    After some practice you can start using melee only for the first couple of rounds. This saves money for bigger weapons sooner 👍

    • @wezaatzk
      @wezaatzk  2 месяца назад +1

      If your a berserker yes. Any other perk, using your knife to kill gorefines or husks isn't very efficient. It can sort of work on normal difficulty but any higher it's just not that great. I would recommend starting with berserker and changing to the perk you want to play as once you do have enough money.

    • @reaper_redcap
      @reaper_redcap 2 месяца назад

      For sure I agree with that. I was using commando last night on hard, usually get through the first 2 waves, maybe 3 with the pistol for slightly harder zeds.

    I mostly play online and my biggest advice is to just to have some common decency and think about how your actions impact others.
    The main offender i see are demo players, spamming from a safe distance and raging things - you dont realise that you are getting your team killed while you are safely at the back free from the conciquences of your actions.
    If you cant kill a FP before it hits someone then you should be in front so it hits you, if you don't want to risk being hit then you shouldnt shoot/rage them.
    Also FP's calm down/de-rage after they hit someone - so after a hit shop shooting and get some distance, just like how YOU would get some space before engaging them again, shooting when you or another player is close will just re-rage.
    Also if you cant see what you are shooting neither can your team, so spamming with demo/firebug often means no one can help you so you better be able to
    Another recent example is agro swapping, it has its place but if you have 2 sharpshooters, a commando and an RPG demo and you are a medic running up to sc/fp and taking agro and circling them while poisoning them with the healthrower is borderline trolling. Doing next to no damage, making everyone elses lives harder to hit a now raged zig zagging target when they would have otherwise been killed in under a second.
    We were chill and just powered through - but not everyone will and if you are being a net negative to the team there are going to be other people that dont tolerate that and will kick you for trolling like that.
    But this also applies to simple things like just holding the same lane each wave so that the team isnt constantly playing musical chairs and trying to sort themselves out.

    • @reelgesh51
      @reelgesh51 2 месяца назад +1

      Also please help whoever is holding the backline
      A lot of areas you'd hold out have a lane that basically has a smaller number of enemy spawns
      Normally as a healer I can ignore that berserker holding that lane or death etc
      However if s big zed spawns there I won't know to heal them early due to many plays either not using a mic or because they don't use the voice commands to request help
      Usually I have to launch a medic grenade to the guy at the back to actually help kill the big zeds because all my other teammates just stack on top of each other holding the busy lane and honestly probably getting in each other's way .
      So just be nice and occasionally check up on the guy holding the flank and pop a couple shots

    • @drunkbunny94
      @drunkbunny94 2 месяца назад +1

      @@reelgesh51 I agree you should try and be aware of your surroundings but it's not something everyone's good at.
      Communication is king. If people are busy on their lanes they aren't going to have time to look over and help somewhere else - unless you ask for it.
      If you get a bunch of larges you can't deal with, spam need assistance or use VoIP to ask for the demo or sharp to come and help you.
      Played some HoE+ the other night and the team wasn't that great so we wiped on wave 2 like twice in a row, had a quick text chat about it - "medic calls the kite, follow the medic" - we're all on the same page and nail it on the next attempt.

    • @reelgesh51
      @reelgesh51 2 месяца назад

      @@drunkbunny94 yeah I do try to spam assistance when it's needed
      Just frustrating when the gunslinger decides they'd rather deal with trash zeds with the berserker's lane and my support who has lower movement speed has to chug along and get relatively close to help the other teammate holding the back lane whilst I desperately healthrower my teammate as much as possible to keep them alive until help comes :D
      Not that big a deal and I've gotten better at calling for help earlier as the medic as to give supports (who tend to try help out the most ) time to get to me.
      I have gone into matches with really good gunslinger players who basically turn into bloodhounds the second I ask for assistance on a lane and within 5 seconds the big zed is just dead which is why I complain about other gunslingers since I've grown accustom to their lethality :D

    Hey man!
    First of all, thanks for this guide, just bought KF2 on series X and trying to learn some basics. Did some searching, but can't find answers to all my questions - maybe you'll be so kind to help? :)
    1) Dying during the round: what's the exact penalty for that? Do I lose any XP, or only some dosh?
    2) Are there any statictisc of my account I can check on console (like kills, waves completed etc.). I've read that there are some stats via Steam, but I play on xbox.
    3) Which 3 perks you recommend for a begginer? I started with Support, but would like to change things from time to time.
    4) Lastly, do I understand correctly that all the weapon upgrades are done only for a given game and they are gone after I finish it? Do weapons that I buy transfer to next games?
    Thanks in advance for all your support! :)

    • @wezaatzk
      @wezaatzk  3 дня назад +1

      Hi thanks for the questions, I will try my best to answer them!
      1. You don't lose any XP or dosh by dying. You only drop your weapons which means you will have to run and find them again. also at the end of the wave you will get a smaller pay-out in dosh than the team as you would have died. ( In solo death is permanent)
      2. on Xbox one if you go to your profile and select the gaming tab at the top you should see your list of games and percentage completed. you can click into the game by hitting (A) And you can go to stats on the left hand side to view hours played and other stats
      3. One perk I would recommend for a beginner is firebug due to how simple the perk is to use. you don't need to aim to use it. You just spray and prey and can save you in bad situations. Gunslinger is also a good one for bosses although it does require good aim. but when you get to lvl 15, if you use the rack em up skill you can kill anything with ease. Finally I would recommend the demo. I would use a kaboom stick and an RPG which does insane damage and can kill anything with ease. Demo does require aim but not as precise as gunslinger.
      4. Weapons and upgrades do not carry across to other games, meaning every game you start from scratch and build up your arsenal of weapons and upgrades again. The only thing that does save is XP and loot crates earned at the end of the match.
      Hope these answers helped.

      There is tons of replay ability with KF2. You can play survival, endless mode, objective mode, you can even play multiplayer or even do weekly challenges such as explosive zeds, shrunken zeds. So there is a ton of content within the game. considering I've played KF2 For almost 1,000 hours I've got a little bored of the game as I've done everything but if you're a new player then there will be a ton of things to do.

When I press triangle or hold it down to switch to any of my weapons nothing happens and I can not figure out how to pull a weapon back out. I've pressed everything and nothing works. What perks earn the most money

    • @wezaatzk
      @wezaatzk  24 дня назад

      they all earn the same amount, it depends on the type of zed you kill. flesh pounds and larger enemies earn more dosh and XP along with bosses whereas small zeds earn the least. it also depends on the difficulty you play on which can give more or less depending on the level.

      You can only do it with the PC version of the game by going to the steam workshop and subscribing to some maps and mods. Other players can join them but you have to set up your own servers which on my opinion is more hassle than just playing official maps. Unless you make the games public other players can’t join your games or friends
