These guys are great, 100% in communication. Hope to work with them for a custom aquatic turtle aquarium! When I’m not broke, lol. When you want quality you pay for quality, totally worth it!
That was a really cool video. I agree with you that a longer shorter tank has the appeal being there's a lot of viewing area as well as having a great amount of square footage that gives you plenty of aquascaping room and of course, keeps the fishy friends happy. I have a 15 gallon column tank and it's fine but it's a pain in the butt to work on or clean. I should have gone with a 20 long after opening this one and a traditional 10 gallon. Thanks again for a great video. I been watching a lot of yours lately. Keep it up!
Hey Jason. Greetings from New York. Been watching your videos, great work you guys do. Started getting involved with aquarium field recently while trying to redo a big tank at my job. Bumped into lots of difficulties but the one that is intriguing me the most is of how to find those tiny circular bumps that it's placed between glasses to avoid silicone getting squeezed out. Would love Would deeply appreciate if you could help me out with any information. I looked up all over the internet can't seem to find it all. Huge thanks you all. Big hug
Thanks for posting this, you did a great job showing it so clearly. There is something therapeutic about watching this kind of work! The table on the machine that cut the glass panels, I noticed the glass was very thick but the fellow pushed them around with one hand. Was there air assist on the table? I would think they would be harder to move. Thanks again!!
That's an amazing set up. I just wish, with all the capability they have, that they can help with another issue that's been plaguing the aquatic community for years and that's "BROKEN FRAMES AND BRACES". They don't sell their frames separately and I believe they're the only vendors with metal frames that are braced with removable hardware. I just picked up 125 gallon from craigslist for $40. Glass has absolutely no scratches or corner cracks but the one of the braces is broken. I've removed the top and bottom trims, resealed tank, but now I having trouble finding 1 piece replacement frame.
I’m sorry, but why does it look like it’s not a glass edge like what you’re talking about at 11:20? It looks like it has been covered with metal. Confused.
hello friend I have a problem with my aquarium 6 feet length 6 feet high and 30 inches wide in this aquarium, if he puts a carp in the aquarium, then he sits down and becomes sick What is the matter you can guide?
Hard to say. If the fish behaves normally in other tanks there is probably something going on with water parameters (temp, pH, nitrogen, O2) perhaps? I would start there.
There's like a million options! : -) I'll just give you what I would do if I had a new 28 gallon. 4 of your favorite cory cat, 12 of the same rasbora - lampeye, lampchop, brillant green, or any of the other kinds would probably work, one bristlenose pleco and a honey gourami! Just make sure the tank is cycled first and add the fish over time. Good luck!
It's definitely more expensive, but usually much higher quality. Better glass, thicker glass, much better silicone application. You could certainly reach out to them regarding the cost.
hi ,, i am from indonesia i really like your video and i am a beginner aquarium fan. I want to ask where or what if I want to have an aquarium like that? I am a fan of arowana fish.
Ok here is where I loose it. In the part you show the stands up close 5:55 and all I see are SKINNY 1" X 3" pieces of wood to make the stands. And that stand by the length EASILY was atleast for a 125 gallon tank or any 72"/ 6 foot tank. How are we making stands at home out of 2X4 and 2X6 and here they are using LESS wood and way way thinner wood? Makes no sense to me
They use steel-framed stands enclosed in wood for heavier tanks I believe. Just depends on the size of the tank. I'm always amazed that the store-bought stands that came with my 125 and 150 gallon tanks held the weight without any issues given they are compressed board. Custom Aquariums at least uses solid wood. : -)
okay i was not going to say anything.. but i got to 16 minutes and 38 seconds.. had to pause it to write this... dude.. your favourite letter... it is P.. if you wrote down everything you said in this video high-lite it you will see . i kept picking up on it as you capitalised the P every time :D check it out :P
just burst out laughing at least if nobody believes me watch the recap at the end... p.s it was actually a fun video to watch :) so i do thank you for it!

Here is Creative Pet Keepings video - check it out! ruclips.net/video/7LsE6Wf2ciU/видео.html
11:21 Holy small detail to ensure the silicone seam is perfect to make sure the glasses are not too close! WOW!
Good day please tell me where i can buy these micro dots ?. regards Simon
Of all the Custom Aquarium tours I watch on youtube, yours is the best providing important info and details. 👍
Thank you so much! Appreciate it!
this is my day to day job and i think its interesting to see others do it too
That's so cool!
Yes! Hello! Can you please tell if those glas ware regular glas or laminated glas?
I'm not sure. You might be able to call them to find out?
Awesome video. Really wanted to hear the workers talk about the process from their perspective.
That would be cool! Most are too busy to be on camera. : -)
Ahhhhh that turtle and chameleon cage is FLIPPING AMAZING!
Thanks for sharing, it's pretty amazing to see the processes that go on behind the scenes.
I agree - I want to do something like that at some point!

I really enjoyed the tour and the thought they put into making the tanks!!
Imazing....a dream for any tanker! 🐟
Lflower1 Stars for sure!
Super cool that you got to go on this tour!
It was an interesting thing to see!
I build my own aquariums and am a fairly good carpenter, and that tour was very interesting. Would have been nicer to be there in person.
That amphibious tank was amazing.
I like that one too!
This is great! I just placed my order today!!!
Cool!

I'm with you - those taller tanks are not fun to clean. :-)
Thanks for taking the time to show us. Aewsome
Thanks for watching!
At 11:22 what is the name of the glass or how do I go about getttimg
Glass w that bubble?
Well done. Very interesting to see the meticulous build process you get with Custom Aquariums. Someday....
It was fun!
Is the only adhesion silcone? I had heard the glass panels are put together with epoxy and then sealed with silicone. Is that not true?
With the glass aquariums it’s often just silicone.

Hey - check out King of DIY. He’s done some tank builds but I don’t think he used those spacers - I think he used something else (maybe pins?).
Nice tour as well. Thx for bringing us along.
Thanks for watching!
Amazing dream tanks with exceptional craftsmanship.
Totally agree😃
fantastic tour, thanks very much for the vid..................all the best......dougie from the uk
Appreciate you watching!
Where is this facility located?
They are in Northern Wisconsin.
Hi. Have you video how to build your standers?
I have two out there - one for a 125 double stand and a 75 gallon double stand!
@@PrimeTimeAquatics I have not found a video of how you make them.
Thanks for showing this video. I'm still waiting for my tank. It's killing me. Lol
very interesting. Thanks for sharing
Thank you for watching!

Ya, it was the coolest thing - like a giant air hockey table! Thanks for watching!
thanks! that is a great video. loved the tour!!
Nice one, any idea what silicone do they use?
Hari Haran I believe what they use is proprietary.
If you live in the states the best silicone to use is momentive RTV100
Searched it up and it is Asi aquarium silicone

Any chance you can melt it back together?
Prime Time Aquatics yeah, I researched plastic welding but you need the proper tools and the plastic has to be the same type.
I’m sorry, but why does it look like it’s not a glass edge like what you’re talking about at 11:20? It looks like it has been covered with metal. Confused.
That's what the glass edge looks like after it goes through the finishing process!
I see some tanks that I would love to have! Great tour and info!

I just ordered a 28 gallon tank. What community fish should I mix any idea and how many should I keep
Prime Time Aquatics cool idea sir I will defiantly apply that ...thank you
Excellent video and info!
Thanks for the fantastic video...
Fascinating.
Is it more expensive to buy a custom-made fish tank and could I have an idea of what a plain glass 4 to 5 foot custom-made Fish-tank would cost.
It's definitely more expensive, but usually much higher quality. Better glass, thicker glass, much better silicone application. You could certainly reach out to them regarding the cost.
WELL DONE VIDEO........AGAIN.....
Will they ship glass
I'm not sure if they ship just glass? Worth a call?
Very interesting Jason. Thanks for sharing :)
Another great video, thanks!
Hey thanks for your vid I'm new to you and for sure a new sub thanks for your hard work bud
I love these kind of tours - any German residents out there able to do an eheim tour?
All Eheim and Juwel factorys are secret but everything goes with robots.
No acrylic tanks ?
No, they specialize in high-quality glass tanks only right now.
What's the biggest tank you ever manufactured in gallons?
hi ,, i am from indonesia i really like your video and i am a beginner aquarium fan. I want to ask where or what if I want to have an aquarium like that? I am a fan of arowana fish.
Excellent video
Thank you!
18 inch tall is prefect for me plus its easy 2 clean
Nice safty gloves
Very interesting

FIRST! :P
PS- what am I doing at the beginning of the video? Lol I have no clue..
You are doing pre-game stretching!

Too funny :-)
NA ALL THOSE TANK ARE ALL TOO SHALLOW 8 FEET AND 24 INCH HIGH ? GIVE ME A BREAK IF I EVER GET A CUSTOM IT BETTER BE 3 TO 4 FEET DEEP(HIGH)
Depends on what you’re keeping. I want a shorter tank for some
of my cichlids that don’t use the upper part of the tank! 😀
Great. Can you make me a 20,000 gallon tank for 350,000?
cool interesting insights. t(h)ank you! :)
