People really underestimate the greatness that is the Chow. I love the ones who are mixed with some German Shepherd, because you get the best of both worlds. I also love how fluffy Chow fur is and their cat-like personality is funny at times. They are so amazing. 🥰 You have great scissor technique that brings out the beauty of these dogs. Thank you for sharing your shop and how you do grooming for each breed. You have amazing talent.

Oh no your not supposed yo make the top coat the same length as the under coats. This is a double coated dog and making the hair all 1 length can cause the double coats to not move air properly and trap heat against the skin. Plus the top layer is suppose to protect the under coat from rain and dirt so it can do its job. No fault of the groomer because they are just doing thier job and I'm glad they used scissors (this shows they know quite alot about chow chow and knew not to shave

Actually its a horrible job as it destroyed its natural 2 lair coat. Should never be allowed to own a pair of clippers.
