King fleshpound can only use the laser when he's not raged. Also matriarch's cannon, shield and headpiece will break when she is at half health regardless of the amount of damage you did to them beforehand.
I like to take down the matriarchs cannon first because it’s her most deadly attack and one of her only range attacks (Apart from the tentacle which you can easily avoid). Once her cannon is down you can run around freely which makes for an easy boss win (multiplayer would be more difficult but solo would be easy)
For starting solo it has to be firebug as it is good for killing smaller enemies in the earlier rounds. Then as you get to the later rounds I would recommend demolitionist for dealing with larger zeds like fleshpounds. Then for the boss gunslinger is a great perk due to the rack em up skill and fast movement speed meaning you can easily gun down bosses with ease.
If you want to play Hell on Earth solo I recommend Medic with at least level 20. Get the Incision as soon as possible, the poison darts are insane, you can one shot any small and medium ZED and deal with Scrakes and Fleshpounds in seconds. You can pair it with everything else you want depending on your playstyle (Medic SMG+Bombardier/Sentinel || Medic Assault Riffle || Medic Shotgun). If you get crowded just throw a grenade at your feet and everything dies while you heal yourself, the syringe regenerates extremely fast and gives you more healing, bosses are a joke, they melt really fast, Patriarch will always die from poison DoT. That was the easiest way for me to get all the achievements, including the objective and endless ones, I hope this helps ^^

When the matriarch wants to grab you with a hook, and you don't have any shelters, then you can just spam the A-D buttons one at a time
Or you can stand far enough back so she can't grab as you as her tentacle only reaches so far
@@wezaatzku can parry her tentacle when she tries to grab u and it will cancel it.
