@@JasonHicks343 Did I say that? I'll type slowly so that maybe you'll understand. It's not just the money. Many people wouldn't uproot from California to New York, even for a very hefty salary, if the people they worked with were total jerks, or the work atmosphere was toxic. Staying in California and finding a new gig might be just as lucrative or worthwhile. But the whole band, except for the bassist, who (from what I understand) has other family commitments, has uprooted. And I think that says something positive. Which clearly isn't in your lexicon.

She's an amazing artist, and the performance if flawless (musically speaking) but soulless, lacks the suffering and pain required to deliver the message of this song.
@@raziusx5933meh, not really. You don't really need to have that pain and suffering to just have fun with the song. It's a pretty dancy song so it doesn't necessarily have to be depressing every time someone other than Miley sings it. Lol

Kelly always rocks. I prefer the original on this one though. Mileys raspy and rich voice gives the song the attitude that I think the song is about.

@@urhypeboy There is nothing wrong in comparing. Its bound to happen with covers. I love both renditions but prefer Mileys. And I find it interesting to reflect on why because I of course love Kellys voice and take on it. Sometimes a perfect voice isnt enough though. Obviously 46 other persons agree with me. So I guess my comment isnt totally irrelevant.

The jokes that Kelly singing an artists song destroys the original because she does it better aren't jokes. It's just the truth. She is the epitome of a singer. She lets others lead, takes the low harmony, shares the riffs...ultimate artist in my opinion.
I don’t think she destroys the original, yes she’s good but when the singer has an emotional connection to a song they wrote it is very hard to beat it. They give character to the song and you can feel why it is important to them. Yes Kelly can SANG but something she’s missing that connection.

Kelly needs to clarify whether or not Miley is the "pitchy stripper". Kelly says it isn't her problem if people think it was Miley, but what is Kelly's problem? Is it the lack of rasp or the difference in emotional connection? Somehow she sounds weak compared to Miley, specifically on Miley's "I used to be young" and "Flowers".
In contrast my favorite Kelly cover is Garth Brooks "The Dance". It is beautiful and its own moment so there is no reason to compare it to the original and every reason to hope she keeps covering great songs.

I loved the rendition but am I the only one who thought it had a sad twist to it ? Miley’s rendition is more upbeat and to me at least seems to be meant to be empowering, while Kelly made my heart feels very different emotions. Not regrets, but nostalgia or more like the hard truth that comes with radical acceptance after a separation.
Both very well sang and emotionally interesting in my opinion. ☺️

Covers cannot beat originals except this time. I prefer Kelly's version, she doesn't make those weird unnecessary movements or interrupt the flow of song by the strange urge to start commentary chats. Kelly's voice is forever ❤
I think people would probably argue that Whitney's cover of "I will always love you" is much better than the original. Many famous songs are actually covers, most people have never heard the original versions and have no idea.

I moved out of my home state. I hope everyone is well. I stopped to see how you sing flowers from Mileys song. And I read the story recently about her dad. Sucks all around. It isn't about you Ms. Miley and your mom. Keep going little sister.
I love the stage ambience. I believe the environment is everything. I love how your stage color peeps create the vibe, great job. Makes your show come alive with human organic talent.
I understand we all need to fix ourselves and I have tried from 12!years old to 48. Five years of EMDR doesn't fix everything. I desire Peace, joy and happiness. I think Peace does encompass all and love. Self love yes is where it is at. And Miley's song affects all adult people.
You know most conflicts are from miscommunication.
I have worked on high profile as a state certified counselor and worked on rape cases and advocated in courts. One of the most challenging on the job was working with a eight yr old who was suicidal. So to me, the victim means you're dead in AMAC terms. Iam a survivor, thriver and whatever word goes after iam here with my God. Following my purpose. My stories trigger people about their stuff and then people project their stuff on to me. Not owning their stuff. I was stuck as a victim as people know it. And then I started to do the inner child work and continue. Healing takes as long as it takes. I'm not able to fix this. I was a baby toddler and was thrown across a bar, my mother was using drugs at the time and I wandered away. I was always taking off. I walked across a field to a bar and a man offered me a little bag of chips and I walked out the back screen door. But after 7 years working on that every Thursday once a week. Worked on sexual inventory in a 12 step program I went deeper and deeper until doing EMDR and someone who is sensitive can be retraumatized. (Almost caused a stroke in me) This biker in a bar, a man, tried to rape me and couldn't. I was too tiny. And he called me a B and I got away.
During EMDR, I remembered a trauma so honestly no words. I'm able to talk about this today because of the inner work folks. if I can to help others through the darkness, this is what I do, expert by inner work. Iam older and want peace. Why did I talk on here and reach out to certain celebrities on Instagram.iam not sure it is real. My adult children don't believe me. I am real and raw and authentic. Where are my soul peeps? Sometimes when we have been traumatized we get stuck at that stage of development until you go back and heal that child. 18 to 0. The youngest person to have died from sexual assault in my hometown is a new born and what can a newborn do nothing to invoke sex. It is about power and control. False control. This is my experience and expertise. Iam here to help if people let me and thank you TC for helping me stand in my power and to not settle for less in a relationship. I got an 11 year divorce and left a sexless marriage. Iam worth to be loved the way God or Creator or higher power something bigger then all of us and not a put down, a power brings us up. I want to say thank you to all the musicians and artists in acting who change lives for the better for all in mind and are authentic about it. I am here one day at a time trying to figure out the dark unknown. I'm not as strong in future predictions. My Intuitive from the third eye so to speak is where I see things. And I just know what I know. Where I see people on the phone or on RUclips channel creators and I don't see their face only hear their voice. I see their face in my minds eye. We all have this gift of insight. We need to tap into it.
I hope Kelly’s team sees this, but we need a Kelly Chris Stapleton duet singing II most wanted by Miley and Beyoncé asap! It’s long overdue 😊
