I will try both a baking powder batch and a baking soda batch. Just to see if the cookie that spreads looks less crumbly. This looks so delicious thanks for sharing

Sooooo I made this on 12/31 and I promise you it didn’t stay on table no longer than about 3 min before it was gone #delicious I also had extra batter left due to the type of bunt pan I used and I made cupcakes out of that with the extra Carmel topping I didn’t find the Carmel in a can so I purchased the jar version and kinda eyeballed the recipe to fit that jar but it was still delish So I thank you for sharing this and I look forward to more of your fabulous pound cake recipes 🎉🎉🎉🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
I will definitely give this a try minus the frosting...I don't care for too sweet pound cake. I am wondering about maybe poking holes in cake and infusing cake a little more with the Hennessy???
@@samuelcolangelo2895 this recipe is made for the Bundt cake pans. Also, you can use the tube pans. And you can also make cake layers. Just make sure you add the right amount of batter to each pan according to the size pan that you are using. That when you use other pans, the time of baking would change because of the different size pan. You are attempting to use. Not sure what pan you’re going to use, but just know when you’re baking in a different size pan. The time does change and I would recommend to bake at 325° at a longer timeframe, this would be considered baking low and slow. Hope this helps.
That will give off a different flavor. If I was to use that particular flavored liquor I will probably use it in a pineapple poundcake. This serves a different flavor. It’s a salted caramel Hennessey poundcake.

No, I didn’t do the holes in the video but it is listed in the instructions. If you want to add it to your cake, I didn’t do it because I only had a little bit of Hennessy left.
So basically, after you have popped your cake out and it’s good on the other side but your cake back in the pan create your hose and then create the Hennessey sauce to pour into your holes of the cake
I add it for texture, added flavor and to achieve a nice moist cake. When I create my Cakes I like for them to be full of flavor and moisture. Butter Flavored Shortening is a cooking fat or hydrated vegetable oil. When Combining two different fats such as butter and shortening will give a recipe some of each fat's best qualities Fat is an essential part of what makes baked goods tender and moist, depending on the recipe though because some recipes miss a few things, or need something to be added, and that’s why I’m particular when I create my recipes but it also plays some more scientific roles in how our baked goods rise. The first role of fat in baking is to add richness, flavor, and moisture to baked goods. Baked goods with a lot of fat have a more luxurious mouthfeel and just taste better. So I hope this has answered your question. I could go on but it’s too much to write and when I voice message it doesn’t always come out like it should. I’m a teacher at heart!❤️ happy holidays

As I mentioned in the video, if you add baking soda to a cookie, it will spread it’s not going to bloom like you see here in the video.

Stored it in a container, placed in the refrigerator for my next cake. You can store it up to 2 months in the freezer and 2 weeks in the refrigerator

Yummy! I have a customer who drinks pineapple ciroc. Can I substitute a pineapple ciroc instead of Hennessey? Not sure if I will get the same results.
