  • Sup brotha! In this video I'll be breaking down the 5 mistakes you're making with the kettlebell snatch.
    That's right.
    This is a continuation of our common kettlebell mistakes series and...

    I’m seriously tempted to agree with you on the KB Jerk! It is my favorite KB exercise when attempting to move up to a heavier KB!

    This is such clear teaching all throughout, and I found it to be incredibly useful. Currently learning the snatch and I'm excited to go and apply what I've learned here. A big 'thank you' for this clear and thoughtful content!

    thank you for the tutorial. It's great to see some content on the low pull snatch - I've been trying to learn this variation for a year now - with no success. I'm either overpulling or not taming the arc. Now I will use my punching back as an external cue. Probably will have to humbly lower the weight.
    Do you see some merit in doing low pulls exclusively before I'm able to snatch the bell correctly?

    • @thekettlebellcoach
      @thekettlebellcoach  2 года назад +3

      Glad this has been helpful for. Appreciate you watching. Yeah, if you're still learning the snatch, you could make he low pull a focus.
      Here's a 3 part series I did on the snatch which could be of help for you too.

      @@thekettlebellcoach thank you so much! I think snatch is an exercise you learn till the end of your life :) I managed to get to 32kg a+a snatches, but, as I said, I'm unable to tame the arc. Right now I'm binge watching your channel, so gonna implement all the cues for my snatch and military press :)

    I've been doing high rep snatches for years with a deep squat for almost a decade, 90 degrees knee angle. But i saw some vids that say to hinge and not squat.
    Why not squat? Nobody ever explains that. I feel like its harder, and i only stop squatting so deep when I'm exhausted

      @strongashec awesome thanks! ive been squatting less for the past few weeks and it feels like it's less demanding cardio wise and more demanding on muscles somehow. I always did shallow squats to make the cardio easier when I was at my limit
