South Africa is falling apart and some school pupils in Britain and America fail; why is this?

  • Until the mid-1990s, South Africa was the most prosperous and advanced country in Africa. It is now failing fast. In both Britain and the United States, one ethnic group in particular struggles to achieve well, either academically or in the workplace. Could there be a connection between these two situations?

Radec You say, "South Africa is what Britain is going to become".
Yes, that is the plan of globalism. Communism is the global socialism of the World Revolution. The Communist who murdered 66 million Russian Christians after 1917 are today using mass migration to destroy European cultural identity and nationhood in preparation for dissolving all countries into their borderless world of collectivized global feudalism, populated by deracinated mongrelized illiterate manual workers with no personal rights or property/inheritance rights, all ruled by a one world government - all of this has been the publicly declared aim of communism since Moscow 1917 and it is actually happening all around us today.

My brother-in-law served 30 years in the French special forces. as you can imagine they spent a lot of time in west Africa. I always remember a story he told me. One of the “humanitarian missions” was to go down to a small village with supplies to teach the locals how to dig a well, pump the water plant crops thus producing food for themselves and their families and become somewhat self-sufficient.
Unfortunately when they returned the following season to see how they had got on, it turned out that as soon as they had left the equipment was sold so they could buy beer.

When I was young, many years ago, children from white, working class families who failed the 11plus were dismissed as dunces or duffers and packed off to secondary modern schools. The children that passed the examination, whether it be by their own efforts or by receiving extra tuition in advance of taking the exam were sent to grammar schools which were better funded and staffed with teachers of a higher calibre and probably motivated by higher salaries. Better quality facilities were also provided with things such as sports and games equipment, well equipped labs and a general aura instilled into it’s pupils that we were the “chosen ones”!
I’m all for equality but why should children of black African descent, and their parents, expect preferential treatment if the children show low academic aptitude? The children in my day from white, working class background never received preferential treatment then and still, today do not!

    • @jimbo2629
      @jimbo2629 2 года назад +36

The 11 plus was mainly an intelligence test. The more academic pupils went to more academic schools. Secondary modern schools were very well equipped especially for practical skills. Teaching and discipline were better than today. Pupils usually left with skills appropriate to their future jobs at that time. When politicians and educationalists introduced comprehensive schools they knew all standards would fall, but they were shocked by how bad it got and has become the norm. Comprehensive schools took from small catchment areas . Grammar and secondary modern schools took from wide areas with diversity of social status. That is why housing is now so expensive if you want your children to go to a better state school. My local schools took from the city’s worst areas and the poshest suburbs. So much for social engineering.

A personal account here. I have 2 Carers. Both are black Zimbabweans. They are both pleasant enough, however I cannot ignore some concerns. Both have degrees, so are educated. Regardless of this there is something “missing” that is becoming more apparent. The issue is the ability to use initiative and think dynamically to any degree at all. An example is, I have explained at length and repeatedly that when I am in pain I can’t “think” properly and don’t want to talk much. On these occasions, I tell them I am in pain. They will stand there looking at me baffled as what to do. If I don’t tell and organise them they will stand looking at me for an hour, then leave. There are other examples such as they generally prepare meals for me. Bread might run out and they wont think to tell me, so next meal they come in and get half way through preparing beans on toast then tell me there is no bread as it was used that morning. I understand that these might seem like trivial points individualally, but cumulatively it becomes frustrating as I feel like I am managing children most days.

I can give you many example, but I'll give you one of my example relevant to this video:
A few decades ago, I worked at a very large Australian public Secondary School (High school) as the Head Groundsman. A lower class area, South of Brisbane. The school was predominately White, but had a large Eastern Asian and Black student base as well.
If I saw a student drop rubbish on the ground, the response would generally be as follows:
White Teenagers would say "Yeah sorry Sir", while giving you a smart azz smirk, but would go and pick it up, usually stopping at the bin, pointing and saying "In here Sir?" ...
Asian Teenagers would say almost nothing, but stare at you with daggers in their eyes with a "How dare you talk down to me telling me to do something". I always had the feeling they were looking around for a parent to go pick it up for them. but they would always go and pick it up.
But Black Teenagers would look you straight in the eye and say " Wasn't me Sir!". Lie with utter apathy without a spec of guilt or what was right, and you always had to threaten reporting them before they would slowly get up, and slow as they could walk to the rubbish, and put it in the bin.
I would add that when a class was outside, White and Asians would be mostly doing their work as prescribed, some mucking around, but all the Blacks would be doing something else, like rolling paper up and shooting imaginary hoops against the wall.
I worked outback Australia drilling coal seams looking for natural gas, in many predominately Black areas, I don't have a lot of nice things to say about their laziness and apathy. The Aus Gov does the worst thing possible, just hands them money after money, re; the "instant gratification" problem mentioned in the video.

I think it’s mostly cultural. Look up Thomas Sowell’s analysis of the rise and fall of Dunbar High School, a predominantly black American high school that used to produce pupils that had some of the highest test scores in the nation and it’s graduates went onto hold many positions of prominence back when being the first African American to hold this or that position meant that you had to be exceptionally qualified instead of being just another diversity hire.
After a long run of success, it’s academic rigor was replaced with grievance politics and, I’m sure you can guess the results.
Thomas Sowell is a black American economist that is rarely acknowledged by his own community despite his genius because he speaks the uncomfortable truths of what is wrong with black culture in America and how it does not have to be the way it is.

Genetics as well as behavior and intelligence is 100% related to getting enough protein while your brain is developing and also stress during this time those 2 things predominantly shaped our genetics to be more intelligent ..sooooo a black child as he says will take the 1 candy today instead of 3 tomorrow duh it's a side affect of not having enough...Sowell had plenty of food and good parenting during the really important time 0 to 8 y and really some resurch suggest it's the first 5 y...but I believe it is well past puberty because you can see a really intelligent child become a below average adults in all race's difference is eating enough protein. has nothing to do with carbs or sugars it's protein because when the growth spurt happens and the body triple in size in a few years after puberty the body requires protein to get big and every day the brain needs 30 g just to maintain its self...so I see it as diet mostly 😉

However, for African Americans, culture probably plays a bigger role since they have enjoyed the benefits of living in an industrialiazed society for generations and the poorest among them usually get free meals from their schools. In fact, a lot of schools in American ghettos serve free breakfast and lunch to all their pupils.

And that's not mentioning the significant increase of personal time each of those student had to commit to learning each subject.

Tyrone was having trouble in school. His teacher was always yelling at him, "You're driving me crazy, Tyrone, can’t you learn anything!!?" One day, Tyrone's mother came to school to check on how he was doing. The teacher told her honestly, that her son was simply a disaster, getting very low marks, and that she had never seen such a stupid boy in her entire teaching career. The mom was so shocked at the feedback that she withdrew her son from school and moved out of Detroit, relocating to Cleveland. 25 years later, the teacher was diagnosed with an almost incurable cardiac disease. All the doctors strongly advised her to have open-heart surgery, which only one surgeon at the Cleveland Clinic could perform. Left with no other options, the teacher decided to have the operation, which was remarkably successful. When she opened her eyes after the surgery, she saw a handsome young doctor smiling down at her. She wanted to thank him, but could not talk. Her face started to turn blue, she raised her hand, trying to tell him something, but quickly died. The doctor was shocked, wondering what went wrong so suddenly. Then he turned around and saw our friend Tyrone, a janitor in the Clinic, had unplugged the life-support equipment in order to connect his vacuum cleaner

This is a very interesting commentary . I’ve seen every city and county in the state I live in that was taken over by this particular ethnic group go from clean , safe , organized infrastructure and making h money to ( when the white people fled - not because of bigotry but because they were targeted for violence- for safety and a decent way of life ) to being in debt , city works go down hill, trash piling up , drugs sky rocket and insane violence . The state Capitol was once a wholesome beautiful place to go to , the large lake there, the zoo , museums etc, but you’re more likely to be killed there than in a war zone . It’s sad , and I don’t know what the answer is , all I hear ( indeed it’s the only scenario your allowed to advocate ) is that it’s the white people keeping us down . And yet Ive seen countless billions of federal , state ,city and private funds go to help in their housing , jobs, education and health etc. I fear my state will be like Zimbabwae in 10 - 20 years . Indeed much of America is being dragged in that direction because the gangs that were in the inter cities are leaches . They create nothing in the way of clothes, homes , automobiles, food etc . It’s all drugs , robbery , ober violence and prostitution which of coarse doesn’t create a society . As they spread into the burbs they takeover the streets , the whites feel compelled to give them everything they want in the way of welfare and housing , the men are strong , aggressive , out going in a John Dillinger fashion and plow through the awestruck whites girls like a combine . Have seen a young black man that avoided black girls , and he had impregnated 6 - 8 white girls and didn’t want nothing to do with them or their kids. It’s just chaos. . The white guys tend to be more modest and shy and are intimidated by the big burly black guys . Seen it a million times , went to numerous schools growing up snd in every case the blacks would push the whites out of line ( theme parks also) - and this may go to the mans theory that they have trouble putting off instant gratification. Point is white people and the infra structure they carry with them is shrinking at an alarming rate . The children of these black white intercourses tend to go towards the black society and gangs. I have to add that I’ve met numerous black men and women that realize this but are also afraid to say anything because they’ll get shouted down and threatened for speaking the obvious . These productive black folks are often attacked by their own race viciously . People will say this is cliche but I do care for all people ,including black folks . But there is a problem here and we are not going to fix it by running from it and ignoring it. I’ve lost count of the black people I’ve talked to that are terrified to go into their own neighborhoods, or can’t wait to move out . And it has nothing to do with the Klan .

Here’s another dimension to the problem. In Europe and North America, white women, for nearly 20 years now, have been having fewer children than what is required to replace the current population. The same is true in Japan, China, Russia, and South Korea. In other words over the next 40 years the world’s population is going to become much, much more black. Either blacks are going to have to “grow up” or they better get used to their areas becoming permanent cesspools.

South African here. Unfortunately what Simon says here is generally true. There is nuance to it which the rest of the world has little context for, but is otherwise accurate. There are still institutions and infrastructure that still work but these getting fewer. It was by no means a sudden loss like the rest of Africa. Back in the day under international sanctions it was perhaps a blessing in that we had no choice but to build things to last. They are only now beginning to fall apart. Those days are over, of course, but there are changes that _might_ lead to better leadership. Obviously nothing is sure and there are vultures (corrupt career politicians) around every corner, but there are also crucial things like the judicial system and a free press that have proven surprisingly resilient against the evils of the Marxists. We are very much aware that we are at our wits end, and I think the majority of us know exactly why. All is not yet lost, but it's close. Close enough that I'm willing to entertain such notions as a two-state solution despite the derisions of the progressive naysayers.

I empathise over the dilemma of SA! Unfortunately a two state solution is that one side will always claim they got the worst deal! You know who that would be! This would end up in the same situation as thirty years ago with incursion and rebellion with interfering do-gooders like the UN sympathising with the underdog!

Delayed gratification was taught to me by my mother, but perhaps even more by my sister. She was so good at delaying gratification that she would have leftover halloween candy the following year! She has easily saved/invested a million by now, and we started out 'poor' according to U.S. standards we were most certainly below the "poverty line". That being said... I have seen our country in many ways. From progress to slowly decaying over the past 42 years of my life. The poor are more poorly than ever.. Our government schooling is a disaster with a 35% to pass your grade put in place. So we do not educate the youth and therefore they can not progress in bettering there situations. Our government is corrupt and only hear what the people want when it's voting time and they want the masses to go to the polls.. Only to let them down all over again. Criminals are taking over this beautiful country day in and day out.

The black farmers had a huge crop that year. At the start of the next planting season, a group of white farmers went to check up on their black neighbors, and found..., nothing. I had a teacher that let it be known. That people who did not have the smarts to become Lawyers, Doctors, Engineers, Tradesmen, etc. Would become the street sweepers, cleaners and manual laborers, etc. Not everyone would get higher education. And without that reality we would not have the people we needed to do those other less glamorous jobs. Having Doctors, Nurses or Airline Pilots, etc. That got their papers because of diversity accommodation is most definitely NOT a sound idea.

"Until the mid-1990s, South Africa was the most prosperous and advanced country in Africa."
Then we handed it to the Bantu's.. and the rest is history and this history has become pernicious to the present.
    Edit -
Simon, the veiw that they will seem to settle for small immediate satifaction; and not wait until later for a more longer beneficial outcome is very true, there are videos out there with the Chinese trying desperately to do deals in Africa saying exacty this.
they come to this conclusion through negotiating with them.. i'm paraphrasing here but the Chinese were saying something along the lines of "mostly they take the lowest immediate offer right in the moment; rather than wait and get something solid, more beneficial for the future; the best deal that they can build on, no, they are happy drinking beer for a week and in the weeks following they are back to drinking water."

US military man noted that clay, suitable to make bricks, was in abundance in a rural area.
He gathered finance and sent them a Brick Making Machine.
    Later he returned.
Not ONE brick had been made!
On enquiring why it was so, he was asked, 'How much were they to be paid for the bricks'?
I thought it was a true story at the time.
