Italians don't care about Eurovision until it's Eurovision time. Sanremo is a lot more important, it's a cultural phenomenon. Sanremo is the oldest music contest in Europe and it inspired Eurovision :)

Hi Andy - quality was there this year, but last year was something else. Happy for Brividi, but Elisa was my favourite (probably not for the ESC, but that’s a song that we will remember)

Differently from last year my heart was tore in 3 halves: Mahmood/Blanco, Elisa and Irama. My winner was Irama (I can't fisically listen to "Ovunque Sarai" without crying, so that's the statement) but this was not only a gorgeous ballad, but also modern and fresh. Differently from last year my heart was tore in 3 halves: Mahmood/Blanco, Elisa and Irama. My winner was Irama (I can't fisically listen to "Ovunque Sarai" without crying, so that's the statement) but this was not only a gorgeous ballad, but also modern and fresh. Totally deserved, it would be cool to double on ESC, f just to redeem Soldi and the missed chance with Fai Rumore.... nonetheless I belive they will end up high.
BTW... I saw you reacting to other Sanremo songs, hope you're reacting to Irama too. That song deseves to be listened by everyone ♥
