How clever! I was looking at cigar boxes but had not figured out the problem with fitting a larger pad of watercolor paper in it but you just used that saw! Now I can make my pachade box. Thank yoiu so much for sharing your ideas.
Cutting that watercolour block with your left hand so near the blade is so dangerous! One slip and you might lose at best your fingers, at worst your life. Always clamp items that are close to a blade, trust me on this I have been woodworking for well over sixty years and have seen accidents happen due to such carelessness. Always remember, the most important thing in a workshop area is yourself. Other than that a good video, thank you for taking the time and trouble to post.
You explain everything so clearly 😊 I’m excited to start this project for something I wanna use ❤
Cool. good luck 😎
This is a great video with a terrific idea and clear instructions about how to create the sketch box. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
Great idea! So glad the weather is getting better and I can see some of your spring paintings.
Thanks David. Hooray for sunshine!!! That winter was way too long.

I think I may end up making multiple sizes. (of boxes, not sketchbooks 😁)
Thanks so much for the idea! I put together a box today and filled it with pencils. Works great!
Those turned out great! I'm not letting you anywhere near my sketchbooks though! 😂
Hah. It's a new way to get over the fear of making a bad drawing and ruining a new sketchbook. Maybe it will catch on?😁
This is brilliant! Thank you... 💕🙏🏼💕
So great you have really given me great ideas
Thanks for sharing 😊
