’m not overly thrilled by the figures in general. Felt the same for the Slaine figures as well. Couldn’t quite put my finger on it, they feel a bit dated design/proportion wise maybe. While I remember you should give something Starwars a go......maybe?
Some of the range definitely has some call backs to the old GW minis, not sure how much of the old Mongoose range is still there. I’m always tempted by Star Wars, so maybe one day.
Nice vid and thanks for posting. I've been tempted for ages but I'm a little put off by the minis. They look detailed but are a bit flat. If they were metal I'd be all in.
Some seem to have a bit of an ‘old school’ type of flatness, they’re very much designed that way I think. I think the older Mongoose range was in metal, you might be able to find them still.
@@MiniatureRealms I take it back. Bought it. Great fun to paint and they look pretty good. Look fwd to your dredd tutorial and Fatties at War if you get them
Glad you’re happy with them. I had a good close up look at all the studio miniatures when I was up at Open Day, they’re fantastic. Dredd is definitely planned in at some point in the next few weeks, and the Fatties look fun, so I might have to grab some to paint.
Looks great Stu. Not got any judge dress miniatures although always thought they looked great with the terrain.. Never say never but too much still to paint at the moment. As usual your vids are full of great info, techniques and inspire me always. Watch out for my final Nam 15mm vlog which will hit this weekend. Then new project Scottish war of independence in 15mm will start all in……..Loose 🛡️⚔️🎪🏹😜🤓
Yep it’s been something that I’ve been thinking about, I don’t want to spend loads of money and time. I’ve got a kit that will provide some, but definitely need more.
Great video! This game doesn’t get enough attention so it’s always great to see other channels flying the flag for it! ~ Gordon
Thank you Gordon 🙂
I’ve just checked out your channel as well, just subscribed, loads of stuff I’m looking forward to watching.

Love the game and theme of Judge Dredd. I really wish they were hard plastic though, so would be easier for conversions. Nice paint work!
Would be really nice wouldn’t it, sadly I just don’t think they sell that much of it, definitely not enough to invest in plastics.
judge dredd is not A law man
he IS THE LAW *iconic Stalone Dredd voice* xD
🙂

Cool video! I've been looking at these miniatures for a potential Stargrave warband.
That’s a very good idea, the gang members could be used for loads of stuff.
Cool looking models! Paint job looks great keep up the great work!
Thank you 🙂

I think you’re sitting on a goldmine if you have the citadel originals, very collectible.
Great video👍 iam going to ask my family for that as a Christmas gift to myself 😁
Perfect present 🎁
Good stuff, I had all the old GW games. Unfortunately, I only have the board game left.
I wish I never got rid of my RPG box 😕
@@MiniatureRealms A common regret for lots of us. What were we thinking?

Thank you Stevie, and I’ll definitely keep an eye out for your latest video.
I painted mine black and white like the comics
Love that idea
The problem with the setting is terrain that is believable and which stores easily , like the flesh tomes on your model.

This is the case for most skirmish scifi games and why I think 6mm battle games is actually the true practical minatures wargame.
