The story is incredible, Edward is an amazingly well written character, probably the best of the series (with Ezio), mechanics are still good to this day, naval battles are so awesome too.. You hide to avoid being killed by a mass number of enemies, but if they too stupid to make a worth hiding from them then there is no engagement in using stealth in general. The armor is not only useless against naked hand takedowns, the helmet visor also is useless to detect movement. Its all very Star War-ish since the very first movie in the 70s

In case Skull & Bones didnt give it away, Ubisoft has learned nothing about game development over the past decade.
They could literally just copy-paste assets and mechanics and still have a passable game. Its mind-boggling how medicore their products have become.
Im pretty sure Ubisoft, by some CEO which got pressures by investors, had fires off the people who writes and codes the old legendary games, in favor of newer developers that management can push around.
Someone needs to record a playthrough where they never use weapons.

When going for realism, every aspect of the game must aim at emulating reality.
Not only is the AI worse but somehow the graphics in general are worse. Apparently Ubisoft is a complete toxic nightmare where the HR department essentially runs the company.
ubiflops "evolution" is like, if Humans would start moving on all Four again.....
Remember it's actually gamers fault for having high expectations from a "AAAA" game. Ubisoft said so.
