I just noticed that Radahn is so honorable that he waits for Malenia to put her arm on before he grabs his swords.
Another way to interrupt it is he’s giving her a final “do you surrender? Are you sure you wanna do this?” And right when she puts her arm on he has his answer for a fight
Pretty sure he was just waiting for her to ready herself as seen by her adjusting her prosthetic while she waited for him to pick up his swords. They were both honourable warriors as the two strongest remaining demigods.

Radahn got nuked by scarlet rot, went mad, lost his feet, and still was able to hold back the stars while fighting us and a group of npcs if you did summons. He was truly a force to be reckoned with.

Radahn is a legend, not only was he holding back whole starts with magic while dying and insane from the scarlet rot in order to stop his sister, he only learnt gravity magic so he could sit on his childhood horse, Leonard, without crushing him. Beautiful.

She dedicated her life to protecting Miquella and he dedicated his life to trying to cure her. There's even a statue of them hugging. They are a lot more wholesome than Radahn and his horse
I thought Radahn Was gonna be like this really evil, warmongering asshole, turns out he was one of the nicest guys in Fromsoft's history. Thanks Malenia! Edit: Okay so neither of them are as good or evil as I thought. It now feels like more of a tragic misunderstanding that could've been talked out if they weren't so prideful.

I realize now that Radahn pulling his swords from the ground normally wouldn’t have caused such an effect to the surroundings, as at most it would throw a couple of things in the immediate vicinity of the blades.
No, this man used his gravity magic to create that ‘repulsion’ effect. Purely for aesthetics/atmosphere.

The whole scene is just so good. The way Malenia just rushes in while debris from his battlecry is still flying, the way she catches her sword with her off hand immediately after Radahn breaks her arm, the way they are completely opposite builds of each other *chefs kiss*

One thing that always bothered me. During her rush, you can hear quick steps, implying she's running. But you can clearly see her floating.

Radahn is so badass. I think the festival was well orchestrated to be a celebration of Radahn, giving him the warriors death instead of succumbing to the scarlet rot. All the npcs respect his former legacy even after he turned mad.
Truly a one-of-a-kind boss fight, even if it was a pain in the ass to win.

Radahn and Malenia. Two absolute beasts with the power to restore order. Either could have ruled and it would have been fine. They just had to have one survivor. But instead they defeated each other and none ascended. They were the best chance of the lands between and ended up snuffing that hope out, both reduced to nothing but roadblocks to an eventual elden lord. What a tragedy. And on top of that, neither gets to die at their best. Radahn becomes a wild animal and Malenia gets shanked right after awakening from a coma, debatably never reaching her full potential.

To be fair nobody died radhan just went insane and malenia was so exhausted she went unconscious for what could have been years and even if radhan got the short end of the stick nobody won
After nuking Radahn, Malenia becomes unconscious while Radahn becomes completely insane, no one from both sides could fight anymore.
Only Malenia can nuke a continent and put herself in a coma and have the guts to call herself 'undefeated'
it was a draw before the nuke.
I appreciate the bit at the beginning where Radahn simply having honor and calmly letting Malenia install the unalloyed gold prosthetic onto her body before they fight. He really is a warrior in the truest sense of the world and frankly, he's really pure and respectable for that and multiple other reasons, especially considering how easily he could've became a power hungry dishonorable*sshole of a warlord.
I think Radahn wasn't trying to kill Malenia. I think he was trying to bring her in alive. And this could be out of love for his father.
This doesn't mean Radahn cares about Malenia. In fact, capturing her would probably mean he'd take away her prostetics, which would be humiliating to her.

@@femto7579 The rot cancer is her power, she blooms the 2nd time on Radahn unleashing a bio-nuke of cancer at point blank range yet only forced stalemate that caused a portion of the continent to turn into red cancer land and Radahn to become a braindead beast.
Also with 2nd phase melania she blooms the 3rd time, then ascends to godhood able to use the bio-nuke as she pleases that is capable of the infesting the entirety of the world with cancer. On the other hand Radahn might actually use the real stars of rain sorcery but with actual stars, if we ever see a prime Radahn and with him ascending to godhood then it'll be more meteors, moons, and stars than summons. Would be cool to see world boss version of him at his prime.

A statement from the memorial sword. This is such a beautiful and tragic fight, full of poetic drama. Two proud warrior siblings, possessed by the mad taint of the Shattering’s conflict and their newfound power within the shards. Locked in a stalemate, Malenia decides to finish the battle once and for all. Giving up her will to the outer god of Rot, she sends herself into a deep slumber and cripples Radahn. The Rot then carves its own path through Caelid, creating a twisted and terrifyingly beautiful kingdom for itself, populating the arid wilds with Rot kindred and scarlet foliage.
Years later, Malenia sleeps in the Haligtree, having lost herself almost entirely to Rot, she believes she still defends her brother Miquella and his land. However, she’s simply not there anymore, unaware that her brother is no longer with her. Meanwhile, Radahn continues to carry out his duty in keeping the stars still, but he’s also lost himself, wandering the wilds like an animal.
We see the love for both characters in the actions of their knights. The Cleanrots knights wither away from Rot willingly out of love for Malenia, and the Cleanrot Knightess Finlay carried Malenia home to the Haligtree after the battle, fighting off all manner of foes along the way. Radahn’s knights remain in Caelid, far from their homes and stave off the Rot with fire, while simultaneously gathering for a grand festival to honor their general and allow any warriors brave enough to challenge the Starscourge, granting him an honorable death in combat.
I love both of these characters and their stories so much. My previous comment about this somehow got deleted, but I really hope the fandom stops twisting this fight to be a competitive 1v1 battle and pitting the two characters against each other. They’re both undeniably flawed, but also with extremely noble qualities to be found. I’m so glad Myazaki and Martin gave us such rich stories to delve into, honestly.

Not 1 noble thing about Malenia. She gets wrecked by general Chadahn who is bearing the burden of the stars with him and is also already poisoned/wounded and she just decides to nuke an entire province to not lose.

The fight is more of a way to honor Radahn than a boss fight to me. Just the fact that he held thousands of stars, meteors at bay proves his strenght.
Edit: petition to make Radahn the final bossfight where he is actually not mad.

Can we take a minute to appreciate the absolute hangers Malenia had to even want to lock blades with Radahn? The battlefield they are on is absolutely LITTERED with corpses from their two armies but the guy is friggin MASSIVE. Not to mention as stated he has the power to STOP THE MOVEMENT OF STARS, celestial bodies and she's just like "hold my prosthetic arm and leg he's mine" absolutely wild.
I don't think she would have viewed herself as an underdog or would have been particularly intimidated. I think she expects to destroy anyone in front of her, including other demigods.
@@AKSBSU I completely agree with you, she has a warrior mentality and definitely has the skill and battlefield prowess to show for it. Being that she was half brother to Radahn and knew him most likely pretty well and his exploits and victories first hand, she would know that he was the real deal. Not to mention that he was still just a MaSsIvE guy, I can't imagine someone wouldn't be at least a little intimidated, even someone as skilled in combat as herself. The best fighters in the world or in any case creation know not to underestimate their opponents and while she had never been defeated that by no means means that she would have not acknowledged his power and skill. At least I don't think so, overall though just wild.

@@theharvinator he's not a good guy, he was part of the war that tore the land apart, just the same as 'bad guys' like Rykard and Godrick. The only difference is that he isn't overtly malicious like some of the more evil demigods.
It’s so cool how she grabs her sword immediately with her other hand without missing a step to secure the opening she made. And considering it was Malenia who reached Radhan and not the other way round, meaning her campaign had traveled the Entire length of the continent, she absolutely would not stop at the last place left. And I agree they most likely would have had a respect and cordial relationship before the shattering. The cutscene presents the fight in almost a somber way because it was literally the very end of the war and as the strongest demigods they were the only two left.
I like how Radahn's magic is purple, a color made up of both red and blue, which are the primary colors of his parents Radagon and Rennala. He's essentially the perfect combination of the two.

Love how when you fight these two they are completely past their prime but still are godlike warriors, radhan its mentally destroyed, holding a meteor in orbit, wounded to no end and infected of rot, and malenia its blinded by rot and was sleeping for decades (people in real life that awaken from a year long coma cant even stand up) both are way past humans and we only win because they were very weakened, i would love if they do the memory bosses like in sekiro an inner malenia in rot goddess from the begining and with better tracking and a more spammy radhan with more health and new moves

I agree with the Radahn portion but I would argue that the tarnished fought Malenia at her strongest. She literally achieved godhood in her second phase.
@@stlsolo3145 she didnt achieve true godhood, as clearly implied by her remembrance, she has bloomed twice (no the smaller flower just before her fight its not her its one of her daughters) malenia can go even further beyond, then we have the little fact that she doesnt hsve the needle, so as far as we know in her head the god of rot voice its blasting to rot the world at max volume

Also the incantation its very specific saying that when she bloomes a third she will become a TRUE goddes, meaning she its not yet a true goddess

Radahn was holding back the stars to prevent Ranni from communicating with the outer god of the dark moon. Meteorites weren't falling from the sky (except for one tiny Meteor that blew a hole on the Eternal City). But it is still super impressive to lock the stars in stasis to the point of stopping their cycles.

I love both these characters to death, both are such badasses that are extremely fitting for their places as some of the hardest soulsborne bosses ever. I just hope we eventually learn more about them and why they fought to the bitter end.
This comment was made a while ago, but I'm going to reply anyway lol, because there are actually a few reasons as to why Malenia may have fought Radahn.
1) If Miquella was kidnapped before the battle, then we can assume she was on a conquest looking for Miquella, and she ended up in Caelid after eitehr a) having looked everywhere, or b) sensing that he was in Caelid (Mohg's palace is underneath Caelid, almost directly underneath where they fought).
2) She was fighting Radahn because he was the biggest threat to Miquella's eventual ascension to godhood, being one of the few beings who could challenge his rule.
3) This is an interesting one. Miquella is associated with Castle Sol, whose denizens were attempting to bring about the eclipse so that the souless demigods could be returned to life. The first souless demigod was Godwyn of course, who was killed in body and not in soul by the curse mark of death. The others we have no idea how, but they are stated to be souless demigods by Mausoleum Knight equipment item descriptions. Furthermore, it is heavily implied that Miquella, Malenia, and Godwyn were all very close to each other (there are statues depicting a man who is presumably Godwyn wrapping his arms around around both Malenia and Miquella). Furthermore, the description for a weapon called the Golden Epitath states that some child, who is Godwyn's brother, infused with it prayer, asking him to die a true death. This could be no one else but Miquella. Radahn fought for his life, Malenia fought for Miquella, and their battle was going nowhere. Malenia, knowing that she will not see her brother again if she doesn't win the battle, and knowing that when he ascends to godhood could simply remove the scarlet rot's influence and presence on the world, unleashed it for what she percieved as the great good.
Another great theory also associated with this is that it is possible that Miquella and Ranni (and potentially Marika, as it is stated she has ties with the Numen, of which the black knives are all women Numen) all conspired with each other to assassinate Godwyn. In fact, Rykard also did, but moreso took part as a failsafe in case the stealing of the rune of death was a failure/Maliketh chased Ranni with the fragment of the rune of death to fight and hold him off. Especially after the DLC image has come out, many people believe that Miquella was torrent's former master. Ranni says she was entrusted with the spirit calling bell and the lone wolf ashes by Torrent's former master. Another connection is that the whistle is made of gold, and Miquella is associated with unalloyed gold. Both wanted to walk away from the golden order, and both were Empyreans, and the fate of the demigods is dictated by the stars, which Radahn stopped the motion of, and thus stopped their fates from continuing. So perhaps the three Empyreans, both of whom wanted to reach their destiny by relieving the golden order and both of whom despised the outer gods and wanted their influence on the lands gone, conspired to kill Godwyn, and then to kill Radahn who prevented their fates from being fulfilled so that Ranni may voyage the stars and so that Miquella could bless the land with abundance and free his sister of the scarlet rot. This gives even more reason for Malenia to have released the rot; Miquella NEEDED Radahn dead in order for his fate to progress. Perhaps this is why those of the Haligtree never found him; to find Miquella would be to resume his fate, but Radahn was still alive meaning no god's fate could resume. Even further, where else do we find black knife assassins? Ordina, the liturgical town that leads to the Haligtree. Maybe Miquella only wants to "revive" Godwyn and grant him true death in order to kill the Death Root, an unforeseen consequence of the accursed half curse mark, which could potentially lead to the extinguishing of all life if allowed to spread to much.
Anyway sorry about the rant.

What makes radhan so impressive to me is that he's been holding back the stars while protecting the horse and taking major fights all at once starting from his glory days until he fights us the tarnished. This guy changed so much but yet he is still doing alot more while fighting us. A true legend

Ik it's just a joke, but to clarify it for everyone: In the moon ending Ranni replaces Marika as the New goddess and we (the tarnished) become the New Elden Lord and Ranni's mate.

It's truly a hard fight.
For me it wasn't that hard. Granted, I think it had more to do with my build than my skill. I just used an arcane Faith Build. My Mimic had Erden Heal and a lot of bleed abilities and while it was fighting I just bullied her with Swarm of Flies. Only died to her twice in phase 1. 1st time because I was right next to her and didn't expect getting speed blitz like that and the other was just me fucking up. Once I figured out how to survive her Scarlet Aeonia she uses at the start, I just bullied her.

The way Radahn is standing at the beginning looks like he’s giving Malenia a chance to surrender. Seeing her grasp her arm I guess he sees as meaning she’s not backing down.

Radahn is holding entire maps in the sky during both his boss fight and his duel with malenia. He is absurdly strong.
And Malenia is blind missing 3 limbs and in a constant state of rot, decay and agony during the fight but still perseveres. They’re both legends.

Exactly, I'm tired of all these Radahn fanboys claiming that he was winning the fight, when you clearly see him on his knees with his swords on the ground while Malenia takes her time to stab him in the shoulder! If he was "winning," How come he didn't have enough strength to just push her off his shoulder? Both are absolute beasts but to claim that either side has won, when the game clearly states that it was a stalemate, is incredibly unnecessary.

After killing him and seeing all those meteors pass by the planet (and one landing in mistwood of course) I'm thinking "did i just fuck up this planet's Tony Stark?" He was keeping all those meteors at bay with his gravity magic!

Radahn was holding back the stars to prevent Ranni from communicating with the outer god of the dark moon. Meteorites weren't falling from the sky (except for one tiny Meteor that blew a hole on the Eternal City). But it is still super impressive to lock the stars in stasis to the point of stopping their cycles.

I guess you should have leveled more or something. I beat them both on my first tries just because I could brute my way thru them. Melania was a little different though. I actually summoned a human for the first time at that point instead of a spirit ash and it was a magician to complement my dual katana blood build so I just had that B confused on if she was coming or going until she died 2 minutes later.

I thought Radahn was just some warmongering giant. Turns out he learned gravity magic so he could always ride his scrawny horse. And that even if he is already insane and cannibalistic, somehow his love for his horse still remained since he hasn't eaten it and he is still riding it (even though the horse is suffering but that's a given since Radahn already went crazy). Pretty wholesome and sad at the same time.
Edit: Apparently there's more stuff about him like despite becoming crazy because of the scarlet rot, his men are still very loyal to him. He was apparently the mightiest of all the demigods (and yet he still wanted to ride on his now even smaller horse, he really loved his horse huh). That and along with many others really suggest that he was indeed a great guy.

The fact that Radahn waited for Malenia to put back her arm before engaging in a fight was perhaps the most noble thing to do. But it was also the thing that might’ve doomed the entire continent.
If Radahn had striked during this time then Malenia might’ve died and Radahn could’ve saved the Lands Between

Radahn feels like the MC the more you know about him.Started training in gravity because he loved his horse,then became so OP that he could control the stars probably preventing something like Astel from invading.Has a badass superhero landing at the starting of his 2nd phase.Was said to be the strongest.Survived a continental nuke and probably protected his soldiers and others from it since they are still alive while the rot literally mutated other animals and plants to as far as greyolls dragonbarrow and only lost his mind because it actually destroyed it.Still held back the stars and hovers above his horse so he doesn't forget the main reasons for why he learnt gravity.

The most badass part about this boss is the sheer scale of the fight. You, in a huge desert arena, with the help of six other Tarnished, trying to overtake an enemy that is insanely hard and with a moveset that surpasses any souls game boss.

I have 1B hair down to my lower back and it's a huge pain to maintain it like that, yet he had no trouble despite all that was going on around him. To all the "but she is a harder boss", I d like to remind you that:
- Radahn is the 2nd or 3rd great rune ur supposed to get d you fight with horse and 6-7 summons
- Malenia is an end game challenge
And somehow they both managed to be ,for me (as a melee build idk about others yet), the hardest bosses in the game. Idk if the difficulty was ajusted to match those 2 badasses but Fromsoft did a great job on them.

@@wintersotero9749 You find her in haligtree, there is a portal at the very top of the snowy mountain area in a ghost town that takes you there. I won't spoil too much but the entire area is pretty brutal and the bossfight even more so.
Radahn you fight not only with infinite summons of some of the worlds best heroes... But the man has been eaten away from the inside out due to her scarlet rot for countless years and as such has no mind left. His unconscious body uses his Gravity power 24/7 just so he can keep his horse with him and he is actively defending the world from an impending meteor storm from outer space at all times. To say the odds are stacked against him would be putting it too lightly and he still puts up an amazing fight fit for a Lord.

The people saying this didn't solo Radahn, they used the summons. They sent an army of NPCs with HP in the range of 3-4 times that of the player to be slaughtered as a distraction in the hopes they could land some hits on him before he inevitably destroys them. If you fight them both 1 on 1 you can stunlock Malenia easily and Radahn will ruin your day. The comparisons aren't even close.

Malenia won by making Radahn go braindead due to the rot, Radahn won the duel honorably while still holding back.

@Kyuku Yeah ignore the fact that Malenia was beaten bloody by Radahn in the trailer and that Millicent states clearly that she couldn't beat Radahn without flowering, which left her in a comatose state until we tarnished came to wake her up (We don't know if Radahn was left uncounscious for a while, but we know for a fact that he woke up before Malenia did,where he could have finished her in a defensless state if not fo Finlay). Plus Radahn conquered the stars (creatures like Astel) while Malenia beat Godrick, your point makes no sense.

Malenia was not holding back her true power, she was holding back the scarlet rot to prevent an outer god to take over her body. The goddess of rot is not Malenia and even tough her second phase suggest she ascended to godhood, her item description states that she has to flower 3 times for the outer god to take control. We might see that in a DLC tho, as i believe now the 3rd bloom is ongoing at the roots of Miquella's erdtree.
Even then, a demi god can beat a god just like the tarnished defeated the elden beast.

I like to believe that Malenia engaged first in order to protect Miquella’s rebirth from Radahn since Radahn was among the strongest demigods and he would likely go after Miquella while he was in slumber. Makes sense since Malenia says Miquella is the most fearsome demigod. However after fighting Radahn, Malenia saw they both were evenly matched and she had to resort to her bloom and spread her rot. That way she gets to live to wait for her brother while also disabling Radahn. Sadly Mohg probably used this time to abduct Miquella. In the end, Malenia lost her brother and Radahn lost his sanity.
Finally someone who acknowledges the facts. Im not entirely sure how or why this battle occurred but i like to think the whole reason malenia was on that battlefield was for miquella
I don’t think see why Radahn would have any interest in miquella. For starters getting to the haligtree is incredibly difficult, Gideon couldn’t even find the medallions until the tarnished came along. Secondly if he wanted a great rune Godrick is a much easier target as he is A. Basically next door to caelid B. Isn’t nearly as fortified as the haligtree. Thirdly if he had a way to the haligtree he would have to take his army across the entire lands between to get there. I imagine Malenia wouldn’t do the exact same thing unless she was certain Radahn was a threat.
A lot of people have said the theory that Malenia tried to kill Radahn so the stars would move again so they could get the fingerslayer blade just like what Ranni was doing
There’s also another theory that he was trying to get the stars moving so he could summon an eclipse but I think the fingerslaying blade one is more likely personally

It wasn't a stalemate. Radahn was completely dominating her - that's what drove her to use her rot. She couldn't stand the idea of losing her title as undefeated. Her blow wasn't even enough to phase him, and it was her last resort before her bloom.

So basically after losing to Radahn…she killed herself on his back to resurrect in the form of “Malenia - The Goddess of Rot”- thereby spreading the scarlet rot through that explosion (and Radahn was strong enough to take it). I mean she did loose to Radahn (and thats seems rather obvious). I think Radahn went crazy after this battle since he too was inflicted with the Scarlet Rot since he was literally at the epicenter of the explosion that spread the rot in the first place - thereby sharing the title of Patient Zero with Malenia

Compared to other elden lord, Radahn is gold hearted saint here.
Malenia : - had cut his feet and had him on his knees before using her rot. Did not leave the battlefield, was carried out of here. Implying radahn after being hit by the rot was not immediately able to move and finnish her off. Its even arguable that he could have been knocked out just like her.
Its a draw.
- fights for her cursed brother
- fights with most of her limbs gone and replaced by prostethics because of her own power, not her enemies
- never lost a fight
- is just as sane and powerful if not more after this fight, while radahn, still incredibly powerful and badass is undoubtedly weaker than he was, and crazier.
Its possible Radahn may have been the stronger one at the time of her fight, but by the end of the game, she clearly is ahead. She became an actual goddess, not a demi god anymore.

The feet likely degenerated well AFTER the fight due to the scarlet rot, the same condition where Malenia lost her limbs from.
She needed one more death for a specific condition to become the goddess of rot and likewise didn't see any significant improvement with her combat prowess in her base form, however we did see her sit inside a tree in a chronic depression due to her brother being gone.

I love the detail of Malenia catching the broken blade of her katana in midair as Radahn chops off her prosthetic arm, so that she can keep fighting. One of my favorite cinematics!

After reading all the lore for Radahn, it kinda makes me feel kinda bad for killing Radahn. He was so epic and was still able to keep the starts from falling after going mad from Malenias rot. Respect.

To be fair, we gave Radahn what he wanted.

Radahn seems like the type of guy that happily fishes in the nearby lake and when he gets a fish, he returns it into the lake because he doesn't want to disturb the ecosystem, well, atleast that was probably him before the scarlet rot took his mind.
You shouldnt u not only gave him a warriors death but also ended his and his horses suffering

He wasn't defeated. But neither was Malenia. Both pretty much handicapped themselves forever lol.
@@girlboss5172 Malenia was losing herself to her rot, but power wise, she grew stronger as the bloom went ( until she became a god ) as long as she stopped resisting it. Fighting back is what was eating her away, logically.

It takes mad skills to make you cheer for both sides of a fight this fucking hard. Radahn is a legendary warrior who perfected gravitational magic and can hold the stars in place, while Malenia is an exceptional swordstress who despite being sick and her body being almost completely rotten manages to be the only one who could keep up with Radahn and beat anyone else's ass. Plus she can create fucking nukes and turn Caelid into Chernobyl.
You don't really " keep up " with someone if you are forced to literally inflict with cancer a whole continent in order to " not lose ".

Not only does the sword monument state it was a stalemate before the bloom meaning that the attack was an attempted tie breaker but that Radahn couldn’t even beat a cripple that was actively suppressing herself and as soon as she tried she was so fast that he couldn’t even do anything about her jumping on to him

I love Malenia, she is a phenomenally created character, easily a great inheritor of the powerful female that began with Lady Maria…but Radahn…he is a monster unlike any other, and the realization that the entirety of his encounter was him, not only a shadow of his former self, but ACTUALLY holding back the monsters in the Stars and thereby splitting his power, and he STILL was that powerful…he is a worthy inheritor of the optional powerful boss like the Nameless King and Ebrietas (the Nameless King was way worse than the Daughter)
And to realize that on the first reveal, it felt like General Radahn is evil but in the game, he was the total opposite. As Blaidd said, Radahn truly is the greatest hero and the strongest demigod.

I agree, but Malenia has been holding back her powers since childhood, by chopping off parts of herself. Pain that her disease causes is caused because she does not want to accept her demi-goddess powers, but instead chooses to fight with blade instead.
By comparison, she is a faith build that uses Dex weapons.

Radahn is the most tragic of the demigods. After the shattering he retreated into his own corner in the Land Betweens. Never did he ever go on the offensive. Only defending. At the beginning of the video. You can already see Radahn towering over Melina. Showing us that he already won the first bout. He like we see later most likely targeted her arm and disabled her. He embedded his swords on the ground. Posing like an absolute unit that he is and say “It’s over.” Melina then straps her arm back on and begins the second bout. Radahn having no choice pulls his swords out and once again takes her prosthetic arm off. Melina knowing she can’t win decides to use the rott and infect Radahn. Dooming him for his mercy.
You can see Margit against Radahn on the in-game intro, probably before he learned gravity magic because he looks small.
Although Morgott respects him, he still calls Radahn willful traitor.
Not shure who is the aggressor.

@@facundovera3227 most likely Margit. He probably attacked Radahn because Radahn didn’t defend the castle but retreated to his own fort. We also have to remember Margit most likely tried to collect the runes as well to restore order. Other than that. It’s probably just for “Look how cool this looks.”
It is radahn who attacked lendyll capital, radahn isn't no saint you see. Morgott only got out of the sewers to defend his capital against him

@@bbefb045 he doesn't simp for the horse, it's like his best friend or something(kinda like a puppy, if you rode puppies into battle) yes,he wanted to be defeated in battle before the scarlet rot killed him (granted he kinda lost his mind because of the rot, but still) no one won until we the player beat him, I think overtime he became the super huge dude so it's not Leonard that's small (the horse is canonically named Leonard) it's Radahn being an absolute hulk of a man
Now i understand why they were the strongest... now i understand..
Even a year later, I still come back to watch this, such an incredible cinematic. Elden Ring will forever live in my brain, and I have no complaints.
