This song - and Ed in general - is a beautifully written character. His guilt and grief aren't forgotten, but he builds on them... its a character type you don't see much nowadays.

@@martanek1082 I consider the 03 and Manga/Brotherhood versions both to be good characters. that said 03's more character driven storyline facilitated almost at the expensive of the villians allowed 03 Ed to be better in the relationships with Al especially but the dynamic with mustang is also more fleshed out.
