A little advice… that bear spray is actually weaker than some of the actual defense sprays. Get you a couple of smaller canisters of “Sabre Red “ or “Pom” . Both great options. But realistically…you need a firearm.
I don’t have the exact numbers, but I am about 5’8” and it fits just about right for me with the front seat all the way up. The crosstrek may be a little cramped for someone as tall as you, but maybe subaru bigger trunk may offer a bit more length. Or folding both seats down and sleeping diagonally.
It does. I keep the windows cracked to help, but it still builds up. Not quite sure how to prevent that in the cooler months when I can’t have the windows down. Would love any input! My windows get quite streaky on trips haha
SeeBlog, I place (screw) a strong screen (1/8 or 1/4 inch steel mesh) over the vent . My Ford trucks vents are below the rear window. However I had a mouse somehow get in through the heater! I don't know how that mouse got in, but the intake air is between the front windshield and the hood. I may also screen that off too, but probably will be Looking bad?

What are the dimensions of your sleeping platform? I'm 6'4" and curious if something like this would work for me.

Your car has multiple vents for ventilation, that's how small mice & snakes get in!
