Dick Enberg was such a great announcer. I loved the passion and excitement he brought to every game he called.

steelers still made the playoffs in 1983 and in 1984 they went to the afc championship....Noll was a GREAT coach

Hard to watch this game and seeing the promise of Gabe Rivera as he's splitting double teams from a very good and physical Patriots offensive line. 😢

One thing about Grogan...stood very relaxed in the pocket. Quick release. Not a great arm but got the ball there

The Steelers offense was awful that year. Bradshaw was gone the entire year except for 15 minutes of the 1st quarter against the jets at the end of the year, Stallworth was injured for the entire year, Lynn Swan retired, Jim Smith went to the USFL, Franco Harris started strong but was wore out by the end of the year and was never the same again. Stout was too inexperienced and got sacked a million times and the receiver corps was not very good either. Calvin Sweeney was probably the best one they had. The defense played well and kept the Steelers competitive but by the end of the year they were wore out too.

Bell refused to sign and got traded. Sweeney was a bust. What was Noll supposed to do? I'm guessing you just don't like white players. Obviously you are just ignorant.

Early on in this game they incorrectly counted rookie Tim Harris' kickoff return yards as a rush attempt and yards rushing for Franco Harris.
They would correct it near the endzone on that drive.
