I'm fascinated by the different areas & growth. For example, when you share the 1920's bungalows info, etc. Now, I'm gonna have to find a LA history video. Thanks, for sharing.
thanks for the ride Choo! Your tours always seem to sooth me a little. Nice to daydream as well. I will be in "the canyon" in September for just a day. But hey, it's a day in beautiful Cali!
George Vreeland Hill and a great amount of air contaminates unseen - and can kill ....not where I would want to live ... ever..😕☁☁☁☁💨💀💨💩💩💩💨💀👻💨💢👻💨💢👎👎👎👎👎
The foliage in the area, despite it being in a "semi-arid" climatic zone, it amazingly tropical in appearance. That's what I've always observed and loved about areas of southern California. Their "killer" climate allows for almost anything to grow OUTSIDE and flourish. With the area being semi-arid, weeds don't seem to be much of a problem. If it wasn't meant to be there, it doesn't just "spring up" and have to be culled, as we do here in southern La.. Weeds are a constant bothersome worry, while we enjoy a mostly frost free winter.
Nice one! Great camera too. I was looking for Gene Simmons house on the left. Another stunning property is the Villa Bella on the old site of the Sharon Tate house up Cielo Drive. One other way you know you are back in BH is the ride suddenly gets smooth - BH uses a unique process of paving that eliminates the formation of potholes - something I learned from former Mayor Jimmy Delshad. Happy trails!
BJGZ So ....potholes never happen there because of a certain process ?!?😱😃Why isn't this 'process' available for EVERY ROAD in the United States then - 😞😧😡😡🙄😒 And Shouldn't it be?!?🕵👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 ❓❗❓🤔🤓🕵

Christophe do you think that the huse similar to a palladian villa, the one you sad that as been on a tv show its tacky? because im about to buy it and i like but my mother doesn't
1963 we lived on Hutton drive and deep canyon my dad Paul rapp was in charge of production for roger corman and he put me in the opening scean of the wild angels with peter fonda
Yep, "Raul", Vicky, the two little poodles, 2 Labs (I called the yellow lab "Marilyn Monroe", because it had long eyelashes). I worked on the "barn" and the main house for couple years. good luck on sales.
Christophe Choo I just was a helper/laborer. Nothing special. It was cool working there. Great vistas, bright blue skies and it never got hot. Just the right balance of exposure to the sun (direct and indirect/reflective) and shading from the ridge and knolls.

Do you go by Ross Martin's home?
Thank you so much!
in an earthquake, is it possible that all the homes cut high into the steep hills are going to slide down it like a toboggan?
Most are built with caissons directly into the bedrock. Some of the houses on stilts are another story.
When when I was born in August of 1978 my mom used to work with Sonny and Cher at their former home on Benedict Canyon.

The lawn/yard maintenance business must be never ending.
Yes it is so true, we have many gardeners and landscapers employed here.
Lots for sale signs here 👀

I know the house quite well and went to many parties there, our friends built it.
WHoo was your "friend" at the Walters'? The cook? the cook was actually a pretty cool guy.
I knew Raul and I am friends with Vicky.
