Ahhhhh yes! I remember watching this live on MTV. I may have been 14 or 15. Back when the VMAs were pretty cool. Was a very cool time to be alive.

My friend recently bought a Stratocaster that looks exactly like the MTV VMA one, same color, same tone. The only thing different is it didn't come with a hotrail

Did Kurt always play live tuned to eflat? :) was it so he didn't have to tune to d standard for songs like lithium and come as you are and back to standard for songs like breed and in bloom? :) epic tone btw
On the Australia and Japan tour, they used full step down D standard tuning for Come as You Are and Lithium, just like the album, and from June 1992 onward, everything was a half step down in E Flat standard tuning.

Yes with my original VMA partcaster. But this guitar is a 90's ST-62 Strat with 90's Hot Rails, as close as I can possibly get to Kurt's VMA strat so I thought it was worth redoing!
