Maybe a stupid question haha but have Royal Mail accepted your parcels even though you've resized the label to be smaller than their required 6"x4"? I've just bought this printer then read online that Royal Mail don't allow for their Click & Drop labels to be resized and wondered if you had any issues with this?
Hi Jordan, thanks for checking the video and your question - not a stupid one at all. I have had parcels accepted at my Post Office and also put some letters into letterboxes, inc. ones for abroad and they have all worked. I think the main thing they care about is if the barcode and/or QR code scans correctly first time. However, I guess some Post Offices may object if they wanted to, or would be within their rights to as you point out. Probably makes sense to do a test package first at your Post Office, but of course be sure first the codes are scanning by using an app on your phone as I do. Please post back (no pun 😂) on how it goes. My usual plug, that I hope if this video is of use you might consider giving it a like and checking out the other content / consider subscribing. Thanks 👍
Really helpful video! I’ve been cutting and sellotaping labels on for months, I tried playing with label size but couldn’t get it to work. Off to try a test package!

HI - Can you please help? I cannot seem to get this to work. The only way I can import the label into P-Touch is by importing it as an image but then when it is printed, the quality is extremely poor
Hi thank you for this useful video. is there a quicker process in shipping etc because I get 300 orders all at once and this seems time consuming to snip them all individually and paste etc. I look forward to your reply, thanks in advance!

Thank you. Really helpful. Can you set all your postage labels to the same size the first time instead of doing it each time. I just ordered a Brother QL 700 but was worried it would be the wrong size for ‘4x6 inch’ Royal Mail labels.
Hi Deborah, thanks for the kind comment. It'd be great if you can 'like' the video so RUclips knows it's useful and if you like my other Brother Label Printer video or any of the other content on the channel please do consider subscribing. With regards to the size....with this approach I don't edit the size of the default label in the Brother software, just copy and paste a larger image (from the Royal Mail PDF) into it.....so there's not really the option to adjust the size as Royal Mail only send the PDF expecting the default standard size. It's a workaround to scale the image as the label printer cannot print the 4x6 ones to actual size. I'm not sure if this helps or answers your question(?)
Thanks Rebecca, I'm glad it's of use, that's great to hear. Please do give the video a like if you haven't already so RUclips knows it's useful content. I'm not sure on the standard dimension of the Hermes label, but the method I show could be applied for sure as at the core of it it's just a copy and paste that rescales the image slightly. The key thing is if the barcode will scan successfully afterwards (I think Hermes just use a barcode - correct me if I'm wrong). You can test the scanning with a free app on your phone as I show in this video. If I get to try it I'll post an update, likewise if you have one to test with and can try and scan it, do update us on your results. Hi Mark, thanks for checking the video and glad it works well.
