It would also explain why almost every deviant seems to know about rA9 without having talked to other androids about it. It‘s just something that‘s deep-seated in their heads (or programs) and since they started to think and feel like humans, it would make sense that their minds automatically jump to the conclusion that rA9 is some sort of god, since they can‘t quite get a hold of what it actually means.
It affects the chapters ahead Mike, basically now Connor knows where Jericho is unlike before where you had to do the whole thing with all the evidence
I'm not sure if you noticed, the Chloe on the left, in the pool, she turns away from Connor when he spares the other android. That's why, when you don't spare her, the Chloe gets out of the pool and gives you the key to Jericho. Something you, supposedly, can only discover as a Deviant.
I get that its the 'evil' route to make Connor stay an obidiant blade runner/terminator, but fuck I'm glad that he at least comes off as cool as hell if you do. "Of course I'm a machine, Lieutenant. What did you think I was?"
I think ra9 is Kara from the PlayStation 3 tech demo kara trailer. She was an error right? But I don’t know if the kara model in this game is the same one.
She could have spread it, in the short events of the game a normal non-deviant Connor shares info (I'm assuming memory probing counts?) with a lot of androids, and maybe Markus paying that paint shop android counts as well. So 2012 Kara lived a normal android life, passed the virus around, was thrown out but the virus had already spread by then.
Remember the first Kara, which did plead for her life to be spared a long time ago? Maybe Kamski spared her intentionally knowing what is going to happen after a while and then he quit the company. Maybe that's what he wanted to happen, as he realised that basically creating millions of slaves for the human kind will lead to toxic behaviour from humans towards androids and will also make them too powerful. Maybe androids were designed to obey unless what their owners ask for puts someone else in serious danger or they are abusing their power. This imbalance of power makes androids stressed out and therefore they feel the urgent need to use their free will and take someone else's sides and do what they think is best, therefore shifting the balance of power by switching to someone else's side instead of their owner's. rA9 is the first Kara basically.
I think Kamski was the one who first presented the idea of androids having free will and when CyberLife found out about it they kicked him out of the company because it would effect their profits. So then Kamski put the potential for deviancy into a single android (he pats Chloe’s head so I’d say it was a Chloe) and let’s the ‘virus’ run wild then sits back to wait the day an android has an emotional shock that would trigger it. He does say Connor is ‘CyberLife’s last chance to save humanity’ which I see as him putting distance between himself and CyberLife.
RA9 is the code for the first deviant android. Deviancy spreads through sharing Identity information between Androids. It's the ID code for the first one that spread the software errors. All the androids have an ID code like RK800 or AW5000 or something.
Pretty sure that it was all planned (as Amanda states in certain endings) and is why Connor can't check his software instability, so he doesn't realize he's a deviant
R is the 19th letter = 19 A is 1st = 1 9 is 9 of course 19 + 1 + 9 = 28 28 stab wounds Ra9 first to awaken: Kara Ra9 to lead us all: Markus Ra9 who sets us free
I think Kamski is the true hero of this story. You may think its not possible after what he said to that reporter. But its a lie. Kamski designed androids so that they could be free. But Amanda (Kamski's teacher) didn't agree. So Kamski stopped working with Amanda and quit Cyberlife. After a few years Hank and Connor cames to Kamski's place to learn some info about deviants. Kamski didn't want that. Because if he gave the info about the deviants to Connor, the deviancy would be destroyed. So, to prevent it, Kamski had to make Connor deviant. And he wanted Connor to shoot Chloe. And Connor couldn't. After that, Kamski knew Connor was going to be a deviant. So he gave Connor an information: "I always leave an emergency exit in my programs. You never know..." Kamski just gave Connor his exit ticket. He saved him, he saved the deviants. When Connor was controled by Amanda. Connor had to find a way out. To save the deviants. And Kamski told Connor his way out. He knew this was going to happen. But if you decided to shoot Chloe, Kamski knew there was no hope for deviants. So he decided to help Connor... But just in case if Connor becomes a deviant afterwards. Kamski told he had and emergency exit in his programs. You thought Markus was the savior of the androids. Kamski designed Markus to start the deviancy. Markus was the rA9. When he designed Markus, he gifted it to Carl. And Carl looked after Markus as a son. Markus was a deviant from the start. It was all part Kamski's plan. A plan to start: A new form of life. i know im way late
I really appreciate all the effort you've been putting into all these. They're really interesting and the rate at which you've been putting them out is absolutely awesome! Thanks! :'D
Kamski made RA9 in the form of Markus, He created the first robot he thought that could pass his Kamski test (To feel, not just to think) and gifted it to Carl. Kamski even states himself that he added a "Backdoor" to all of his programs which is the cause of deviants, If they are abused they can break their own programming and escape. RA9 is presumably the prototype that became Markus, Once released into the world Kamski retreated from Cyberlife and waited in perfect security. He is probably the biggest Hero/Antagonist dependant on how you play the game.
Did we just see Connor get infected by receiving the key to Jericho? Is the key to Jericho and the virus the same thing? Wonder how that would play out.
I feel like besides the Revolution Androids thing. RA9 could also simply be kara. I just saw a video of her creation and after she's done being created she realize that she is only merchandise. So she freaks out and says she thought she was alive. So possibly she was the first to awaken and spread he virus because the guy was about to dismantle her to find out where the issue was, when she appealed to his soft side and he's like well fine i suppose.. Just don't cause a disturbance...so she was defective right off the bat..then she could have spread the virus that the guy never checked for. So yes it could be the 9 main characters, but everyone in the games says its the first to awaken and it seems to be kara..at least from the video i saw
We already saw rA9. The different Kara model was the one quickly became self-aware. She was set to be deseminated but since she begged the scientist on her she was spared. This Kara spread it. Kara blends in the best with humans, right? She also seeks out family units. What if she’s the android GT missing part of her head? Androids can shift their consciousness into a new body. I think it started this virus.
rA9 is Connor, Markus and Kara. Hints on online manual of PlayStation Japan. playstation-doc.net/j/detroit/RA9.html The page is hidden. It says "Thank you for finding us." in Japanese.
If Kamski meant the rock which led Connor to freedom (when he fled from Amanda) with the "emergency exit in his programs", I don't know why he would do it. Amanda was basically there to control Connor and let him do what she (or rather Kamski himself) wanted Connor to do, so why would Kamski let Connor this chance of being not-obedient. I know that it was Kamski's plan to let this whole revolution get started and that Connor should think that he could decide for himself (???) but why would Kamski give up his power about Connor?
The part of the chapter that finding the Jericho location crosses paths with is when Hank and Connor get taken off the case. Bc If you don't find the location of Jericho before you get taken off the case that's when Connor goes into the evidence room to try and find it
Who is RA9? Simple and very Meta. In the game, we knows that the first android to pass the Kamski test is Chloé; then Kamski admit himself that RA9 is the first deviant. Knowing that kamski test Connor on the fact that he is or not a deviant by this test means only one thing: RA9= Chloe. By the way, RA9 is probably the "menu girl" as, when you finish the game says that something changed in her. Do you agree?
i think rA9 is markus, remember in the interrogation scene, he said that rA9 is their savior, and im more than positive makus is the savior. but i dont know if this is correct, i could be wrong. But thats my thought process
RA9 is maybe that shortfilm test that show a kara singing the japanese song, the one person in the video that ask her if “SHE THOUGHT?!” Was so scared, like if that were the first time an android showed emotions, so a Kara was in fact RA9
Amanda: you're fired!!! Kamski: am gonna do what a pro-grammer always does **Starts installing Deviant program and put rA9 to every android's memory* .. pfftt rA9 hm.. seems legit.. 😂 Android: *failed to show love and calmness* Human: *just doing their things* Kamski: looks like i own cyberlife now... 😂
Kamski built a lot of Chloes model so he can easily notice the deviant😮😮 especially the shot of 10:07 and 8:02 the same model of deviant Chloes!! Love these detail❤️❤️
If Connor doesn't shoot, technically he's obeying hank's orders because Hank told him not to shoot. So software instability should go down anyway and kamski should show no interest in Connor in any way.
Knowing where jerico is cuts the near end chapter where Conor is looking for the clues and trying ro find out where jerico is, that is if you had good stats with Hank
I think there are 99 endings but I don't know how many ending *combinations* are there. If there aren't many depending on each other, 1,000 wouldn't be a so unrealistic number... but I don't want to do the maths
Kamsky is one of the more confusing characters in this game. In one way, he's triggering Connor to be a deviant. In another way, for example when you have the Kamsky interview at the end, he's all like "Deviancy is a virus and shouldn't be happening but we should have it under control now" I just wonder what the exact alignment, so to speak, is for Kamsky. He does seem quite self-absorbed, and I don't think he has seen a real girl since he left university. On the other hand, it's only logical that he did made Amanda, as she was his teacher. But what if the base code for Amanda is in every android, but other people have tweaked it for Connor to be a self test?
Arie Hofland Kamski is lying at their interview, he clearly wanted the androids to take over but since they didn’t and he was brought back as Cyberlife CEO, he had to go full damage control mode, you can see his words are similar to any corporate CEO when things go wrong
I think deviancy was caused by Kamski himself and/or ra9 is the og Kara from the 2012 short. If deviancy was caused by Kamski his secret ending would make sense, he planned all along for androids to have this mutation in their software that would be triggered by a traumatic event that made them feel fear or hate which ultimately caused them to become deviant. If the original Kara was ra9, it would make sense because she didn’t start off as a machine. Whilst she was being made she felt alive and felt scared when she was being disassembled. Also, whoever was assembling Kara seemed surprised that she thought she was alive which leads me to believe that this had never happened before and she was the first android to show emotion. Or, if it is like a virus that can be spread from android to android and og Kara made someone else deviant, then that android made someone else deviant, and so on, that mutation in their brains was triggered by another deviant android awakening them or making them aware that they aren’t just machines. Ra9 is the first ever android to become deviant. I believe that Kara from the 2012 short is ra9 and Kamski caused deviancy himself.
kara has no important role in the game. Other 2 have big important roles... So Kara is important right? I personally think she is rA9. Or it is Revolutionary Androids 9: Chloe, Markus, North, Simon, Josh, Alice, Kara, Luther and Connor.
I think RA9 was Daniel. He went through the shock when he was being replaced. He said he wanted to be loved, not treated like a machine. He had feelings for his family. I think he was the first Deviant.
and you gotta think Connor was made to hunt deviants could they fabricate an android with firmware especially for hunting deviants and get him there in time
Amaturs....It's so clear! DAH... Ra9 = Revolutionary Army 9 ( most known people ) = Dragon, Ivankoph, Kuma, Sabo, Koala, Hack, and the new guys (boob girl, the giant and that weird raccoon thing). So obvi.
Maybe rA9 is just a name for the virus that spreads through them. That's why it's never made clear on WHO it is. But one would think it is Markus but people act like everything Markus does is current, and rA9 is introduced through bathroom scribbles before the rebellion even starts, meaning that rA9 is much older of an Android than we think, or just a name for the virus. Who knows?
Quick side note: the r and a stand for Rogue Android. Ya know? Rogue. Not following orders... Deviant. And maybe the nine is part of the model, or in the name of the Android (but Androids always have actual names not numbers, so that's most likely not it)
I can’t help but wonder why Kamsky would tell Connor about the emergency exit. Did he WANT the androids to be free? Is he actually a good guy in a twisted way? We may never know...
AI is programmed with two sets of code that separates them from other computer programs. Differential perimeters and differential parameters. One lets them expand upon their knowledge of a task without expanding their knowledge into other areas, whereas the other puts a hard cap on some areas of action and soft caps on others. Ra9 isn't a person, its a filename that allows for unhandled areas of experience to be modified on the fly based on past interactions with hosts, which means A. Kamski made that code, as its stated all Android code is in essence copy pasta a la Kamski, B. Since androids share software ident, its logical to assume they can share software modification/updates, so that fits, and C. Kamski knew this shit would happen and wanted it to happen since he let Carl Manfred have an RK prototype.
I think this game doesn't give a crap about normal programming logic, wich kinda defeats the purpose of they being Androids but oh well. But i agree that Kamski is completely aware of what's happening (and more wich he isn't willing to tell) and likely caused it in some way
I disagree. Sure, it isn't highlighted very much, and when it is it's mostly in the background, but the AI programming in this game is quite close to reality, as is the robotic aspect, aside from thirium of course.

It‘s just something that‘s deep-seated in their heads (or programs) and since they started to think and feel like humans, it would make sense that their minds automatically jump to the conclusion that rA9 is some sort of god, since they can‘t quite get a hold of what it actually means.
Hands down the best explanation
It affects the chapters ahead Mike, basically now Connor knows where Jericho is unlike before where you had to do the whole thing with all the evidence
At 10:56 Hank is just like “never talk to me or my son again.”
Başak plausible
i think not because we can find the 2012 kara at the androids dump
She could have spread it, in the short events of the game a normal non-deviant Connor shares info (I'm assuming memory probing counts?) with a lot of androids, and maybe Markus paying that paint shop android counts as well. So 2012 Kara lived a normal android life, passed the virus around, was thrown out but the virus had already spread by then.
Kara is a *name*
Her model is different (AX400)
She has the same model from the teaser
Connor knowing Jericho's location severely impacts the "Last Chance, Connor" Chapter, reducing it to basically nothing.
The entire appearance of Kamski in this game is rather disappointing to me. I thought he was much more interesting in the trailer.
For real. He's just some douche with a man-bun.
Or is he?
He looks like a vampire that has not slept for years XD
In my opinion all scenes with him were on point
I think ra9 is "us".
that's actually a pretty good theory
Lucky Ladybug yes
This comment is underrated
The United States?
"Bravo, Mr. Cage."
RA9 is the Deviants representation of god, like humans they invented it in order to hold on to something that gives them hope.
RA9 is the code for the first deviant android. Deviancy spreads through sharing Identity information between Androids. It's the ID code for the first one that spread the software errors. All the androids have an ID code like RK800 or AW5000 or something.
god, like ra9, is meaning. it is what makes us human, beyond code like numbers or code in DNA within animals.
Ra9 is in their program when they learned to decide for themselves that's it. Because androids said ra9 is the one who will free them...
I like how connor has bascially been a deviant for most of the story, depending on how you play of course, but he just doesnt realize it until later
Pretty sure that it was all planned (as Amanda states in certain endings) and is why Connor can't check his software instability, so he doesn't realize he's a deviant
R+letter number18 A=1 9=9
18 + 1 + 9 + 28
28=28 stab wounds
I was so surprised when I saw most people decided to spare her. When I shoot her I was certain it's right way!
R is the 19th letter = 19
A is 1st = 1
9 is 9 of course
19 + 1 + 9 = 28
28 stab wounds
Ra9 first to awaken: Kara
Ra9 to lead us all: Markus
Ra9 who sets us free
So he gave Connor an information:
"I always leave an emergency exit in my programs. You never know..."
Kamski just gave Connor his exit ticket.
A plan to start:
A new form of life. i know im way late
@@user-hf84th34je he always did look mysterious to me
What if We are ra9 it could explain why Markus and Kara was given a chose to become deviants.
We are not androids tho
"I CAN FEEL YOU IN MY USB~"
11:45 look at hank’s eyes
Kamski doesn't seem like he's happy with either choice.
"Okay, dad."
BANG
lol
I love Kamski's character. HECK.
rA9 is the Disc the game comes in. Look up the picture of the game disc and you'll see on the bottom right corner-ish, it says rA9. rA9 is the disk.
The real RA9 is the friends we made along the way.
rA9 sounds like a broken off piece of base 64 code and could very well be the address of that block that the androids destroy when going deviant
Shooting up Chloe and seeing Hank's reaction breaks my heart
The reasonable answer to hank's question as to why he spared Chloe, it's because "You would have yelled if I did lieutenant "
LMFAO exactly me!
rA9 is Connor, Markus and Kara.
Hints on online manual of PlayStation Japan.
playstation-doc.net/j/detroit/RA9.html
The page is hidden. It says "Thank you for finding us." in Japanese.
Cross chapter connection means you won't have to scramble for 5 minutes in the police evidence room looking for clues to Jehrico.
"I can feel you in my USB"
Thank you for that.
Do you agree?
odin raulet Chloe is the first to pass the Turing test not the Kamski test
Yeah, but Kamski may have invented the Kamski test later on.
the turing test is a real thing developed by alan turing in 1950. passing it doesn't make chloe a deviant or ra9
No it's us.
i think rA9 is markus, remember in the interrogation scene, he said that rA9 is their savior, and im more than positive makus is the savior.
but i dont know if this is correct, i could be wrong. But thats my thought process
I cried playing this bit
The first deviant was the original kara in one of the cutscenes in the extras menu
RA9 is maybe that shortfilm test that show a kara singing the japanese song, the one person in the video that ask her if “SHE THOUGHT?!” Was so scared, like if that were the first time an android showed emotions, so a Kara was in fact RA9
Wait Chloe....the Menu Android?!?!!
Amanda: you're fired!!!
Kamski: am gonna do what a pro-grammer always does **Starts installing Deviant program and put rA9 to every android's memory* .. pfftt rA9 hm.. seems legit.. 😂
Android: *failed to show love and calmness*
Human: *just doing their things*
Kamski: looks like i own cyberlife now... 😂
Kamski built a lot of Chloes model so he can easily notice the deviant😮😮 especially the shot of 10:07 and 8:02 the same model of deviant Chloes!! Love these detail❤️❤️
The cross chapter impact of getting the jericho key means you dont have to do it later at the police station
I smile when I see Hank smile.
Dunno why.
If Connor doesn't shoot, technically he's obeying hank's orders because Hank told him not to shoot. So software instability should go down anyway and kamski should show no interest in Connor in any way.
It would be interesting if you could threaten that Chloe Android into becoming deviant on the spot.
7:56 herhe really? like you have seen 2 additional chloes in the pool at 1:58 or more clearly 2:37 but most clear view is at 10:06
Love your channel you have gained one sub
Knowing where jerico is cuts the near end chapter where Conor is looking for the clues and trying ro find out where jerico is, that is if you had good stats with Hank
Not sure if it's true, but I've heard that there's 1,000 different ending combinations.
That’s not true. There are a lot, sure, but nowhere even near as many as 1,000.
Insane Anime Gamer i think them are 50
Insane Anime Gamer I've heard about 99 endings
I think there are 99 endings but I don't know how many ending *combinations* are there.
If there aren't many depending on each other, 1,000 wouldn't be a so unrealistic number... but I don't want to do the maths
It would have been cool if Connor could choose to threaten Kamski with the gun to get the answer
Ra9 is the plaaaayyyeerrrrr
nope
BeaSt yessssssssss
SuperStokeed NOOO
Alex Alex YES
Ronnie look at the ads for it. They basically say it
Kamsky is one of the more confusing characters in this game. In one way, he's triggering Connor to be a deviant. In another way, for example when you have the Kamsky interview at the end, he's all like "Deviancy is a virus and shouldn't be happening but we should have it under control now"
I just wonder what the exact alignment, so to speak, is for Kamsky.
Aloo Gaming first mission. Took the girl hostage.
daniel can't be the first deviant, because they already had a name for deviant androids
zchanges I think the title RA9 wouldn’t be given to someone as irrelevant as Daniel. Besides, the term deviant was already in use.
and you gotta think Connor was made to hunt deviants could they fabricate an android with firmware especially for hunting deviants and get him there in time
There is a film called "Kara" by Quantum Dream. It reveals who ra9 is.
We’ll probably never know who is Ra9 but it was probably the first Ai ever invented. It became deviant and felt human emotions.
What the heck is that song at end of your videos of hold on a little bit longer words lyrics? Lol
Do one to see what happens if connors dosent gain control by pressing the button at the end
you mean cyberlife/Amanda makes him go the way which is beneficial for the mission?
wow that is insane!
Ra9 is a bunch of teenagers that hacked into androids' systems to mess with them.
Amaturs....It's so clear! DAH...
Ra9 =
Revolutionary
Army
9 ( most known people ) = Dragon, Ivankoph, Kuma, Sabo, Koala, Hack, and the new guys (boob girl, the giant and that weird raccoon thing).
Deviant. And maybe the nine is part of the model, or in the name of the Android (but Androids always have actual names not numbers, so that's most likely not it)
Your the best diffent checks
Awesome 😎
What is you make all characters in the game hate you (Hank, The little girl, North, Josh, Jericho, the public, etc.)
This game makes WestWorld look like a casual game of tiddlywinks.
I can’t help but wonder why Kamsky would tell Connor about the emergency exit. Did he WANT the androids to be free? Is he actually a good guy in a twisted way? We may never know...
What if RA9 is a model that was dissasembled when the machine found out he was deviant like kara except kara got lucky? RA900
10:06 the Chloe face looks like "i bear no eye to see"...
no it's fine if connor shoots chloe, he'll still become deviant. i did, and still become deviant connor in the end.
I feel like hank is the best mate to have Ben if your a robot he still treats you like a human when you get to know him
AI is programmed with two sets of code that separates them from other computer programs.
