Stannis The Mannis have you not actually watched the episode? It's confirmed later that Sherlock and Janine didn't have sex. He says he exploited her and she says "when?! Just once would've been nice" and he says "oh....I was waiting till we got married."
They never did it. It was discussed later when Sherl (lol) was at the hospital. Jeanine said she wished they would've at least once, and Sherlock said he was waiting until they were married. Obviously having no intention to marry her, so he never planned to have sex with her. But she is going to be back for series 4!!
I quite like Janine. I think she and Sherlock have great chemistry as FRIENDS and would make a fantastic platonic pair. In the past, I never went out of my way to ship Sherlock and John romantically. I actually thought the complexity of their relationship was always interesting enough with them being just besties. But at this point, I think there IS something more there. Otherwise, the separation at the beginning of His Last Vow makes no sense. Both of them are totally miserable and in really unhealthy places, yet they haven't spoken? What is that about? I mean we know they're soul mates and life partners, and that doesn't have to be anything sexual or romantic. However, they establish that they love each other platonically and are best friends in TSoT. They spend all these months solving cases. Sherlock plans the wedding and he, Mary, and John do the planning AT BAKER ST. Mary's only encouraged them to be close. So to me, it makes absolutely no sense that they suddenly wouldn't hang out unless they're purposefully avoiding one another. And since they've already had a platonic revelation during TSoT and should be happier than they've ever been, I don't know what else could be happening than possibly something romantic. Sherlock is back on heroin (says it's for a case, but we all know that if John were around, the drugs thing never would've happened, so he's clearly grieving his loss of John). He's using a woman to get information which I know is ACD canon but still shows Sherlock back to embracing his more sociopathic tendencies out of sadness. Meanwhile, John is having his PTSD nightmares, exactly the same as ASiP, only SHERLOCK is now in them too. John keeps all his clothes ready to pack. So he's a month into his marriage and has one foot out the door already. If they hadn't run into each other by chance, who knows how long it would've been until they spoke? In addition, John was all raring to go to work the CAM case with Sherlock, but after the Janine scene, he's like "oh I'll tell you if I'm available" and clearly seemed jealous and pissed off. Even later, at CAM's office, he mentioned Sherlock getting his head kicked in by security with a pissed off look on his face. And this was BEFORE he found out the relationship with Janine was all for show. Something is up. As for the ladies, I prefer Janine to Molly or Irene (at least for Sherlock). Molly is too nice for him, and Irene is too shady. Janine's got the sweet and naughty mixed up. However, given where S3 ended up, I don't see Sherlock being more than good friends with Janine or anyone else except maybe John. Never thought I'd say that, but there it is. And honestly, if Moffat, Gatiss, and the BBC had the balls to go there, I'd applaud them.
Look at Sherlock's face, he's doing it on purpose.
Poor John...
I was soooooo lost during this scene
Like, wait- what? No, yes, no no but WHAT?
Anyone realized how he changed subjects?! LOL
0:02 John's face... He's like: wut?

Kelli Pope
Making out does not always mean that you PHYSICALLY did the deed.
I now go and take the Reichenbach fall.
Did they do it in the bathroom???

Kelli Pope Oh so that's what she meant....you made me one happy person today. I don't like her. :-/ I love Johlock too much. :-))
