Maybe I'm just getting old but don't these commercials seem more personal and fun as well as funny than the majority of the commercials today?
They do. They were way better commercials in the 1980's and 1990's. My favorite are from the 80's. The people who make commercials these days should study these old ones. Back in the day the commercials seem to have a little story. Some were a little dorky but fun to watch. Now I don't even want to watch them. I skip them! They are too loud and annoying. I miss the 80's!

I fall asleep to Dave’s Archive commercials from the 80s to early 90s. It’s crazy comforting bc in my room I can go back in time for just a bit. I have a sleep playlist and it sends me to bed. When my show would be on and I was fighting sleep to stay up and watch it as soon as the commercials kicked on I was done for!! 😴
Me too! Sometimes if I'm tired and wanna sleep I fall asleep to these commercials. Not because I'm bored but because it's comfortable white noise.
Man so many memories. That ABC Friday Night Movie theme actually brought tears to my eyes lol. Life is good.
As someone who wasnt alive to see these commercials when they aired, I'm glad this channel exists to give me a glimpse into the past
I grew up with these commercials. They gave ideas on what I could bug my parents to get me. Plus Saturday morning cartoons with a big bowl of soggy Honeycomb, Rice Crispies or Frosted Flakes cereal was heaven.

I totally forgot about Pizazz mousse. We had that giant heavy video panasonic camera. My friends and I used to make fake commercials with it. Lol MdDLTs and diet coke were my favorite! Born in 1973.
Thanks for another great compilation! I love playing them in the background while I’m baking or cleaning around the house. I’ll admit, sometimes, I just watch an hour + one, like a favorite show. As Miss Pearl Bailey would say “pure ecstasy, honey” 😂
Also, I remember watching this Friday Night Movie, “The BabySitter”, when it aired. Stephanie Zimbalist, as little Quinn Cummings’ babysitter; while slowly driving Patty Duke Astin, mad and a wedge between she and Shatner; while also working her young sexual prowess on Shatner. Was quite risqué for the times.

It wasn't until 2019 or so that I discovered this to be true (I've never mentioned it on the channel). After having conversations with some of my subscribers and supporters, they have either let me know about their autism, or it was in their profile. I find it really interesting, and would love to learn more as to why my content is found to be interesting to this demographic.
May also explain why I'm so into mallsoft as well.

I don't know about Fred Flintstone, but that actor did dozens of cartoon voices.
Alan Melivn. (Sam the Butcher on 'The Brady Bunch'.) He actually did a bunch of characters on 'The Flintsones'! Including SUPER STONE 'Be Hee Hee Ha Ha!'

Seriously!! My all time favorite commercial. Share the Fantasy. Chanel no.5. Would literally stop me in my tracks have me running for the tv. Never since has a commercial done that to me. Easily 40 plus years ago.

My aunt had a Renault until the mid 90's. Apparently she had to go to American Motors to buy a French automobile. That sounds like a contradaction in terms.
Technically Renault owned American Motors in 85-86. Jeep owners hate to admit that some of the best Jeeps ever made were built by the French.
