    Thanks for the video. Very easy to do. The hole size is actually 5/8 not 3/4.

    Awesome. I have also found a product called Kup-Lift to stop that annoying splashing.

    Also, I did have a mishap once with the lid coming loose, and the float valve allowed water to overflow onto the countertop and floor. Since then, my failsafe fix is an overflow tube in the tank, with the drain line going into the sink.

    Great idea! My damn nespresso machine's tank is too small for a float valve though but will keep this in mind for next machine.

      Could find a smaller float or maybe a vertical float valve

    May want to change the link for the Tee connection. The one that comes up states that it is not for potable water. Thank you for the video, super helpful.

      Guess he didn't give a ____ about giving people lead poisoning. Still has a link to a product that specifically says not to use for potable water.

    Awesome. Does the water when filled up push the lid off? Good stuff ❤

    • @HomeDIYDan
      @HomeDIYDan  Год назад +1

      Nope, just adjust the ball valve to shut off at the proper point

      Mine didn’t push up, but “others” in my household don’t pay attention to what they are doing, and disturbed the lid, causing an overflow once. See my other comment for the fix.

    I’m glad to see I’m not the only person who’s figured this hack out. Why Keurig can’t include this as an option baffles me. The parts are cheap. Even sold as an accessory, the modified water tank could be sold with the parts installed.

      Oh I know like this would be so easy to be an accessory option baffles me why they don’t sell it as a kit

    This is a great idea. Also, you can heat metal and melt a hole through plastic.
