So funny to see this because I do this every time I change my sheets minus the essential oils. I buy 4lbs boxes of baking soda to fill up my shaker containers I purchased from Amazon. I use this magic dust on EVERYTHING!!! Thanks for the essential oils tip!!! 🥰
Great Idea I use baking powder to remove lingering odors in fridges and cupboards must extend it to my mattresses and pillows I suppose! Thank you so much great tip! I’ve shared around!!
Baker's tip! ... Don't forget to add also: a good heap of cake flour, a handful of icing-sugar, a few egg whites, some cocoa powder, an extra-large 'economy-sized' bag of multi-coloured mini-marshmallows, a jar of peanut-butter, and a good-sized cake of fresh yeast onto your bed. Mix and knead everything into the mattress, spreading it out evenly over your bed. Toss the entire mattress into a commercial-sized oven at about 400°F for a few hours (to rid of any bed-bugs, Covid-infected mice, and any roaming cockroaches); pull it out when it looks 'done', and then after cooling slightly, throw the damn thing in another commercial-sized clothes-dryer till dried but fluffy-looking. Vacuum it all up, and _'voilà';_ all nice and clean! ... Or better yet, [optionally] serve it 'as is' as your new baked-in comforter/bedspread/'pud'-combo.
Is this video old cuz they're making mattress now that you can't flip only moving switch around from side to side that's about it but not flipping over what you doing in that case?
I can’t believe the amount of tips that advise you to use baking soda then vacuum it up. My Dyson instructions actually tells you doing this with baking soda can void your warranty. I still like to do it though. 🤭
When you say ‘ baking soda’, do you mean Bicarbonate of Soda? Here in Britain we have Baking Powder used to make cakes rise and Bicarbonate of Soda which has multiple purposes. It’s confusing to us Brits when you call it Baking Soda.
In North America we call Bicarbonate of Soda, "baking soda". This is a wonderful ingredient. If I bake a casserole and the food sticks to the sides of the baking dish, I place boiling water into the dish right up to the brim, then take a teaspoon of baking soda and drop it around the dish in the boiling water, 1 teaspoon in the heavily soiled area, let it sit for an hour then wash the crud out. It works like magic.

@Natural Cures . Can I do this on memory foam mattresses for same results? Is there another option if I can't use baking soda method on it? Thanks!

Yes it does work on memory foam mattress I've been doing it on mine since I purchased it a year ago on a weekly basis as I change my bedding
@@kymclinton3140 👍😁

With that flip over mattress, you need to clean it because its old AF. Time for new bedding!

I have allergies, so I'll skip the essential oils, or use much less.
"Hemp oil " means "Hanf Öl" in German translation....
Do not use regular vacum cleaner with baking soda😱😱
Yes
Then what should we use to clean baking soda?
A filter free vacum cleaner.
@@ragnhildmkhamar3433 thanks 😊
