    We’ve all got quirks and habits here and there that might not be the most productive things to do, but some bad habits might be sabotaging your life if left unchecked. Maybe not in a way that you notice at the moment, but I’m sure we can all look back at our lives and recognize toxic habits that have held us back.
    The toxic habits we’ll discuss below are things we all do at some point. Some of them are habits we’re taught as children, others are things we do to protect ourselves from fear and judgement, and a few are behaviours that we slip into when we’re cruising through life on autopilot and not practising self-awareness.

    Dear Shlloka akka,
    Your videos are very informative and useful. However, can you please keep the screen shots steady and not keep flashing one shot after the other. It is so tiring to watch those videos so I just listen to the audio but then miss out on the text that you incorporate in between. Maybe teenagers can adjust their eyes and brain to grasp such fast paced videos but I feel drained out after seeing your videos. Please akka can you keep it steady and gradual🙏
    Also, when I forward your videos to senior citizens, all of them have come back saying that the delivery of information ( speech) is very fast paced for them to want to listen to the entire video. Akka, please don’t take this as criticism. Your videos are very informative and what I appreciate is that you give solutions to the problem stated.

    Thank you for this video. Yes, I made Cereal and bread in the morning for breakfast for 2weeks and noticed lethargy in me and my family and now back to proper Indian breakfast. Everything that you have said is on the spot about Breaking the fast ❤. Thank you again

      Namaskaram, lukewarm head bath can be taken from head, but do not take it with hot or cold water. It alters the blood circulation.
      Bathing from head calms down the temperament and the flow of thought. Pranam

    I think this cold water has to be defined first. Where is the cold water coming from? Is it coming from an water well or overhead concrete tank or plastic tank? If it is from a well/borewell then may be fine but water from concrete tank is overwhelmingly cold or I may say unhealthily cold. Same may be with plastic tanks.
    I think water has to cold enough or warm enough compared to the room or atmosphere temperature so that it is very comfortable for the body and skin biologically or as per Ayurveda and not as per one's convenience.

      Namaskaram, it’s best if you can get water from wells or or river, and if it’s from an overhead tank, then collect it in a bucket, bring it to room temperature and then use it. You can warm it, if the weather is too cool. And taking a cold water bath needs practice and should be gradually adopted. Pranam

    Namaskaram. Great video. Dr. Huberman is an excellent resource for complicated and very technical scientific information that is broken down into easily digestible terms so the lay people can understand it.
    What are your thoughts on intermittent fasting ? I consume water and tea for 18 hours and eat within a 6 hour period.

    Akka Till November, I used to bath with Cold Water but in December it's difficult to bath with Cold water(usually with Luke warm water) but I will try 🙏
    Next is, Generally I ate 2wice a day
    My first meal is in between 10:00 am to 11:30 am and next meal is in between 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm
    So Akka is it necessary to take morning Breakfast ? 🙏
    My Last query is, I occasionally drink Tea and Coffee(7-8 cups in a month) in Winter with lot of Milk, Ginger, Black Pepper and Turmeric
    So does this amalgamation is good ? 🙏

      Namaskaram, No, but if it’s more than 3 hours from waking up, then you can have either fruit or soaked nuts.
      You can have spiced milk during winter.

    How about upma,dosa,potato Paratha, chapathi, poha, idly and puffed rice for breakfast?

      Namaskaram, it depends on the time. Breakfast should be in moderate quantity -- at 8-10 am:- 1 bowl vegetable upma/ poha / khichdi or 1 stuffed paratha or 2 roti is good enough. Pranam.

    Showering with cold water is a bit difficult for me in winter, I'm in Denmark and it's very cold in these parts... But if I use lukewarm water?

      Same here in Canada. With -20C outside. It is difficult to shower with cold 🥶 water.

      She says 5 to 8 degrees celsius below body temperature...that's not cold 😅 it is lukewarm
      I my self are taking showers in 10 degrees and it feels amazing 👏

    I am sorry but you r so wrong here.. Plz research before spreading this. Water should always start from feet slowly massaging it all over and then lot of water on navel head comes last so that once doesn't feel that shock which becomes reasons for blood clots later in life
