As a new Royal Enfield Meteor 350 owner in the US, THANK YOU! Thanks for speaking in English, so I could understand what you said. You've given me even MORE ideas on what to do with my bike... :)

Pollution karwate time catalytic converter install kar lenge. I want your suggestion on this.
What’s the use of doing such things apart from weight reduction and little thumpy sound ar't it going to pollute more now ... Thought of it earlier but did't do it besause of pollution and one thing more these types of under square engines require a little backpressure to run efficiently these are torquei engines they don' t behave properly in a free flow exhaust ... Thankyou
I'd buy this over the Honda CB350 anyday, (Which is amazing as well).. The Meteor's looks are spot on for me. The gearing and the navigation system is much better than the CB350.
It's funny our govt is so strict about vehicle emission norms especially bikes lol while In my city i can still see old govt cars transport buses/trucks emitting out black smoke and even industries and no one does anything about whereas a 3 year old scooty has to do a pollution test,I mean fr 😂

I'm looking for a bit more power rather than more noise. On the Classic 500 lots of people in the UK made a conversion that improved breathing with a more open exhaust and a K&N air filter, then changed the gearbox sprocket for one with an extra tooth. This greatly improved the motorway performance. I think the Meteor 350 would benefit with the same treatment
Nice Vid Abhinav. Had some queries about that mod. Removing the CatCon will reduce the back pressure to the inlet valves which might affect the combustion and the valves in the long run.. Has that been taken care of by inducing more glasswool in the stock RE exhausts... Just a query though.
After removing the catalytic converter in meteor350 is there any changes comes while driving and how the engine is performing after the removal of catalytic converter.
Sir removing catalytic converter from meteor cause any warranty related issues, or it affects engine, / any main stand issue? Because I also wanted to make same modification, please replay
Its not loud because that exhaust is designed to produce low frequency tone. Use complete hollow exhaust for loud sharp sound like old bullets. Nice content BTW 😉👍
Can you still use the main stand? I say this as I think that the cat has rubber stops on it for the main stand. If you remove the cat their's nothing to stop the main stand.
thnx brother. I want to ask you what if I want to replace the whole chrome silencer with the black one. not just half of the end but complete silencer. is it possible in anyway? plz reply. thnx

Generally I like your blogs, but this time I must say, you sould not implant these short of ideas. You well know these are illegal, and it was done to reduce pollution. And by any mean we should go for pollution norms than the sound. I love the RE dug dug but pollution needs to be checked and I am ready to compromise on sound.
Abhinav, that's a much better, thumpy sound you got there. Brilliant. And, I have a doubt. Will the removal of the cat - con box affect the engine? Will the tuning require any adjustments? It could affect the amount of back pressure generated, I think.
After watching your video again, I have a question: how do you stow the center stand when not in use? On my bike, it folds up beneath and against the collector box. Did you remove the center stand too, since it doesn't have the collector box to fold against anymore? I couldn't see in the video, hence my question. Thanks!
If I want to do the same thing on a meteor where can I get that link pipe...is that particularly available there or anywhere..? Please upload the video that how you guys done that..bcoz I love the way you did..even I want to do so..plz help me dude...
Hello Abhinav, I also have same exhaust for my meteor, but I've removed just the dbkiller. I want to know what would be the downside of removing dbkiller apart from challan? Will there be huge impact on the Engine & its valves? Please let me know.
I think keeping the cat which will maintain the exhausts back pressure and putting a short end can on would improve looks and reduce weight while still being clean but sounding more aggressive I feel
The iconic bullet sound is annoying to some but many like it. I'm not talking about those hollow exhaust which are available for 900 rupees. I'm talking about the original indori exhaust from Royal Enfield. The sound is, well, iconic. The classic's long and silent exhaust also sounds very nice. The Meteor, just don't sound like an RE. But you gotta give some to get some. The vibrations are gone and now it is a comfortable touring bike with great fuel economy.
A straight Catalytic onverter would have been better, for both, meeting exhaust targets, and, aural delight. But nothing beats a pushrod Bullet Engine exhaust note; with counter balanced pushrod Engines, we could have had the best of both worlds.
Next you'll suggest steam locomotives must make a comeback because they sound better than the EMDs. RE ran with pushrod for way too long. It's good they moved on to OHC.
