I just bought this as my first helmet not knowing anything about helmets XD I'm glad I went for this modular instead of a different one, since this one has more solid build and safety ratings than other modular helmets. Lucky accident.
Only issue I have is to charge the battery of the exp-comm, you need to remove the helmet neck sleeve to charge the battery. Still bought it, but ordered a Cardo. Hope,it all,works
highly recommend waiting on a 22.06 shell from them, it will include a shatter-proof drop-down unlike this helmet.. I bought one of these and I like it but would have LOVED a shatter-proof drop-down visor.
@@MohamedOmrano basically they just test to make sure it will not shatter and instead crack or crackle when shot with a lead pellet at 100km/hr. The drop-down visor on this helmet is not tested at all in that regard and since you can take the full-face off* and just have the drop-down, people may be tempted to think that having the drop-down out is safer when it may lead to having shards of plastic rain onto your face should a stone or object hit them.
We'd put these two helmets in different categories. The AT-950 is best for dual sport or adventure riders as it has the mx style visor (peak). This GT-930 is a touring modular that gives you the ability to convert into a 3/4 helmet. The other nice feature on the GT-930 is the integrated comms. If you're going to run comms we'd recommend the GT-930 paired with the Scorpion EXO-COM Bluetooth Communications unit. It's not that one is better than the other. It will just depend on the application. What type of riding are you doing?
I would say it is to cover the slits where the main visor attaches to and maybe prevent dust and debris from getting in there. They may have done the peak as a way to make it seem more valuable (or useful?) than just to make sure things do not get into the openings where the visor was.
Heavy. A lot of wind-noise and creaking sounds at all speeds. The neck collar liner skirt comes out when removing the helmet. Must be tucked back in. Fantastic design and style but poor craftsmanship and execution. I returned mine. Can’t recommend it.

Thanks for reaching out, i don't believe this helmet has any attachments to mount a camera, it might have to be a mount from go pro to make that work.
Which helmet is quieter? The hjc I90 or the exo gt- 930?
Wind noise is quite subjective. We recommend a snug fit with the chin curtain installed.
A really killer will wonder, what does that little red button do.

Is the gt930 better than the exo covert fx
It depends if you are looking for a full face (Covert FX) or a modular helmet (GT930). Both are great options.

Is there a practical reason for the peak visor? I think the 3/4 looks better without it
The visor (peak) offers some limited sun protection. Beyond that it's for a style thing.
