I was once gifted this book by a boyfriend, but I never got round to reading it. Now I've listened to it, in its entirety, and I really can't understand why everyone is going on about how brilliant it is. It isn't brilliant, apart from the few nuggets of old-hat wisdom in it. Is it because the characters are muslim? Are we being politically correct? I don't know what the fuss is about. It's a little story, with, as I said, a few nuggets of wisdom in it, that we've all heard many times before
