  • Hello, dear friends!
THANK YOU FOR 18K SUBSCRIBERS!! This video is meant to be a thank you for 10K, but we've jumped to 18K just a week later!! Your love and support mean the world to me and I want to thank each and every single one of you individually!! But seeing as that’s simply not feasible, I am, instead, doing a well-deserved giveaway!
Comment something positive about yourself below. It can be a highlight of your week, an accomplishment big or small! Or maybe something happy just in general. On Monday, I will go through the comments and randomly pick someone to receive a specimen frame and a handwritten letter from me!
Thank you again and again, a thousand times over!
    Big big big hugs,
    Morgan

This week I decided to take my life back in my hands. To stop listening to my family. I have been studying the GRE and looking into graduate schools. I am also looking for jobs that will allow me to move out on my own and provide for myself. I have been reading more and overall finding gratitude in every day. It has been an eye opening week for me. Feels great and your videos have helped me come in tune with my original self before covid and being stuck with my family at home. So thank you for your kindness and motivation ❤

My positive message: one thing my momma taught me from a young age is to find excitement in the little things. I’m so grateful for this lesson because I truly believe this is a key factor to feeling content with who you are / where you are. I love embracing the happiness I feel when smelling a new book.. or visiting a new place. Hearing a bird’s sing-song in the morning. Feeling the rain soak your jacket! Many wondrous, beautiful things get overlooked, so I love to try and take the time to pay close attention!
Also, ahhh!! I’m not sure if that was my name listed at 10:20, but nonetheless, it brought me so much excitement! Thank you Morgan ☺️🥰 sending love!

a highlight of my week happened today. I was working out and my six year old son said he was going to read to me while I work out. It was the most treasured moment to hear his little voice reading the words on the page. My heart burst.

Dear Morgan, I found your channel a couple weeks ago and started watching from the beginning. Your videos make me feel so light and happy on the days I'm really going through it with depression. You help remind me daily that this is temporary and it will be okay, I will be okay. I love that you repeat it as reassurance. You are such a beautiful soul and remind me of a Disney princess, thank you for sharing your life with us. I can't wait to keep watching💗

Since the lockdown started in the UK we have been celebrating all the birthdays on our street. My sister and I have been drawing messages out of chalk outside our neighbours houses and as a street we have come together to sing the happy birthday in the morning. This week one of our kindest neighbours had their birthday. So, my sister and I got all the kids on the street to help us create a wonderful (although slightly chaotic) piece of art. In the morning we all stood outside her house with various musical instruments ranging from recorders and trumpets to ukuleles and accordions to play happy birthday. Although the pandemic has been really hard for many people I have enjoyed seeing communities come together and bring joy to peoples lives. It has been really lovely.

I had a birthday in lockdown too. Some people on my road wrote a massive sign in chalk outside my house. It was only a small gesture but was the highlight of my day. I absolutely love that your whole street gets involved. I wish I was there to witness it!! Thank you for doing such an amazing thing, I know the impact it has on someone. Luckily, as I turned 18, I live with my parents and sister still, but I know there's so many people living alone that would have really appreciated that. Hope you are doing okay in these unfortunate circumstances, I can tell that you are the ray of light in other people's lives. - Em

I could have CRIED when I saw my username on the screen. I was so giddy I clapped! haha. Your post college struggles feel so similar to my own and I needed that pep talk so badly. I think I'll order the book that you shared and see what comes of it. Thank you for sharing and encouraging. And those specimen frames are so cute!!! A recent happy thing in my life is that I have become more comfortable trying out new recipes in the kitchen, particularly sweets! I have had a lot of limiting beliefs about my abilities as a cook but I have practiced being more forgiving and have recently made creme brulee, peach cobbler, and am excited to try out crepes soon! Both dishes did not turn out perfect but I'm not beating myself up because they still tastes incredible haha. Washington, USA :)

That readathon made me click *subscribe*. You are such a calm, positive person and your videos calm me down. I usually put on your videos when I cook, write lesson plans or just after stressful day at work. The magical combination of music, positivity and overall energy of your videos make the stress go away. At least for a little while.
I had a VERY stressful day at work this Thursday and had a big what-am-i-doing-with-my-life crisis moment when I got home. I cried it out, snuggled my cats, put on Howl's Moving Castle and realised later that I have *SO* many things in life to be grateful for, small, but important things. Which is exactly the lesson you give to all of us watching your videos.

Hello Morgan and all! Something positive that I look forward to everyday is book tube! I have come home from work (at my relatively new job, which I'm no good at, and struggle daily with) and watch my favorite booktubers. Yep, every single evening and I love these people for sharing their favorite reads, things, and lives. They are the escape that I definitely need and lean on right now! I'd like to extend my gratitude to you Morgan, for your honesty and vulnerability sharing your post-grad experience. You know when you read a book and you feel like the author is talking directly to you? That's exactly how I felt as you shared your daily post-grad struggles. I know this phase of life can be challenging, but your video has made me feel so much lighter and less alone! I can not thank you enough, good tears my friend, good tears! So excited for you as your channel grows, can't wait for more.

Totally relate to that feeling of post-grad uncertainty - the end of education feels like such a surreal experience because everything you're used to is over and suddenly a whole world of possibilities are open to you! However, your RUclips channel and watching it grow has been such a ray of sunshine for me, especially during this quarantine period! Sending all the good vibes over to you in the PNW and thanks for being such a light!

I discovered your channel a week or so ago and I've been watching your videos nearly everyday since! The intent and care you give to your space, loved ones, video editing, etc etc is evident, and has brought me a little more joy and insight into my own daily routines. I watched one of your videos with my mom, and she commented how interesting it is to see how other people carry out actions and habits, even in something as simple as making tea. Although we live on opposite sides of the country (I'm in Ohio) and live out different lives, it is an incredible thing to be able to feel connected like that across the internet, especially in this period of fear and isolation that is gripping the world.
Anyways... a positive highlight is that social distancing has provided me SO much more time to read, which has resulted in me reconnecting with the booktube community. I am partaking in this weeks Reading Rush and I could not be more excited!!

I recently got diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, so life has been rough, BUT I’m finally (very slowly) learning how to relive my life. I'm so sorry to hear that your life has been upheaved in such a troubling way. Sooo many of us take our health for granted (myself included). You've already pointed out that it's up to you to choose every day whether it's worth living. We all have this choice but you're so much more aware of it now--I hope that in time,
living with diabetes helps you make the most of everyday and, therefore, becomes more of a blessing than a curse. I hope that's not annoying to hear right now...I'm sure you're getting it a lot. Just know, that I hope the very best for you friend ❤️

Thank you for sharing your story. It truly resonated with me. My highlight from this week is that today I applied for a job! A small victory, who knows if it will go anywhere, but a big step for me. I finished uni last year, and this was supposed to be my year. My graduation was cancelled one week out. The company I wanted to work at shut down. I went into lockdown with my chaotic (but loving) little family and got nothing productive done. When the lockdown ended (I live in New Zealand where we are now mostly Covid-free, thankfully), all my family and friends slowly returned to school/uni/work. But I didn't. I struggled to get out of bed every day. I scrolled through job listings and became so discouraged; I couldn't find the will to apply for anything.
Today I finally did! Maybe tomorrow I will again. My life is my own and I want to live it! It's a long, hard road, but it's one worth walking.

    Hello, Morgan!
I discovered your RUclips channel on Wednesday, and I just finished all of your posted RUclips videos from the very beginning. I became so excited and inspired when I discovered your channel. The first video I found was your three book readathon episode, and being an avid reader myself, I became overjoyed to find a RUclipsr who shared that passion. I do not commonly comment on social media, but I want to tell you that I have never watched ALL of the videos of one person’s channel, but your content, peacefulness, and inspiration really moved me, and I feel that I discovered your channel exactly when I needed to. Thank you for sharing your life with us, and truly making this world a better place with your positive energy.
Something that is a highlight of my life right now is the fact that I decided to quit my job of six years to move to Spain and teach English (hopefully the boarders open up again soon). I’ve been feeling excited about this, but also extremely nervous, but I wanted to include, even if I can’t move soon, I decided to still quit my job because it is now something that should be behind me. I really related to when you talked about the first job you had when you moved to Portland, and I want to follow in your bravery.
Thank you for the positive messages you send out, and for creating extremely calming and inspiring content.
I raise my tea mug to YOU.
    Thank you.

Yay, Morgan!! What an accomplishment- 17,000 subscribers now, and still growing! SO Awesome.Thank you for sharing the story of how it all came to be. 😊
The highlight of my week has been spending some wonderful one on one time with my daughter, who will be a college freshman, and leaving “the nest” all too soon. We’ve shopped for dorm accessories, laughed over lunch, sat by the pool, taken walks...I’m savoring every last second with her, and trying to stay as positive as she has through everything. It’s hard for this mama’s heart, but often our children are our best teachers. ❤️

Though the competition has ended I still want to write a little bit since you inspired me!
I found joy this week from travelling. I live in Yorkshire UK and I adore driving over to the lakes district, it’s not too far and certainly my dream location (A house with a view of both a lake and mountain that is!). The landscape is so familiar yet I yearn to learn it. The trees feel like they have so much energy (probably because it rains 200/365 days a year) and I have a calling to stay and listen. It’s a home away from home! I want to stay and get to know the shortcuts, the hills, the best spots to swim, the perfect cafe and the blooms in spring. I feel so creative when I go for hikes and I feel very lucky to be here to experience it. It’s certainly made all the better under a hot summer sun, sweet heather nectar and salty sun cream!
I have a personal goal to make a sort of art hiking book about different mountains. I’m going onto my final year in art school so I may just make it in my free time in the studios. That seems really fun to me.
Hmm and I suppose another bit of joy I got was going shopping by myself. I had a good long look through book shops and found a really nice dress in a charity shop. I don’t often buy things (all that being mindful of what I own kind of thing) so it feels quite special to get something ‘new’. Plus I don’t often go shopping alone so it was a lot fun to do another lil challenge. Every success no matter how big leads to more opportunities, which then leads to more success!

I relate to this so much. When I graduated with a BA in English Lit I didn't think I would be able to find a job so I did the logical thing and went into the teaching program. I liked the idea of teaching but just wasn't good in the classroom (discipline). Shortly after getting a FT job (replaced a favorite teacher mid-year) I started having panic attacks everytime the bell rang. After three weeks I just had to throw in the towel - after all that work to get there! I had to take care of myself and my health. I got another job that was okay but just wasn't me. I went back to school and got an AA in Graphic Design. I really loved graphics but mostly wanted to design stuff for myself. So now I'm back in another assistant job. I feel like I'm 47 and still waiting for my career to start. So my spark is that I love to do craft stuff - sew, crochet, scrapbook. I've taken this crazy year (actually started in 2019) and am learning to make bags/purses/totes. I would love to turn that into a business but just can't visualize how I could charge what I would need to in order to make it my FT gig. But maybe it can be a combination of things. So right now I'm following my heart and doing what I love without knowing where it will lead me. It's just so hard to let go and trust. I'm going to get that book to read! Thanks for sharing your story!

I love your videos, I watch them when I’m feeling down or when I am bored or sometimes when I’m falling asleep because I get nervous when there is no sound in my room and your videos are so peaceful! One thing that has brought me joy this week is hanging out with my friend Tarin, I know she has been struggling with somethings lately so knowing I get to see her after months of quarantine is amazing. Knowings she’s happy makes me happy and she brings me joy! One other thing that’s brings me joy that I want to do more is having more time away from my phone whether it’s playing my Uke or reading. It’s hard to get away from technology but it’s also super refreshing! Raise a glass! 💕

I've never commented on a video before, but here we are! I have been very ill for a few months, not knowing what was wrong, not understanding why my body wasn't doing all the things it used to be able to do. I was recently diagnosed with something that has answered some questions, but it's still up in the air whether I can attend university in the autumn. Secondary education has been something I've been waiting for for what seems like my whole life, and the idea of not being able to go for the foreseeable future is a tad bit frightening. This video showed just how wise you are and I'm probably twice your age. I have had many incredible accomplishments in my life, have a wonderful life, and am very grateful. The highlight of my week was when my husband was giving my very long hair a 1/2" trim but beforehand mistakenly cut a 7" clump off and we watched it slowly fall to the floor. I graduated this spring and I have no idea what I want to do. Watching your videos has been so comforting to me and inspired me to pick up books again. I wish I could have a long conversation with you about books, video work, tea and so much more. Thank you for being a light in my life, love from the Midwest ❤️

Love yourself as best you can between now and then, everything will work out, everything will be okay ❤️

🧡 💚 💙 💛 💜 ❤️ Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful gifts with the world! Whether it's your love of books, your super cozy and comforting videos, or your bright, bubbly personality. Congrats on reaching over 10k subscribers! I moved to a new city in Australia with my partner (who is in the military) and had a really tough time settling into a new way of life away from family and friends. I can relate to so much of your story so far, especially being in a job that makes you feel less alive, and wanting to follow your own path and passions - but not wanting to disappoint anyone for choosing the path less travelled. You've inspired me to follow my own path and rediscover the simple joys that make me happy and content each and every day. Thank you from the very bottom of my heart ❤️

Hey ❤️ my highlight was as follows...with all the craziness of the world my faith in humanity was restored...I was at work, I work at a veterinary clinic, a very distraught lady appeared in our clinic clinging tightly to a blanket, inside was her beloved dog, dying, very old and she had decided to let her go and end the months of suffering. I got her moved into a room to begin the grim process, unbeknownst to her another client sat quietly in the waiting area observing all of this and as the lady got moved into a room, she went to the front desk and completely paid for her visit as well as private cremation, which I might add is not cheap. When the lady came out of the room, the other lady was long gone and wanted nothing more but to send her condolences...there are good people out there and this was just the reminder I needed...this was definitely the highlight of my week, month and possibly year! Congratulations on 10,000❤️

I don't know how long I've been watching your videos, because I've binged watched most of them. One thing for sure though, is everytime I watch them I feel a sense of appreciation. You remind me to slow down and take in the world around me. You inspire me see the beauty in it all and you also inspire me to pick up my camera more, my book more, and to bake more. These are the small things in life that bring me the most joy, so all I can simply say is thank you so very much.

This is so exciting!! A well deserved 18K following👏 My happy moment for today was finding out that I had featured in the newspaper for an article about the bookstore that I work in! Our store has had amazing success in sales and so an article was written about our story and I was the cover image for the article! I was so excited to not only have my dream job but to be in the newspaper for it also!! All my friends and family saw it and have been sending such lovely messages all day, which is so beautiful and such an incredible reminder of the amazing and supportive people I have in my life. Feeling so incredibly blessed today. I hope everyone gets to experience the type of joy I have experienced today🎉❤

Hi Morgan! I discovered your channel only a couple of days ago. On the first night, I watched a couple of videos and immediately decided to subscribe. At first, I enjoyed the simple atmosphere your videos had and as a musician, I really loved the use of classical music in your videos. But if I'm being honest, I was really inspired by how much time you made for reading. It was then that I had a light bulb moment and realized that I hadn't been making time for myself. I just recently finished my first year of university and found it hard. The stress surrounding that and COVID made me realize that I wasn't reading as much as I used to. Your videos inspired me to make a master reading list and write down all the books I want to read before the end of this year. Congratulations on reaching 10,000 subscribers. I have no doubt that you'll continue to inspire others as you've inspired me. Finding your channel was the highlight of my week. Thank you for everything; wishing you all the best in all your future endeavours❤️ Love from Toronto🇨🇦

I love your videos so much! I am a pianist studying piano performance and I teach, but I’ve gone several months of not being able to sit at a piano without having a panic attack, and this week I was able to sit down and practice and enjoy it. It was the first time in so long that I have actually felt like I was able to do what I’ve been working so hard at for ten years. Your videos are such an encouragement to me, they are a calming light in my life. Thank you💝

Hi Morgan! My name is Jackie and I’m writing from New York! A positive moment from this week was finally going to my favorite bookstore after months of it being closed.
I came by your videos months ago before quarantine of you going to Powell’s. At the time it had been years since I’ve read a book for my own enjoyment. When I was younger I used to love reading and that feeling you get when nothing around you matters, and it’s just you and the story. I was stuck up with school and working all the time that I had lost that part of myself. I want to say thank you for making your videos they truly brighten up my day and they gave me back the love of reading.

Yesterday I decided to finally get out of my comfort zone and I went to a local yoga class at a nearby park. (I wore my mask to and from and we all practiced social distancing!) I used to love doing yoga, it brought me so much joy when me and my sister would go to the gym together when she lived here and we discovered yoga together. I have been so afraid to put myself out there, to be in nature, and to experience my life with great joy. When we practiced yoga, I felt how stiff my body had become after months of sitting at my desk to both work and study. I am ready to find joy like this again, to begin loving myself, to begin bettering myself, to be a part of nature - it’s been calling to me more than ever before. Your videos spark this inspiration and I am so very happy to see you succeed in something that brings you so much happiness. Thank you so much, you have no idea how much light you bring to the world 💞

    • @MorganLong
      @MorganLong  4 года назад +1

Ahhh, thank you so so so much, friend! I love this comment! My most ideal version of myself would be an expert yogi and long-distance runner. I'm neither of those things. But I run a mile and stretch everyday. By the end of the year, I'll be able to say I ran 365 miles, which may be more than many long-distance runners! And hopefully in stretching everyday, I can work up the flexibility and strength to actually properly practice yoga. I find that at the point when we've made the most progress, and our discipline is about to be turned into effortless habit, it becomes hardest to continue. It's like one final test before the ultimate reward. I hope this time around, your yoga practice becomes a habit, or at least a part of your day you continue to look forward to✨

My positive experience lately has definitely come from getting back in touch with nature. I graduated and went through a break up last summer so felt incredibly lost and directionless as we had planned to live abroad, I definitely relate to your post-grad struggles. I debated a masters degree, but accepted a job (in publishing that I love) in London in February after living in the countryside my whole life. I commuted from the countryside for a month but the pandemic has meant I've had to work from home since March. Over these past few months I've appreciated nature more than ever! I feel so lucky to have found a job I love while being surrounded by the beautiful countryside! I've also just loved a slower pace of life without a commute, I've been able to enjoy the little things like slow mornings with tea and a book or long lunches in the garden. Also, your videos are beautiful, they make me want visit Portland every time! (p.s I live in the UK).

You are such a sweet soul and have deeply moved me and inspired me to improve my healthy habits and live more peacefully. Thank you 💕

Thursday was a holiday in my country. It meant a day to celebrate to many devoted followers of La Virgen del Carmen, and a day off to my students. I’m a teacher. I teach the third and fifth grade. A day off means relaxation to many people. Not to me. This day off was a curse and a blessing at the same time. I didn’t have to connect with my students to our daily video call lessons, so I had time to do other work that the school needed from me. And I spent at leats 9 hours sitting in front of the computer, I was miserable and drained, and I had totally forgotten that my dear friends and I had made an appointment to meet through a video call to celebrate a friend whose birthday had been on Monday. So I wrapped up my work, feeling satisfied with everything that I was able to complete. I talk to my friends until late into the night (for me, 10 pm is very late), and I felt sad all of the sudden, becaude I hadn’t spent any time with my partner, who had been all through out that day very attentive to me, asking me if I needed help and checking on me regurlarly. He had a day off too. I knew he wanted to spend time with me. I told my friends I wanted to spend some time with him and I left them. I sat next to him on the couch and we talked, and I don’t remember about what, but it was fun and it was our moment. It was short, but it didn’t felt like that. I was very grateful, at that moment, of him, of having his company, love and support. That was the best moment of my Thursday and was the most positive thing of that entire day.

Thank you for this. I graduated in May and I am struggling to find my way. It can be discouraging at times to not have a job, not have have my "path" or my "future" figured out, especially during the pandemic when the job market is rough. But the more I hear advice like this I realize that it's ok to not have everything figured out. Time is on my side and I am taking the time to apply to jobs, try not to stress, and focus on my hobbies and what I love. Things are definitely stressful but I know I can make it through this tough time and come out stronger than ever. Thank you!

Earlier this year, I developed a crush on a guy. I gave my effort into the friendship but I didn’t receive what I wanted. I even lost a friend out of the situation. It broke my heart and to this day the wounds are still healing. Every time I think or talk about it, I get emotional because I gave my love to someone that didn’t show any back. I have realized that I love that I will give love to someone and not be worrying if they will give it back. Ever since this, I have been focusing on myself and learning things along the way about myself that I love.

This video made me cry so much. I am 25, just graduated - as you Morgan I studied languages - and discovered that this would lead me to almost nothing (plus I live in Italy, here joung people have almost no opportuinities or job applications available). And what scares me the most is to be unable to do what I truly want to do. I know I want to live with the spirit of a child, that wonder that makes every little thing special. But how... I am feeling quite hopeless, I have no job (the ones available are impossible for me to do or simply terrible to do), I can't live by myself or with my boyfriend because we can't even afford renting a house and I have a true passion for animals and nature, but can't study it at uni or work in this field because 1. no skills, 2. no job opportunities available here. I feel STUCK. I am so sorry for writing this big comment here, but I felt like needing to talk about it and maybe someone could relate. That being said, thank you for this video Mo, it still gave me a little hope! And I'm so happy that your dream has now come true, you deserve it (and I secretly hope one day I could make content like yours, that can remember people to live joyfully!) Thank you

The highlight of my week has been beginning to write my master's thesis, which is the first step in dropping out of my PhD program! It doesn't sound like a happy accomplishment, but realizing that I don't actually want to finish my doctorate and stay in academia was a BIG moment for me, since it's what I've been working towards for >5 years. Instead of being a miserable grad student for 4 more years I'm going to be coming out to my family, moving in with my girlfriend in New England, and pursuing the teaching career I want rather than the academic career that felt most prestigious.

First of all, I just wanted to say that this video could not have come at a better time. Lately I have been struggling with intrusive thoughts, negative mostly, about having no friends or that I don't really know what I want to do with my life (I'm going to be a sophomore in college). I have had several breakdowns and it has not been easy. Although, your videos have become a true light to me, they bring me comfort and give me something to look forward too. I'm glad that I have someone to relate to about feeling stuck in this world. A positive thing that has happened in my life lately is that I just started my new job this week as working as a camp counselor with kids. I am excited to get started, and get to know the people better, & will teach me valuable life lessons. I think that it will be a good outlet if I'm ever feeling stressed, or anxious. I also wanted to mention, when I saw my name on the screen I nearly cried :,) I am so forever grateful that I discovered your channel.

Your excitement is contagious. I am thrilled for you and your RUclips journey. I have considered creating a channel for years now. I have two young children so that has kept me from doing so. (I do not want them on RUclips and it would be difficult to film without them.) YOU are the positive I would like to share. Your content is truly one of a kind. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, ideas and beautiful smile!

This week I focused my energy on my new garden. I started gardening after finding your channel and I absolutely love it.
10k is fun! I can't wait to see your channel continue to grow. You have been a constant light in my life and I know there are so many people that would benefit from your wonderful videos.

Hey Morgan my name is Abigail and I’m from California! One positive thing that happened this week was that I was able to finish a book that surprisingly became one of my favorites - The Leavers by Lisa Ko. It’s always a joy to read, it’s even a bigger joy to find books that becomes favorites!

Whenever I ask people on bookstagram about their fav youtuber, you are always one of theirs. Then I discovered your channel. I now know why they like you. Congrats on your milestone.
Even though Thailand doesn't have many cases of covid at the moment. I think it's better to value ourselves and also care about others as well. We're all humans. We're friends.

I have subscribed this last week after a bit if a binge watch of your channel.
My life has done a huge back flip (lost my job after some significant mental health challenges got in the way) and I am left having to do some rediscovering of who I am and who I want to be. It has felt like I am meeting my true self for the first time, opposed to who I 'should' be. This video is what I needed to watch this morning!
I want to say thank you for your videos, I love books and I love calm music and pretty forests. It has been so good for my soul to watch you and other RUclipsrs as I explore things I love again.
I started writing this during your video - just got to the end and heard the give away, I guess all of the above has been my positive. And I am watching all the way from Australia!
Thank you for all you do.

My positive of the week was the realization of my role as teacher during this COVID pandemic. I have been stressing pretty much all summer about going back to school (fear). I realized I need/must be the normal for my fifth graders! Yes, the school climate and even my teaching will be different, but it’s up to me to give “my” kiddos a positive, nurturing, loving, safe space conducive to learning while instilling the joy of great literature 💜 during these ‘non’ normal times.

This is amazing Janet!! Thank you so so so much for all of your hardwork and dedication to bettering the lives of all the kiddos that come through your doors. I know that with the perspective you've shared, there's no way you can fail to provide the positive, nurturing, loving, and safe space you've described. You're an AMAZING teacher and soon the way through will be clear 💜

Hello from Ohio! Just wanted to say I love your videos and your lovely positivity. One (or few actually) positive thing that happened this week was my sister gave me a little jar of sunflowers she picked up from work. I loved them so much, it inspired me to buy a bouquet of flowers for my mama. The three of us (my sister, mama, and I) have been driving each crazy these past few month with all the uncertainty happening. Giving each other flowers reminded us that we are in this together, forever. I also loved reading all the other comments and hope the positivity keeps flowing for everyone. Thank you!

I love your videos and everything bookish! The high point of my week was navigating stairs without any pain! I had a knee replacement in January and now feel like the sky is the limit, no pain! Your specimen frames are beautiful, displays with natural elements are the best!

This month I decided to restart my youtube channel. I did not know where I wanted to go with it and made peace with the fact that in my current life situation I cannot be making complex videos (due to limited time and energy capacities). That being decided I now am figuring out what's possible and it is a lot of fun. At the same time I am practicing patience, cause I do not reach as many people as I would like to. But I believe that magical things are always on their way to us. Sometimes it just takes time

Morgan!! This video is so touching. What you said you felt the pressure of what was expected of you with continuing education really hit home for me. I was really struggling with if I wanted to continue on after my current degree. I’ve decided I’m going to take a break from education after my Master’s because I’ve realized I need the break, and this video couldn’t have been more reassuring that’s a good idea. But for a positive thing, a family member sent me new tea from a local shop in NY and it’s amazing! I’m also in the US, and I really want to travel to some new places before I have to decide on my location for my job after my Master’s. But I will take a leap of faith, because, like you said, everything is going to be okay. Thank you for being a ray of sunshine! We all raise our tea mugs to you.
