    • @johnhildreth6224
      @johnhildreth6224 3 года назад +5

      @@pulce-kz9to it's most likely just a combination of potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate, and Plaster of Paris with a smidge of talc powder. The Plaster is what allows it to cure hard so that you can grind and make a powder. The potassium sorbate and sodium benzoate are preservatives that will inhibit and prevent the growth of bacteria and fungus/mold. Talcum will help prevent moisture in the mixed resin. This will help keep it safe and stable long term after mixing with resin. Citric acid might work also. But it would most likely eat through the resin by itself unless you add sodium benzoate also. It will neutralize the acid. I have not tried the citric acid so I can't vouch for it. So, you could use citric acid maybe, but only if you use sodium benzoate also. Those are all cheap ingredients you can find at most stores and coincidentally all those ingredients are white so it won't change the color of the milk powder. You will have to play with the ratios a bit at first though. Everyone keeps this formula such a big secret when all you have to do is talk to a few food scientists or chemists and they can tell you what the "proprietary formula" is. Hopefully this helps.

      This is true. It has to be made mostly of resin though or it wouldn’t be hard, this is not uncommon for any kind of resin based jewellery. I used more milky podwer in mine and is sunk to the bottom (which was the front) so i could easily see the breastmilk in the necklace. It turned out beautiful.

      It only takes 5ml to make a large amount of jewellery. It’s a great way to celebrate the hard work it takes to feed your child. Many mothers use old or expired breastmilk for things like jewellery which is otherwise wasted.
