    Finite verb is mom..
    1st child is infinitive
    2nd child is gerund
    3rd child is participal..
    And their chids are...
    Infinitives - To
    gerund - ING
    Participle - v 3rd + Ing

And you missed "Non-finite," who is father.
Look, it was logically also true because a mother gives birth to a child; but still, a child belongs to a father. Similarly, finite verbs give birth to infinitives, gerunds, and participles; these children still belong to non-finite verbs.

An easy way to make a perfect participle is -
    1) Having edited the video, he went to school. (Active perfect participle)
=) After editing the video, he went to school.
    2) Having been defeated, he went away. (Passive perfect participle)
=) After being defeated, he went away.
Bonus tip: Think that "Having" is an alternative to "After", also think that "Having" is a preposition. Ultimately, "Perfect participles" are Adverb phrases as they give the answer to the question "When?"
Thank you 🙏🙏! I hope it helped you a lot...

Sir at 4:18, she completed her work is finite verb because now, the sentence is in past form but if we change the tense, the verb is changing... I hope my solution is correct 😊

    • @hlw_itzzunaira15
      @hlw_itzzunaira15 2 года назад +5

Heyy could you please clear it more???
Like if i change the tense into past continuous...then the"completed" will change into completing... and is that why it's called finite verb?
      I hope it's right...
