@@EdgaroAlanoyes they are forced to use the CFA franc and store 50% of all their resources in the french bank when they gained independence France didn’t want them to have full independence so they were given “Monitored Sovereignty” when any of these nations tried to abandon the currency their leaders got assassinated or France funded rebel militias to cause uproar there is many videos on youtube about it this is just scratching the surface
Guys, I know that Western Sahara was under Spanish territory, but at the moment it is not recognized by the UN, and is part of Morocco, so I marked it with it. Maybe in your opinion this is not quite correct, in that case I apologize for the mistake.
it must be remembered that Algeria was the first country to request its independence and that it had to engage in a violent 8-year war which at its peak cost France 2 billion at the time per day and all this while training soldiers from other African countries including Nelson Mandela who was arrested immediately after his return to South Africa. And if Morocco and Tunisia had their independence it is because France gave it to them, to be able to mobilize more people and resources in Algeria.
They're still controlled by France :(
No
Shucks
@@EdgaroAlano yes they are because of their currency and stuff watch a video about it or research
