X-men was going to have a few episodes in season 3 of avengers (which was cancelled) and Spider-Man was introduced in season 2 towards the end of the show's lifespan. Avengers was ending, and transitioning into Disney, so to enforce the "Disney XD" era of Marvel animation, Josh Keaton (who had already recorded lines for the show) was replaced by Drake Bell, so children would get used to his voice I guess 🤷.
This came out in 2010. This was Avengers back when they wasn't that popular! Back then the ONLY movies they had was The Incredible Hulk, and the Iron Man movies! 🤐
Honestly, if this is the only reaction they do for it, I'm glad they watched Breakout, since it brings the team together. I don't know if anything else is out of order, but if it's just the character episodes followed by the regular episode list then it isn't a big deal.

There are other series on Disney Plus that they've done that sort of thing to and there are series on there for which there are missing episodes.
You know it really is such a shame that streaming services and such messed up the episode order so badly- the reason that it feels so muddled and fast-paced with all of the characters and action is because the first two episodes they watched WEREN'T the first two episodes, it was the 6th and 7th episodes that took place after you got to know the characters and settings, so it would have made more sense. The first episode was the Iron Man one they watched
Eden came a long way of saying he don’t like superheroes so he wasn’t that enthusiastic watching them to getting snippy when Jack said “f*cking $#!+” as a joke at the end.
The trifecta, THIS, Spectacular Spider-Man, and Wolverine and the X-Men could have given a chunk of the DCAU a run for its money…then they were all canceled around the same time.
Main problem with the show is the beginning isn’t even the beginning. There was like 3 or so mini episodes that have set up to it. You see how Hulk got captured, mainly. Kinda important.
Aside from the fact that they brought in Red Hulk, I say they should have used General John Ryker instead of Ross because he's the one that actually wants to use Hulk blood to create super soldiers and whatnot. In fact, aside from the sweet tragic irony of it all, he should have been Red Hulk since it was more in line with his goals. Thaddeus Ross is just the one who wants to lock up Robert/Hulk and/or just kill them; 50% due to the fact that he doesn't like him dating his daughter
Never watched X-Men the Animated Series but with the revival of that show and Spectacular Spider-Man making a cameo on Across the Spider-Verse, we're two steps closer to the Yost-Verse (Wolverine and the X-Men, Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes and Spectacular Spider-Man) getting revived. The theme song still kills, even though I can't unhear it sounding like Linkin Park's Somewhere I Belong
Love how so many people do not recognize the villains used in emh since they never really appeared outside of the comics, or if they did, not in a design like that. We have, zzazx, living laser, abomination, whiplash (the girl one), red ghost, copperhead, crimson dynamo, the wrecking crew, chemistro, the red ghost and his super apes, and griffin

When I first watched this show when it was on Netflix forever ago, the Breakout episodes weren’t first, the characters intro episodes were. So that’s how I’m used to it.

So sometimes people mislabeled them as episodes 1 and 2
