I'm interested in the issues you're having with the trailer. From what I've researched, all campers, big an small, expensive or not, are having problems. One would think by now that the manufacturers would have a handle on these things.

I'm sorry to hear about all your problems with your trailer. They don't make them like they used to. I've been following a nomad called Liz amazing and she's doing a series on all the problems that people are having with their RVs, leaks, and other problems.A lot of them are falling apart. During the pandemic there was a high demand for RV so they just threw them together unfortunately So hopefully you can get all of yours taken care of, and it's all under warranty. have a Happy Thanksgiving with your family.
@nancycain4434. An argument can be made for build quality or lack there of, but these RVs (particularly towables) were not intended for full time living. Plus the wear and tear of bouncing down the highway on a semi-daily basis takes a toll.
I have to agree ! We have class A Jayco RV it’s gorgeous! However, the warranty has expired a few months ago and fingers crossed we don’t run into any major repairs 🤞🏻🙏🏻 I want to travel like Ms Catherine. Just not ready to give up our jobs yet.

Hi Cat. Loved watching your video this week. Its always great to visit family. You do a lot of interesting things, go on many adventures to keep Life enjoyable and exciting. It takes me about an hour or so to do cleanup in my trailer after we have breakfast, not rushing. Plus we have a cat, cleaning his litter box, making our bed around him sleeping in it. Hes a joy & is 15 years old, still healthy & spry. A great part of our Life.
We too, love this lifestyle of moving on to a new place after a week or two. Lots to see in this lovely southwest.

Kat, thanks for going to Randsburg!! My parents moved out there in the 1950s when I was a few years old and my father worked on some of the mining equipment as a mechanic!! I still have pictures of it at that time period!! I over the years have driven through there on my way to the eastern Sierras!! See you on the next adventure and have a great Thanksgiving with your family and hope you get all fixed with your trailer!!
The little ghost town was interesting, but looked so terribly run down. I was surprised that there are shops there that are actually open. Nice that you could clean up your camper and spend Thanksgiving with family. Take care.

In defense of the RV industry, "camper trailers" were traditionally built for occasional use. These days, more and more people are using them for extended use. And people are demanding more features, and lighter weight, for less money. I spend 3-4 months a year in my 9 year old Rage'n toyhauler. I view things that "fail" as simple home maintenance. Love Randsburg. Been there many times over the passed 50 years. Sam's Town KOA in Vegas, is a great place to spend a little time. Stayed there many times.

that was a fun video for sure. heavy use on a travel trailer does lead to many needed repairs, but on the same token it is all well worth it. A little mooch docking once in awhile is fun too. As always, safe travels....

Hey Cat! Thanks for keeping us up to date on what’s happening with you. That old ghost town is pretty cool. I believe I was just south of there when I drove into LA back in the spring. That’s another one on the todo list. 👍🏻 Just my opinion- but I believe a lot of the travel trailers built today are designed around folks using them maybe a few times a year. Living in one full time may call for some upgraded parts more along the lines of what is used in a house. I say anywhere you can, if it’s affordable to to it, upgrade to the best quality you can get. 😃

That red dirt is so microscopically fine that it gets everywhere. Then if it gets damp or exposed to oil film in the kitchen and it makes a mess. Smart to take advantage of being in the less dusty suburbs to do a thorough cleaning. So nice to get everything really truly all clean. And I don’t care for blinds for the most part. Curtains are nice. Blackout curtains can be nice. Though your big picture window might be served better with more lightweight ones. I’ve passed randsburg a million times but have never been. Thanks for the mini tour. I’ve always been curious to see it.

We've been up and down 395 many time and never knew about this town. I will definitely stop there next time we're in the area. Thank you for telling us about it.
In October I enjoyed staying at Boulder Beach campground at Lake Mead NRA ($10/nite senior rate) and going into Las Vegas for a Cirque du Soleil show at the Bellagio. What a contrast! Also rode my bike on the historic railroad trail to Hoover Dam and played pickleball in town. More variety!

I saw you sweeping with a broom. you said dust is your main problem. I bought a swipper-like mop at DOLLAR TREE. It was 1.25 for the handle and 1.25 per pad. the pads are washable. There is a fuzzy pad for dusting and a short knap pad for mopping. I love them both. I can start with the ceiling go to the walls and then the floor in my camper. It takes up very little space Now the cleaning is done, I loved your videos.
I lived in Ridgecrest for 20 years before moving to Idyllwild. Another great shoot for you might be the Burro Schmidt mine. There are several cool things to do around that Ridgecrest area. Thanks for the video! Happy Thanksgiving 🦃 Be Safe❤️

Randsburg was fascinating! As for trailers, they do move a lot as opposed to regular houses, so some things will shake loose over time. Interested to see the curtains you'll choose. Meanwhile, happy Thanksgiving - eat LOTS!

Come to Montana. It’s BEAUTIFUL. You can park your house on wheels here and plug in and use washer/dryer and the wife and I can take you through East Glacier which is only 60 miles from here. Just give me a holler

Catherine, my friend has the same trailer, he’s had a lot of problems with his from the start, Janu 2023. His electric Jack failed, his microwave failed, first time used. Then his refrigerator quit working. Very disappointing after spending all that money

I've been to Randsburg a few times and the high light was the milk shakes at the soda fountain in the general store, they still make them the old fashioned way and give it to you in a metal cup, did you see the bottle tree? Thanks for another wonderful video
