Not true - sin can be in the thoughts or sins of omission! Jesus said whoever looks at another woman with lust commits adultery!

The point was the temptation isn't the sin. Also, remember Jesus was telling Old Covenant people in the Old Covenant that even if they thought doing the Ten Commandments made them good enough that it didnt--because He was forecasting His total sinless life which would fulfill the stipulations of the Old Covenant so He could initiate the New Covenant to replace it.

I never heard the word temptation!

You heard one sentence out of context, and instead of asking to learn you defended a straw man argument. It's OK, many people make the same mistake.
The idea is active interaction with the temptation makes it a sin. In the example you made, it is not the temptation thought of looking sinfully, as all are tempted, even Christ. Instead, it is the willful interaction with the sinful action or thought. That is obvious and commonly understood.
Listen to Lake's point in context and you will see that it harmonize with that idea. His point is entirely different however, and a good one, if you choose to discern it.
