Got mine fixed last week as the fault kept on coming back every week. It ended up being the wheel bearing and speed sensor that needed replacing. Maybe you should take it to a specialist who has a computer to hook up to your OBD port. Only cost me under £300 but was peace of mind I got it done
That price is crazy. That’s a 30 min job. Someone that it’s good with their hands can do it! I’m glad that I’m ok with tools. I’m pretty sure imma have to replace my furniture when I get back home after Milton flies over my place. So I don’t need another expense like this if I can avoid it by doing it myself. Thanks for the vid and showing is the way the guy took it apart! That really helped me figure it out. At least I have a baseline and guidance into where to start
Update. I needed to change the wheeI speed sensor. COO31 and C0034. I changed drivers side speed sensor, and it didn't remove the message or the check engine light , so I changed the passenger speed sensor, and that message went away along with the check engine light. Now I have to take it to the dealer and pay $209.88 in NJ to get the SOS TEL AID REMOVED. Besides that, everything works now.
My opinion is , the 2012- 2015 MB ABS electrical system and all its module components, BAS, ASR, Attention Assist are not engineered to last the life time of the auto. Surprisingly ,much of the system is connected together by thin fragile wires. They may be covered by thick rubber and overlooked by mechanics. Module connections get rusty and cleaning is over looked during maintenance. Thanks for sharing the info.
If you ever changed out a battery or disconnect power you can get this warning. It’s an easy fix to reset the steering angle sensor just start your engine and turn the steering wheel all the way to the right and all the way to the left. This resets the code .
I believe I have the same problem. I have a 2014 C300 and my traction control and ABS lights are on and inoperable and cruise control also does not work. It went away but I think it turns back on if I accelerate too fast and then it takes a while to accelerate. I really don’t wanna pay $1000 tho ☠️

That sounds like the modules in the driver side of the car have been shorted out. I had to replace my modules and now my horn/signal light, work. + fan is not blowing on high constantly. You can do it yourself at home you just need to order the parts

My steering wheel is slightly tilted (needs alignment I think) and this came on and when I turned it off for the night and next morning started the car and it came back on and I held the steering wheel straight after he said it was a steering angle sensor and after about 3 minutes surfing through videos it just turned off. I don’t if I’m lucky or what but I’ll give it a try before spending the 1,000$ guy🤞🏽
I have a 2013 W204 C200 and this message has been popping up intermittently for years. I've had parking sensors replaced, seatbelt buckle sensors, oxygen sensors, you name it. It still comes back. I just ignore the dam thing now. Doesn't seem to be affecting anything at all. No idea what it is. I know I'm not spending another cent on it.

@@kayslaymao8997 Mines, I got lucky. I pressured washed it and I guess I was too close to front and rear bumper sensors. I left it alone for about a week and a big thunderstorm came and the next day I went to move it, everything started working again. But I do plan on selling it cuz the dealership was saying it could cost upward to $2,000 US dollars

When this happened to your car did you lose ability to accelerate? Mine went into limp mode. I shut off car. Waited 5 to 10 minutes and it went away
