I was sitting with my first crush on a snowy bus ride for some jazz band school trip to play a weekend concert back in 94, I was 14. I remember going home and listening to this song that night and watching the snow outside, feeling that pure innocent puppy dog romantic feeling. I listen to this every Feb/March for a nostalgic blast, it gets me every time.

man, going to Pet Shop Boys concert this weekend. Waited 2 years for it. For those know about 3D animation, I worked for a computer graphics company used our software called Dynamation to create all the particle effects for the music video. Good old days!

I knew nothing about it, other than that it was by the Pet Shop Boys, and I was in love with the melody (and of course captivated by the golden winged heads and dunce hats). Today I finally decided to comb the internet for all PSB songs till I found it... All I can say is, this weekend has been incredibly fulfilling. Came across this by accident. What wonderful memories of living in France and visiting Futurescope, Poitiers. It was always played at one of the spectacles, and I love it.

I listened to this song for the first time in an overnight sleeper bus from Hampi to Goa, India. It was January 1998. The night, the stars, a light shone through the dark..still remember the feelings I had when I listened to the line while gazing at the night sky full of stars.
I don't think many people realise what an astonishing feat this video was for it's time...this was the 90's! No Adobe After Effects or anything like it...this was made from scratch and God knows how they rendered it. Must have needed a room full of computers lol
i guess that they might have used a very early mackintosh 1 maybe 2 (early jobs era) just like mike oldfield used during for one album he recorded and had a film at end that noone could see as them machines were at least 8k at that time
First heard this song and watched this video at an IMAX 3D theater back in the late 1990s. Didn't really appreciate PSB music when I heard them in the 80s, but this really turned me onto the group.

This song and its marvelous videoclip was in fashion in 1994. I link it to the time when I was preparing myself for the final examination at high school. At that time the images of this videoclip was the highest expression of what IT could do.
I saw this video back in 2000. Imax was featuring a 3D animation called Cyberworld and this was just one of the segments. 3D movies were still pretty new, and this one, in Imax, full view filling, Dolby surround, was so loud, so intensely surreal, I found it overwhelming to the point of being unwatchable. It was great.

First heard this song and watched this video at an IMAX 3D theater back in the late 1990s. Didn't really appreciate PSB music when I heard them in the 80s, but this really turned me onto the group.
Such an underrated song but truly fantastic video, thank you Neil and Chris for giving us pet shop boys fans so much over the past 34 years we have been spolt rotten you guys are the best ever.
I'm feel so confortable listening this wonderful song.
Everytime I hear this song I am inspired romantically and it makes me believe in the beauty and power of love. The Pet Shop Boys are certainly at their very best on this song.

All this CGI looked amazing in 1994.
It certainly was very impressive for 1994, I remember watching this in the student bar at my college where they had MTV showing on a tv almost all the time, and thinking how clever it was!

This song and its marvelous videoclip was in fashion in 1994. I link it to the time when I was preparing myself for the final examination at high school. At that time the images of this videoclip was the highest expression of what IT could do.
I saw this video back in 2000. Imax was featuring a 3D animation called Cyberworld and this was just one of the segments. 3D movies were still pretty new, and this one, in Imax, full view filling, Dolby surround, was so loud, so intensely surreal, I found it overwhelming to the point of being unwatchable. It was great.
