How do you get pillbox destroys so easy? I tried armoured belts with gun pods too on my bf109 F4 and still couldn't get one. I have a suspicion it is something to do with xbox desync and also crappy Aussie internet, as most my bullets seem to fly through what I appear to hit.... I will have to get into a p47 and try it, although my Russian p40 and p39 cannot destroy them either.
You can actually destroy a light pillbox with pretty much any weapon in the game. Here’s how: AP rounds primarily, good gun convergence (try 500) and aim for the top of the pillbox! Hope it helps!
Just tried again with ground belts in the p40 and I got one. I suspect the controller aim inaccuracies is making it harder than it should be. Most shots all go in the dirt around the pillbox when I watch the replay.. lol
I love this plane it just works soo well. But I dislike the p47n variation. I don’t know if it’s me or the plane. It doesn’t fill as good as this plane.
I'm sorry but P47s are really pointless in the current meta, the poor things can never ever use their second stage supercharger because the matches are too short and half the maps are so damn small you won't reach 3k before getting swarmed.
