Visiting Osaka Castle

Getting to visit Osaka Castle and view all the architecture, along with artifacts that remain. Place is such a symbol of power. Although it was brief and not much time to view everything. I used to work in Morinomiya, literally across the street from the castle grounds. I went there on my lunch breaks when the weather was nice. The ruins of the Naniwa palace (7th century) are just across the street to the SW. Further south, in Sakai, are the Mozu tombs (4th-6th centuries) which contain the Daisen kofun, which is one of the largest ancient tombs in the world. It's not as tall, but it's larger by volume than the great pyramid of Khufu.
